“Delights And Desires” (Psalm 37:4)

Posted on Updated on

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
(‭Psalm‬ ‭37‬:‭4‬ NIV)

Be filled with rapturous joy and gleeful delight, as you enter into, being fully engaged in, the presence of The LORD, and He, The LORD God Almighty Himself, shall lavishly endow and bestow upon you, by fulfilling your deepest longings and cravings, that, with assured certitude, shall bring you great satisfaction and enjoyment, with perfect peace, to the innermost and deepest part of your unique disposition and inclination, at the very center of who you are and were created to be. (Psalm 37:4 PDCP) Blessings…

There are two ways to read this passage. Some people read this and think “God is a genie and will give me stuff if I behave.”

Other people (like me) read it and think “If I seek God, then He will put new desires into me my heart.”
