Month: January 2015
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/02/15-“Nothing Else Matters, If I’m Bereft Of True Authentic Love!” (1 Corinthians 13:2)
Premise Question: Is there anything else, in this world, more important, than being able to fully experience, first, by receiving and possessing, then, by the giving and expressing of, God’s true, authentic love?
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:2 NIV)
Let’s assume, that I have the unique ability of being able to make inspired declarations, with absolute accuracy and also, that I’m able to apprehend the comprehension of quite puzzling and absurdly perplexing enigmas, as well as, being fully aware and enlightened, with perfect perception. And, furthermore, let’s also say, that I am in possession of a great and overcoming faith, powerful enough to remove and uproot the mountains from their very foundations, hurling them into the sea; but, all of this tremendous display of extraordinarily and unearthly glorious ability is completely meaningless and amounts to and counts for nothing, for if I do not possess and express God’s true, authentic love, I am a useless nobody. (1 Corinthians 13:2 PDCP)
Bottom Line: In answer to the question of whether there be anything more important, in his life, than possessing and expressing God’s true, authentic love, no there isn’t; for it matters not how talented we may be, or how many unique and splendid abilities we can display in a spectacular fashion and manner; all of it is for naught, and doesn’t count for or amount to anything, if we haven’t first, personally experienced, by receiving, then, personally given, by expressing God’s true, authentic love towards others. Blessings…
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/01/15-“Leave The Past, Live In The Now, Look Joyfully To The Future!” (Isaiah 43:18-19)
Premise Question: What good will ever come from continuing to live your life in the past?
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV)
18) Dismiss completely, from your mind, the things that you’ve experienced or may have endured in the past, whether it was long ago or even more recently, choose to move on and beyond all of it, the good, the bad and even the ugly; don’t subject yourself to continuing to mull the histrionics of it, again and again, in your head and heart, by rehearsing, recounting and reliving it over and over, without end or resolve, but set yourself free, releasing yourself from the past, by leaving the past behind and forever buried, in the past! 19) Behold, I, The Sovereign LORD God Almighty, am going to bring into existence, by My Spirit, a brand new thing! Even now, it is springing forth, up out of nothing; look for it, for it is already happening. Open up your spiritual eyes and begin to comprehend, what I, The LORD, am presently doing, on your behalf, for I am clearing a path and way, where there is no path or way, so that, you will have a safe passage through the abandoned and desolate wilderness, where there is nothing to drink or eat, but that I am now causing streams of living waters and rivers, filled with life, to begin to flow through and fill the barren, devastated and utterly forsaken desert lands. (Isaiah 43:18-19 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Continuing to focus and dwell on your past, whether it was a good, bad or ugly past, will never produce any good thing, and will, in actuality, always prevent and keep you from experiencing the fullness of the “New Thing,” that The LORD has prepared for you, in your sojourn in this life, and thereby, in essence, shall stop you dead in your tracks, not allowing you to in fulfill your life’s divine purpose. Blessings…and Happy New Year!!!
