SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/09- “This Day, That Day, Still Today!” (Deuteronomy 30:16)

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/09- “This Day, That Day, Still Today!” (Deuteronomy 30:16)

Premise Question: Is Papa God’s explicit imperative, given a second time, through Moses, in order to remind His people, the Israelites, just before they entered the “Promise Land,” to love Papa God and to maintain His instructive prerogatives, formal authoritative orders, and His prescribed directives, with strict adherence; still relevant and applicable for us, who are Papa God’s people, today?

For I command you this day to love the LORD your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy. (‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30‬:‭16‬ NLT)

For I, Moses, explicitly remind you of the unambiguous imperatives of Papa God, to love The LORD your God and to live and walk according to each of the prerogatives, virtues and prescribed directives that He has decreed for you to strictly follow. When this is followed, with strict adherence, you shall reap the blessings of Papa God’s gracious favor and provision, and shall therefore, thrive, flourishing in the place that you go to occupy, dwell, live and enjoy your whole life in. (Deuteronomy 30:16 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Papa God says that He is the same today, as He was yesterday, and that He shall be forever and a day. So, in other words, it’s pretty obvious, that it’s not Him that’s going to ever be changing! Therefore, as it was for the people of Papa God that day, when He had Moses repeat the edict of The LORD to them, so it is, for the people of Papa God today. The spiritual principle has not changed; for with obedience comes blessings and benefits, and with disobedience comes curses and consequences. As it was then, it still remains today; a choice between life eternal, living in the joyful presence of Papa God, or everlasting damnation, death and eternal separation from the magnificent glorious presence of Papa God! Let’s choose life! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/08- “Papa God’s Word, Cuts And Carves, Right To The Core, It Slices And Severs, ‘Tween Soul And Spirit, Exacting With Perfect Precision, His Engraved Personal Etching, Upon Our Hearts!” (Hebrews 4:12)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/08- “Papa God’s Word, Cuts And Carves, Right To The Core, It Slices And Severs, ‘Tween Soul And Spirit, Exacting With Perfect Precision, His Engraved Personal Etching, Upon Our Hearts!” (Hebrews 4:12)

Premise Question: How do we, as believers, keep our sword razor sharp on both edges of its blade, staying effective in using it both vertically and horizontally, as well as, inwardly and outwardly, and which shall always bring honor and glory to The LORD?

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ NLT)

There is not a more potent, full of force and dynamic power, than Papa God’s efficacious living Word. There is no weapon on earth that is as sharp or its equal, as it incisively cuts and carves right to the core issues between our soul, with its emotions and human tendency to sin, and our spirit, which was created to worship, honor and commune with Papa God. His Word cuts deeply into our sinful nature, even separating out and revealing our most private and intimate thoughts, all of our imaginations, machinations are laid open and bare, for nothing can be hidden from Papa God, not even our personal proclivities, fascinations, cravings, infatuations, or longings; as He sees, knows and is fully aware of them all. (Hebrews 4:12 PDCP)

Bottom Line: There is but one way to keep The Sword of The LORD sharpened on both of its sides, in our lives, and that is, by loving Papa God, vertically and inwardly, within the within of our heart, mind, soul, body and with all of our strength, as well as, loving others, horizontally and outwardly, as much as we love ourselves, and with the same love that Papa God loves us with. So, love Papa God and your vertical/inward love shall always stay sharp and be accepted; love others and your horizontal/outward love shall always stay sharp and will be completely effective! Stay sharp, my fellow believers and dearly loved friends, by keeping both sides of your sword sharp, with The Stone the builders rejected, The Rock, The Word, Jesus Christ, The One True LORD and Savior of humankind! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/07- “We Are Comforted, So That We Can Comfort Others!” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/07- “We Are Comforted, So That We Can Comfort Others!” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

Premise Question: Is it possible to comfort others, who are going through tremendous trials, troubles, torment and great suffering, with the comfort of Papa God, without having first experienced His all sufficient comfort in our own disturbingly difficult, distressing and trying times, life?

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭3-4‬ NLT)

Every expression of approval, acclaim, accolade or laudation, should all be given to Papa God, The One True Sovereign Almighty God, who is The Father of our most precious LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is He, who is the fountainhead and wellspring of all reassuring, consoling comfort; sharing with us His generous grace, while showing us His magnanimous mercy. He does this, by bringing relief and solace to us, in the midst of our own troubling vexations, which then enables us to have the needed wherewithal, to help others in their difficult and trying times; for when they are overwhelmed, by the trials and vicissitudes of this life, we will have the capacity to be ready, willing and able, to administer the identical comfort and help, from Papa God, that we received and experienced in our own challenging and difficult times.
(2 Corinthians 1:3-4 PDCP)

Bottom Line: There’s a song, from a number of years ago, written by the wonderful song writer and precious minister of The LORD, Andre Crouch, entitled, “Through It All.” I believe the lyrics give us insight into the answer to the Premise Question. Here is a couple of partial examples, from that song.
#1) “But in every situation, God gave me blessed consolation, that my trials come only to make me strong.” #2) “For if I’d never had a problem, I wouldn’t know God could solve them, I’d never know what faith in God could do!”
So, perhaps Papa God permits and allows us to go through some of our own difficult trials, for a number of specific reasons. One would be that we might personally experience His all sufficient, reassuring, consoling comfort and peace. Two would be, so that we would then have the capacity to not only be absolutely certain about Papa God’s great comfort, but also have an authentic compassion for others, in what they are going through, as well as having the ability to do something about it, by bringing the same love, mercy, grace and comforting, all surpassing compassion, to bear into their lives in the exact same way. So, in answer to the Premise Question…”Nope” not possible! Why, because we are comforted so that we can comfort others, with the same comfort we were comforted with! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/06- “Papa God, Already Knows!” (Luke 12:29-31)

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/06- “Papa God, Already Knows!” (Luke 12:29-31)

Premise Question: Why would we, as practicing believers, ever allow the daily needs of life, to distract, dominate or consume us, given Papa God’s absolute promise of provision, for everything we have need of, delivered to us by none other than His Son, our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ Himself?

“And don’t be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don’t worry about such things. These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. (‭Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭29-31‬ NLT)

Stop allowing the cares of this life, as it pertains to, what kind of or whether or not you’ll have enough food and nourishment to sustain you, as well as, being troubled and bothered by what kind of or whether or not you’ll imbibe enough libation, in order to stay refreshed. Refuse to be tormented, vexed or bossed around by these things! Don’t ever allow them to cause mental anguish, consuming your thoughts, by domineering and dictating your behavior, as a practicing believer. Otherwise, you are acting just like every other person, in this world that is a nonbeliever, a scoffer, who are always subject to being dominated by such things, because of their unregenerate mind; conversely though, you don’t have any reason, as a practicing believer, to act in the same manner, as you have Papa God’s absolute promise of provision and the known fact that He is cognizant, being fully aware, of all of the essentials needed for living this life. So, all you really need to do, is to make it your life’s quest, your aim, to seek Papa God’s Kingdom, first and foremost, in your life and then He will make provision to you the totality of all that you will ever have need of, in order to sustain you, in this life. (Luke 12:29-31 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Why? Because if you are constantly, as a practicing believer, consumed and filled with dread, always living in a state of angst, because of your perceived situation and circumstances; then you are not thinking or behaving like a practicing believer, but conversely, you are actually thinking and acting just like any other non-believer does or would, everywhere else in the world! So, choose to accept the fact, as reality, that Papa God already knows, not only what you have need of, even before you ask or need it, but also, when you’ll need it! Therefore, focus on seeking His Kingdom and Righteousness to be established in your life, first and foremost, and leave the rest to Him. And then and only then, you shall have everything that you have need of, according to Papa God’s absolutely reliable promise, that it will be provided to you, by Him, when He knows that you are in need of it, no matter what it is, because He already knows, and wants to meet you at the place of your need! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/05- “O What A Day!” (Isaiah 12:4-5)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/05- “O What A Day!” (Isaiah 12:4-5)

Premise Question: Why will we, as believers, in that unique day, be so filled with ecstatic joy and gratitude, that explosions of outrageous, over the top expressions, of exuberant praise and celebrations, shall be seen and heard far and wide, by everyone everywhere, covering the face of the whole earth?

In that wonderful day you will sing: “Thank the LORD! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is! Sing to the LORD, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭12‬:‭4-5‬ NLT)

O what a glorious day that will be, beyond human imagination or description, as it shall be a day like no other, for on that magnificently glorious day, you shall sing out like never before; Thanking The LORD GOD Almighty for His marvelous mercy and His gracious help! Praising His incomparable Name, by giving proper, with reverential awe, homage! Announcing to the people of the earth, with great fanfare and extreme delight, the grand and glorious news of all that He has accomplished on humankind’s behalf; declaring, to everyone everywhere, with a supreme proclamation and narrative, of His excellence and mighty deeds! O sing out to The LORD GOD Almighty, like never before, let your songs of great joy describe His mighty and beyond belief wonderful acts of kindness; undeserved, but in His love, grace and mercy, done for all. Make sure His Name is praised and known, near and far, even to the very ends of the whole earth! (Isaiah 12:4-5 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Why, because it is on that day, that we will fully and truly realize all that The LORD GOD Almighty has accomplished for all those who’ve placed their complete faith and trust in Him. We will see clearly and know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that He is no longer angry with us, because of our sin and our rebellion, but now, He comforts us, defends and protects us, provides for us, saves and redeems us, giving us the ultimate victory over sin, death, hell and the grave! This realization will be proclaimed and publicized, far and wide, throughout the whole earth, with some powerfully beautiful words, from an all time favorite old gospel song, as quoted by Papa God’s powerful voice to the generations past, now and beyond, Dr Martin Luther King Jr. “Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!” Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/04- “Stop The Anxious Thoughts, That Fills You With Angst, Start The Hopeful Prayers, That Fills You With Peace!” (Philippians 4:6-7)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/04- “Stop The Anxious Thoughts, That Fills You With Angst, Start The Hopeful Prayers, That Fills You With Peace!” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Premise Question: Truly, is there anything at all, in our lives as believers, that we should be overwhelmingly concerned, anxious or worried about; and, are we, as believers, truly to pray about everything, in our lives?

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6-7‬ NLT)

Stop! Immediately cease and desist, from any and all perplexing apprehensions, worrisome vexations and woe. Start! Replacing all of that with a much more preferable, and with a much better outcome and result, by choosing to fervently pray to Papa God; preparing petitions, of essentials, required for life and ministry, offering them up to Him, with faith and a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving; for all that He has done for you and for the whole of humankind. Then! You shall immediately begin to have a serene sense of well being, beyond all human comprehension, deep within the within of your innermost being, as a tranquil, harmonious peace will wash over you, surrounding and settling upon and within you, in both your heart and mind, as well as your physical body, with your life always being defended, by our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, The One in Whom we all have an abundant and everlasting life. (Philippians 4:6-7 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Answer to the first part of the above Premise Question is: “Nope!” For there isn’t anything, in this world, meaning whatever, no matter what, in any degree or to any extent or circumstance, that we’ve gone through or may yet experience, whereby, Papa God doesn’t have the ability to give us His incomparable and incomprehensible peace, before, during and after any kind of situation or ordeal that we may happen to encounter in this life, if, we will put a stop to all our distressful, apprehensive concerns and fears, by choosing to call out to Papa God, in heartfelt prayer. Answer to the second part of the above Premise Question is: “Yep!” Without exception! Papa God is interested in every part and area of our lives. He desires that we would be at peace, deep within ourselves, settled and completely stable, within the within of our innermost being. This, so we are well equipped and ready to face, as well as, overcome any and all obstacles and challenges that we may encounter during this life. We shall also be at the ready to help others who’ve lost their way or who may be struggling; encouraging them to seek Papa God’s love, mercy and grace, and therefore, act on His behalf, as His instrument of refreshing, renewing and wonderful reconciliation. Stop the anxious thoughts, that fills you with angst, believers, and choose to start the hopeful prayers, that will fill you with Papa God’s real peace! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/03- “We Are Surrounded!” (Psalms 5:11-12)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/03- “We Are Surrounded!” (Psalms 5:11-12)

Premise Question: Why is it so significantly important, that all who would choose to take refuge and solace in Papa God, are allowed and greatly encouraged, to continually rejoice and celebrate, with joyful songs of exultation and praise?

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. For you bless the godly, O LORD; you surround them with your shield of love. (‭Psalms‬ ‭5‬:‭11-12‬ NLT)

Papa God, allow all who run to You for relief and comfort, seeking a secure and safe hiding place to take shelter in; to always be glad, taking great delight in celebratory exultations of joyful praise and worship, with the ability to do this, in Your presence for all of eternity. Provide a protective covering above all those who love, honor, serve and revere Your Holy Name; a secure covering that stretches beyond their capacity to see or comprehend, filling them to overflowing with Your fully satisfying and gratifying joy. For You, Papa God, always bless, with Your kind mercy and generous favor, all those who live according to Your righteous precepts, surrounding them, with Your all encompassing, unfailing, gracious love and goodwill. (Psalm 5:11-12 PDCP)

Bottom Line: It is significantly important for us to recognize, just how safe and really secure we are in Papa God’s presence. And, it is equally as important and extremely vital that we also realize that He has conferred upon us His gracious favor, enduring mercy and everlasting unfailing love, by bestowing on each of us the unique honor and special privilege, of having the joyous ability, to enjoy His personal presence, while we worship and praise Him now, and then, throughout all eternity, without end. So then, it’s with a heart full of great gratitude, sincere appreciation and thoughtful thankfulness, that we all, who are members of The Company of The Redeemed, should continually give Papa God all the praise, honor and glory that’s due Him, as it is He, that continually surrounds us with His protection and great love! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/02- “Love For Papa God, Versus Love For This World!” (1 John 2:15-16)

Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/02- “Love For Papa God, Versus Love For This World!” (1 John 2:15-16)

Premise Question: Is your love for Papa God pure and unencumbered, or is it a convoluted, entangled love, that has a strong attachment and affinity for the things of this world, always in competition with your love for Papa God?

Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. (‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭15-16‬ NLT)

Don’t ever get caught up and entangled, by falling in love with the tempting proposals and the things this world pitches to you. The world will promise to satisfy all of your deepest desires and most needed pleasures to enjoy; promising to provide you with all those things you may see and think that you can’t live without, as well as pushing you into chasing after prestigious awards and recognitions, which tend to indulge in self-importance, with an attitude of insolence and an air of superiority. This leaves you with always wanting to have and possess the latest gadget or toy. None of this is from Papa God, but emanates from the spirit of this world, which is controlled by the spirit of rebellion and pride; that stands against all that is Righteous, Holy and Good. For when you choose to love the things of this world, rather than loving Papa God, you’ll find that your love for the things of this world, cannot coexist with your love for Papa God. (1 John 2:15-16 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Your love for Papa God cannot coexist with your love for the things of this world! One love will eventually win-out over the other! Not that you can’t have an appreciation for, or even possess things, but as the old saying goes, “it’s alright to have things, so long as those things don’t have you!” For there is only One, that should have you completely, that is Papa God. Love for the things of this world should never, nor can it ever, replace your love for Papa God; for if it ever does, your love simply becomes misplaced! He should have your affinities, your affections, and your inclinations and proclivities should bend towards Him! After all, His Word does declare that you are to love Him with your whole heart, mind, body and soul; your entire being, and that you are to extend and express that same love towards others. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/01- “The LORD Is My Help; Therefore, I Shall Be Satisfied And Won’t Fear Others!” (Hebrews 13:5-6)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/01- “The LORD Is My Help; Therefore, I Shall Be Satisfied And Won’t Fear Others!” (Hebrews 13:5-6)

Premise Question: Is there someone, anyone, in this life, that we should fear, feeling or thinking, within ourselves, that they somehow have the power or ability to influence, circumvent or frustrate, short circuit, or even ultimately thwart and prevent Papa God’s divine will; His planned purpose and intended desire, for our life and ministry, from ever happening, while here on this earth?

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” (‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭5-6‬ NLT)

Don’t ever allow money or lack thereof, to control you in any way or to be the determining factor in what you do for The LORD and His Kingdom. Nor are you to ever let it rule your life, in always wanting and needing more of it or what it can buy. Always choose to be satisfied and gratified, completely content with what you do have and then, trust The LORD to make provision for what you need, that you don’t have, for this life and ministry. For Papa God has clearly spoken to us, “I will not ever fall short or be deficient, in fulfilling My purpose and will for you. And, I shall also never leave you behind, by forsaking and giving up on you!” That is why, we can declare, being fully confident and assured, that, The LORD is my helper, in all things and at all times; therefore, there will not ever be anyone nor anything that shall cause me to be paralyzed with debilitating fear. With all that said, what really is there, that anyone can do to me, that Papa God won’t take care of completely? Nothing! (Hebrews 13:5-6 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Because it is Papa God Himself, that tells us He will not ever leave or forsake us, we are fully assured, that He, The LORD is our helper and therefore, we have nothing and no one to fear! Now, everything is Papa God filtered; so therefore, it may appear to us, at times, that perhaps there are some who may have the ability to exert or have undo influence over the affairs of our lives, but this is not the real case or truth; for it may be that The LORD is allowing something to occur, which seems to be evidence that proves the case, when in fact, it is actually being put to good use by Papa God, as training in righteousness, so that, we will be fully equipped and completely prepared, lacking in nothing, for fulfilling the divine purpose, work and ministry that The LORD has pre-determined and called us to do while here on this earth. And all this, so that, The LORD’s Holy and Mighty Name will be praised, glorified and lifted high, in all that we say and do! Blessings…
