LOVE WINS, EVERY TIME!
“God allows what He hates to accomplish what He loves…”
A great quote that has been used by many different individual people, to respond to those folks who may ask why Papa God allows terrible and absolutely horribly awful things to happen…I’ve seen this quoted this past week by some of the family members of the victims of the racially motivated, murderous actions of an individual filled with anger, malice and hate. The kind of hate that can only be overcome with the love and goodness of Papa God, who Himself put on display, when He offered up His precious Son, Jesus Christ, who was without sin, upon a cruel cross, filled with abject shame and humiliation, to bear and carry all of humankind’s sin and transgressions, in order to overcome the darkness and evil that’s within each and every heart of humankind! Papa God’s only begotten laid His life down, as a ransom payment, so that He could purchase us, to be set free from sin and its penalty, taking us out of the darkness into His Holy Light, by removing every transgression and purifying every heart of all sin and iniquity, including all envy, jealousy, prejudice, resentment, hate, malice and murderous thoughts; and replacing it all with His unfailing love, undeserved mercy and abounding grace and His great loving kindness, so that, we can live in His presence of perfect peace and everlasting joy for eternity!
It has been quite encouraging and incredibly inspirational to see Papa God’s people of Mother Emanuel AME, as well as, all the people of Charleston, SC and beyond, allow His goodness and love to overcome and conquer the evil that was sent to steal, kill and destroy…When the people of God do this, love wins every time!
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. (Romans 12:21 NIV, NLT) It would be a good thing to take in the entire chapter of Romans12…Blessings…
