Scrip for today:PDCP-06/05/14-Run your race, with determination

Posted on Updated on

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1b, 2 NIV)

Be determined, while running the race of your life, proceeding with a sense of urgency, persistently steady, regardless of the obstacles or challenges you encounter along the course that’s clearly marked out for you to follow; refusing to acknowledge anyone or anything else, always staying focused, with your eyes gazing intently only upon The Savior of mankind, Jesus, who is the first, the pathfinder, the one to forge a new path, by entering and clearing the way for us to enter into a faith that is without any flaws, entirely faultless and beyond improvement, being entirely perfect. Because of the exhilarating extreme joyful delight that was presented to Him, by His Father, namely, the deliverance and salvation of the whole of humanity, He willingly yielded to the abject contemptible disdain and the disgracefully painful ignominy of the cruel cross, following this, He sat down and was seated right next to The Sovereign Almighty God, upon His eternal throne. (Hebrews 12:1b, 2 PDCP)

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. (Psalm 51:1, 2 NIV)

Almighty God, Creator of Heaven and earth, may Your kind benevolent forbearance and divine favor be shown to me, the offender, may it be fully consistent with Your inexhaustible, absolutely dependable, never failing, endless love, being in complete agreement with Your remarkable, exceptionally deep sympathy for me, having a strong desire to alleviate completely, by obliterating, removing, and wiping out my every violation of Your Holy Law, purifying me and taking away entirely out of existence every last bit of my wickedness, making me thoroughly clean of all evil and every transgression of Your Divine Law. (Psalm 51:1-2 PDCP)

Scrip for today:PDCP-06/03/14-Don’t think too highly of oneself

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. (Romans 12:3 NIV)

Because of The Lord’s unmerited favor given to me, in a spectacular and serendipitous manner, I am compelled to share this instructive and vital exhortation with you: do not ever consider yourself above or better than someone else, by thinking that you are in some way superior to or significantly more important than they are, but rather, exhibit wisdom, self-control and restraint by refusing to think of yourself in that way, always choosing to be in agreement with, while conforming to the very measure of faith that God Almighty has given to each one of you. (Romans 12:3 PDCP)

Scrip for today:PDCP-06/02/14-Our prime directive

Posted on Updated on

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34, 35 NIV)

The prime directive that I’m giving you to implement immediately, as a controlling influence, in your attitude and behavior towards each other, is fresh and brand new. This new command, that you exhibit openly an undying and unfailing love towards each other, should be the overarching authority in your life. In the same manner that I have openly exhibited My undying and unfailing love for you, so too must you openly exhibit this same love towards each other. As a direct result, of you following this new specific directive, everyone will clearly see and comprehend, without a doubt, establishing forever, that you are My true followers, if you freely choose to openly exhibit an undying and unfailing love towards each other. (John 13:34-35 PDCP)

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. (Acts 4:13 NIV)

What the members of the ruling council of men perceived with their own eyes dumbfounded and flabbergasted them, for what was standing before them were two undistinguished, quite unexceptional common place, run of the mill, with a woeful lack of education, as well as being somewhat inferior, to them, men, Peter and John, full of bold courage, without timidity or fear, and who overwhelmed the council with their presence, causing them to observe and notice that these men exhibited, with distinction, characteristics of speaking and acting with the same authority and power of the one they had interaction with and had been close companions of, so, therefore, they were no longer just ordinary men, but had become extraordinary, because they had been been with Jesus! (Acts 4:13 PDCP)
