Script for today: PDCP- 07/24/14- There’s Power In Confession And Prayer…

Posted on Updated on

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ NIV)

So then, because there are wonderful results when we utilize the power of prayer, in our everyday lives, our ordinary interaction with one another, should be that we openly acknowledge, owning up to our own faults, our willful and deliberate lapses in good and right behavior, which are violations and transgressions of God’s Holy Law, by being accountable to each other. We should also stand in the gap for one another, by offering up specific prayers of entreaties and requests for complete healing and restoration of spirit, soul and body, both for the individual and for the entire Company Of The Redeemed. The act and ordinary practice of praying with purposeful intent, as an individual member of The Company Of The Redeemed, is most potent, exerting a great and mighty force, not of this world, that produces an efficacious result, which also prepares and makes ready the individual, as well as, the whole Company Of The Redeemed, for works of service in God’s Kingdom. (James 5:16 PDCP)

“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. (‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬ NIV)

We should be ever mindful, taking great care, to not make it our habit or custom, of openly putting on display before others, our righteous conduct of good deeds and behavior, with the expressed desire and purpose of being recognized, seen and acknowledged by them. If we so choose to practice our righteousness before others in this manner, then we will not receive our real reward and recompense of being recognized and acknowledged by our Sovereign Creator and Father, who lives and rules from His Heavenly abode. It should be our greatest desire, to honor and please Him in everything we do and say in this life. (Matthew 6:1 PDCP)

Script for today: PDCP- 07/22/14- Love, Do Good, Bless And Pray For The Difficult People, In Your Life…

“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. (‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭27-28‬ NIV)

But to those of you who are willing to take to heart what I’m sharing, let it teach and guide you, becoming the motivation for how you live your life: Love those who you’ve become distanced from, those who are no longer friends, but are now your enemies, therefore, you are not wanting to have anything to do with them any more, due to the virulent and perhaps violent animosity that now exists between you and them, do good to and for those who now hate you, not just assenting in your mind to the ideal, but in your actions and deeds, and while you’re at it, choose to bless, not curse them, by speaking good things over them, things that will bring refreshing and bountiful provision into their lives, and finally, always devote yourself to praying specifically for those who have and presently are mistreating you! Remember the prayer of our Lord uttered from the cross, “Father, forgive them and don’t hold it against them for what they have done to me, as they are unaware of what they have done and are still doing.” (Luke 6:27-28 PDCP)

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭18‬ NIV)

There are no feelings of inadequacy, being fearful of not measuring up, in God’s love. Because God’s love is without defect or flaws, beyond improvement, perfect in every way and is exactly what is needed to expel, by force, all of our fears. Fear will never be able to accomplish God’s purpose for us, because being afraid of God’s wrath and punishment is not what’s going to keep us holy, righteous, and pure. Those who are motivated by being fearful of God’s wrath, will never be sustained by, nor made whole and complete, flawless, faultless, or correct in every detail in their life; for we are made perfect in His love, not His wrath. (1 John 4:18 PDCP)

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. (‭Psalm‬ ‭63‬:‭1‬ NIV)

You, O Sovereign Lord, The Almighty God, Maker of Heaven and earth and everything in them, You are my God, The One who created me to worship, honor and serve You. It is with the most serious intention, and divine purpose, that I am on the ultimate quest to find and discover who You are; I have an insatiable craving and an unquenchable thirsting for You and Your Manifest Presence. My entire being, my spirit, soul and body yearns, aches and is in desperate need of You in this indifferent, without any sustenance or moisture, very dry, cracked and parched land, where drought persists, with no spiritual drink to refresh and renew my whole being. (Psalm 63:1 PDCP)

Scrip for today: PDCP- 07/19/14- Real, True, Genuine Love Expressed…

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. (‭1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ NIV)

In order to fully experience, with a true understanding of what real genuine, self-sacrificing, unconditional, for the benefit of others, love is: we must be willing to follow the ultimate example of pure love, which is Jesus Christ, The One True Sovereign Lord of all, who willingly descended from the heights of Heaven to the lowest parts of the earth, so that we could one day, also enjoy, with Him, the wonder and magnificent splendor of Heaven. He freely gave His life up for us, by allowing Himself to be nailed to a cruel cross, (even to the point of abject humiliation). And we, the beloved and cherished of The Lord, should also reciprocate with the appropriate response of, likewise being willing to express our love towards each of our brothers and sisters in the same manner and fashion. (1 John 3:16 PDCP)
