SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 10/07/15- “Nowhere Near—Close Enough To Hear!” (Proverbs 15:29)
Premise Question: How can a person, being seen by The LORD, be looked at, as being upright and righteous?
“The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous.”
(Proverbs 15:29 NLT)
The LORD God Almighty is far removed, being a long ways off and nowhere to be found, from the iniquitous; those who are shameless and morally depraved. But, He is always close enough to hear and perceive, by inclining Himself, in a favorable manner and disposition, towards the humble and contrite petitions, entreaties, supplications and requests offered up in prayer, by the righteous; those who are upright and blameless, in their lives. (Proverbs 15:29 PDCP)
Bottom Line: By staying far away from the things that The LORD calls wicked; things that corrupt the heart and soul, the mind and body and can keep and prevent the spirit from ever blossoming and flourishing, kept from ever being full of life or fulfilling and accomplishing Papa God’s divine purpose and will for their life. Papa God’s Holy Writ admonishes us to run away from anything that feeds and satisfies our lustful and sinfully wicked desires. Rather, we are exhorted to earnestly pursue, with all vigilance and devotion, a righteous and pure life, one that’s characterized and accompanied by faithfulness, love and peace, as well as one that’s able to enjoy, to the fullest, the company of the righteous and pure of heart. Papa God’s Holy Writ, without any equivocation, declares that there hasn’t ever been, is not and shall never be any peace for the wicked, but for the righteous, they will experience real peace and quiet, a calm assurance, with confidence, that comes from Papa God’s unfailing love and pure unadulterated truth meeting and coming together in a wonderful embrace, as righteousness and peace share an intense and passionate kiss! So, if we want The LORD to be close enough to not only hear our prayers, but then embrace and give us a kiss of affection and endearment, we absolutely need to shun all evil and then approach The LORD, with a humble and contrite spirit, pursuing Him, seeking Him and His righteousness, then we will truly have all that we will ever need, in this life, Him! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/28/15- “O LORD! Please! Help Me!” (Psalms 27:7)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/28/15- “O LORD! Please! Help Me!” (Psalms 27:7)
Premise Question: Where can I go to get the absolutely perfect soothing answer, that fulfills my desperate cry for help and then, truly refreshes and satisfies my soul?
“Hear me as I pray, O LORD. Be merciful and answer me!” (Psalms 27:7 NLT)
Most Holy and Sovereign LORD God Almighty, full of compassion and grace, incline Your omnipresent ear, with Your long suffering and gentle disposition, towards the direction and sound of my desperate call; at the very moment You hear Your most humble and full of gratitude, servant’s plea. Show me Your loving kindness, and Your beneficent gracious divine favor, by acting on my behalf and responding to me, with the perfect solution that will meet and solve the present situation and circumstance of my urgent and pressing call. Please, O LORD, answer me according to Your mercy and Your perfect purpose and will for my life. (Psalm 27:7 PDCP)
Bottom Line: There is an old song I remember singing quite a lot, while growing up in church many years ago; “Where Could I Go But To The LORD!” When, on occasion, I sang it as a child, it didn’t have much impact or meaning for me, as the lyrics didn’t necessarily pertain to me, in any great sense or degree; but as I grew older and subsequently experienced life on many different levels, it became extremely pertinent to me on a number of different levels, as well as, even greater, on a very personal basis. The lyrics to the chorus of, “Where Could I Go But To The LORD,” which was written by the great songwriter (J B) Coats in 1940, go as follows:
Where could I go, where could I go
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend, to help me in the end
Where could I go, but to The LORD
The lyrics in the three verses to this song are also quite powerful! So, as it pertains to the scripture verse found in (Psalms 27:7), we recognize that the only place that we can truly go, in order to have our desperate cry for help heard, and then, necessarily, as well as, satisfactorily answered, is to The LORD! There will be times and occasions in our life, though, that a friend, a family member, the church, the government or some other agency, will not have the capacity nor the capability to really hear, respond or understand our desperate cry for help, and thereby, satisfy and fulfill our deep need. But, we do have an advocate, who is willing, waiting and wanting to hear our voice cry out to Him for mercy, from the depths of a humble and contrite heart. We ought to humbly plead, pray and cry out to Him, asking Him to hear our cry for help, with the full understanding that it is only He, that can truly give us the help that we need. For He, The LORD, is our only hope! We serve a good, gracious and full of mercy Papa God! Therefore, we can humbly appeal to His beneficent mercy, great compassion and gracious favor, and with full assurance and confidence, know that He not only hears us, but will also acknowledge us, by getting back to us, with the perfect answer for us, in complete accordance with His divine purpose and will for our life. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/21/15- “The Way Of Humility Is Best Chosen!” (Proverbs 18:12)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/21/15- “The Way Of Humility Is Best Chosen!” (Proverbs 18:12)
Premise Question: Just what is the marked differences between haughtiness and humility and where does each of them end up?
“Haughtiness goes before destruction; humility precedes honor.”
(Proverbs 18:12 NLT)
In advance of a disastrous failure overtaking a person’s life and causing their complete undoing, resulting in ruination of a respectable reputation, and also accompanied by great loss; the issue begins in the innermost part of the person’s being, which is, the seat of their emotions, ethics, desires and attitudes, their heart. Now, unfortunately for them, when a person gives the self over to being highfalutin, pretentious, arrogantly supercilious and disdainfully contemptuous, disaster always follows. But, when an individual approaches life with a “down to earth,” genuinely meek, as well as, modest and humble heart, by not ever exhibiting an air of superiority, thinking they are better than someone else; then, that is the precursor that shows up, by making an appearance ahead of the huge blessings and benefits, along with the great honor, respect and high esteem, that will be conferred upon each individual’s life, who displays such humility. (Proverbs 18:12 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Haughtiness, which creates a debilitating blind spot in a person’s life, is accompanied by its self-centered, cantankerous, being recalcitrant and stubborn attitudes, as well as, being entirely incorrigible, intractable and snobbish, while displaying, disdainfully proud and obstinate behaviors, which are full of scorn and arrogant pomposity, will always pave the way for a person’s life to be ushered onto the path that will ultimately lead to utter devastation, complete ruination, ending in total destruction of one’s life and reputation!
Humility, conversely though, with its attitudes and behaviors of lowliness, meekness, gentleness, deference, reverence, respect and regard for Papa God and others, creates perfect vision and discernment in a person’s life, as it opens up the lines of communication with Papa God’s Spirit, in order to develop a personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ, who then becomes our spiritual guide, by the Spirit, directing and leading us to the way and upon the path of eternal life, divine wisdom, perfect peace and the fullness of everlasting joy! Therefore, always remember: The way of humility is always best chosen! Haughtiness is the quickest way to wreck yourself! Humility is the only way to great honor! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/29/15- “Restore Our Joy!” (Psalms 51:12)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/29/15- “Restore Our Joy!” (Psalms 51:12)
Premise Question: Does any of Papa God’s dearly beloved children, have the capability of experiencing the fullness of His joy and His gracious gift of redeeming salvation, without initially approaching Him, with a humble and broken spirit and a heart that’s inclined to obey Him?
Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. (Psalms 51:12 NLT)
Bring me, Your humble, broken and extremely grateful servant, back to the place and moment where You first shared with me the epitome and very essence of Your complete joy, in it’s highest degree and fullest measure, Your salvation, my redemption. I entreat You, Sovereign LORD God Almighty, to bestow upon me, Your humble, broken and full of gratitude servant, a right disposition in my spirit, with a willing heart that’s determined to always honor and obey You; for only You, O Lord, can truly sustain me. (Psalm 51:12 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Quick answer: Nope! Papa God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, and by the power and personal presence of The Holy Spirit’s influence, guidance and the pouring out into and upon our lives of His comfort, peace and joy, which restores our soul, renews our spirit, refreshes our body and returns us back to The LORD, in right relationship, in order to fully experience the sweet fellowship and the full and the complete restoration of His joy and redeeming, merciful and gracious, personal deliverance, even the salvation of our entire being, it is a complete and total impossibility. For it truly is He, and only He, The Sovereign LORD God Almighty, our loving and most merciful and gracious Papa God, who has the ability to renew and refresh, revitalize and restore us back to Him, as His joyful delight and His emancipated, set free to worship and adore Him, precious and beloved very own children. We should desperately want and seek to be restored by the joy of His salvation, for we all are in dire need of it! We can only find, acquire and get it, though, if we are inclined to obey Him, with a humble heart that’s broken and contrite. The LORD God Almighty is no respecter of persons, so if you desperately want and earnestly seek Him, and desire to do His will and to be restored with the joy of His salvation, in your life, you will find Him, if you seek Him with all of your heart, in humility, brokenness and obedience. Remember, The LORD says that He will never turn away from, refuse or despise, a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart. (Psalm 51:17) Restore our joy, O LORD! Blessings…
