SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/20/15- “Shelter, Shadow, Refuge, Fortress; The Almighty Is This And More!” (Psalms 91:1-2)

Premise Question: What does it mean to be in and is there any other place to be, than in the shelter, shadow, refuge and fortress of The Almighty?

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Anyone and everyone, no matter who they are or from whence they came, if they choose to live their life, by taking up permanent residence, in the presence and protection of The Supernally Most High, Sovereign Papa God; they shall forever be safe and secure, renewed and refreshed, completely at rest, under the covering of the ever watchful care and strong influence of the all powerful, all knowing, splendid magnificence of The Almighty Himself. “I declare openly, unafraid and unashamed, that He, The Sovereign LORD God Almighty alone, is my sole place of refuge; for He is my defender and protector, the one I run to, as my strong tower of strength, my impenetrable fortress, my Redeemer, my LORD and Savior, my God and King, the only one I completely and confidently, rely upon and place my trust in, as The Eternal Hope of my salvation.” (Psalms 91:1-2 PDCP)

Bottom Line: When one is residing within the shelter of The Almighty’s presence, out of the elements of the tumultuous storms of life, they are truly safe and secure in His arms, hidden and protected, being surrounded by a safe haven and harbor; kept away, also, from all incriminations and blame. They are covered underneath and within the shadow of His far reaching wings, always under the watchful, care and concern of The Almighty. Those who are poor and needy are kept from danger and trouble, within the refuge of The Almighty; receiving aid and comfort, along with necessary and needed relief and provision; for it is always better to put your trust in The Almighty, rather than people or princes. “A Mighty Fortress is our Papa God!” He is our stronghold, our rescuer; His Name is our Strong Fortress, and therefore, we will never be shaken! There’s no place I would rather be, than here in the presence of The Almighty’s unfailing love, mercy and grace; for there is not a better place to be, than in the shelter, shadow, refuge and fortress of The Almighty! For He is every bit of that and so much more! Blessings… #YouVersion #TheAlmightyisastrongtower #TheAlmightyisasheltershadowrefugefortress

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/31/15- “Papa God’s Commands Bring Comfort And Joy!” (Psalms 119:143)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/31/15- “Papa God’s Commands Bring Comfort And Joy!” (Psalms 119:143)

Premise Question: What can one do, where does one turn, who should one call out to, when hemmed in, completely surrounded, pressed hard and buffeted on every side, without any relief or point of escape in sight?

“As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.”
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:143‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Even though I may become overwhelmed during difficult, discomforting, disturbing, as well as, distressful taxing times of trials, troubles, turbulent and turbid circumstances, that are filled with anxiety, I am still consumed and captured by my love for Your commands, for when I turn to them, they give me much needed comfort, real joy and pure delight. (Psalm 119:143 PDCP)

Bottom Line: What can one do, where does one turn and who should one call out to, when being overwhelmed by the events and complexities of life? One can and absolutely should seek the face of The Rock that the builders rejected and then, turn unto His commands. Jesus Christ is The Rock and Cornerstone of our redeeming salvation, for in Him and them only, does one find the very essence of real joy, sweet comfort, perfect peace and pure delight! This has always been, is now and forever will be true; regardless of the severe situations, complicated circumstances and dire consequences one may face in life. Even when one is completely surrounded and hemmed in, with no where to run, no place to turn, no way out, no point of escape in sight, and further still, even while being beaten and buffeted on every side, one can confidently, with full assurance, choose to turn and look to The LORD, The Rock of our salvation, and find His life giving and renewing commands, which brings us His sweet comfort, real joy and pure delight. I really like the way the Apostle Paul puts it in (2 Corinthians 4:8) “We are hard pressed on every side by many terrible troubles, and yet, we survive and are not decimated and entirely crushed.” He goes on to further say: “We are uncertain, being completely perplexed and troubled, but we are sustained and still remain filled with The joy of The LORD, even though, in the natural, we would typically be utterly driven into the depths of depression and despair, and yet, we rejoice and are lifted high!”

As I was meditating on (Psalms 119:143), a song began clearly and vividly playing in my head. In my mind, I heard my sister Terry singing the song, “I Go To The Rock.” I was so moved by the experience, that I was compelled to call my sister and tell her about it! As soon as I told her the reason for my call, she immediately began singing it to me over the phone! It was perfect! Thanks sis…This experience, I believe, tells us, that is exactly what each of us should immediately do, at all times, on all occasions, in any situation and in every circumstance; go to The Rock of our salvation and look unto His life giving, filled with joy, comfort and delight commands. Blessings… #YouVersion #findjoyinthecommandsofTheLORD #gotoTheRock

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/11/15- “Papa God’s Eyes Are Upon The Righteous!” (1Peter 3:12-13)

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/11/15- “Papa God’s Eyes Are Upon The Righteous!” (1 Peter 3:12-13)

Premise Question: Where does the hope, confidence and assurance of the righteous, each and every member of The Company of The Redeemed, come from, and is there any hope for the wicked, who’ve not been redeemed?

“The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the LORD turns his face against those who do evil.” Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good?” (‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3:12-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

For The LORD God Almighty’s eyes, with rapt attention and close observation, are focused upon all those who are living right, and His ears are ever ready, inclined towards, in tune and near them, while monitoring closely and listening intently to hear the supplications, entreaties and prayers of the righteous. But the countenance and visage of The LORD God Almighty turns away from the wicked and their evil practices, for He ever resists them, will always be opposed to them and will never grant them His approval. Who, whether of this world or not of this world, will ever have the ability to bring eternal injury or harm to you, if you make it your earnest desire, with The LORD God Almighty’s enabling help, to always do what is morally excellent, honorable and genuinely good? (1 Peter 3:12-13 PDCP)

Bottom Line: The righteous, those who’ve been made righteous, in the sight of Papa God, through the sacrificial offering of His Only Begotten Son on the cross, making it possible, then, for everyone in humankind to experience the redeeming love, mercy and grace of an obedient Savior and loving Papa God, when upon the recognition of their personal sin and need for individual salvation and redemption, they confess and repent of their sin and place their complete faith and full trust in Papa God’s gracious provision of His spectacular gift of a new and eternal life, which is empowered by The Spirit of Christ living inside each believer! Each and every member of The Company of The Redeemed can be fully assured, with complete confidence, that The LORD God Almighty is fully aware of who you are, where you are and what you are doing, for He is ever watching over you, and is ever listening intently to the prayers of His own. A couple of phrases from the Scriptures gives us great hope and confidence, these phrases were also utilized as comforting lyrics in a couple of songs from long ago: “He never sleeps, He never slumbers, He watches over me both night and day!” (Andrea Crouch & The Disciples version is my favorite) “His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches over me!” (Mahalia Jackson version is my favorite) Now, with regards to the wicked, those who’ve not yet been redeemed, there is hope for them if, and only if, they choose to accept Papa God’s overture of love, mercy and grace that He has provided and shown them, in His Son Jesus Christ, The Savior and only hope of humankind; otherwise, there is no hope ever for the wicked! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/07/15- “Blinded By The Light, That Gives Us Sight!” (1 Peter 2:9)

Premise Question: What are we, The Company of The Redeemed, not like; why are we not like that, what and who are we likened to, and for what specific reason and divine purpose is there, as well it should be, such a stark contrast and obvious difference between the two?

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” (‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

But you, The Company of The Redeemed, have the unique distinction of being a most preferred selected people, in the lineage of priests that are directly related to royalty; therefore, you have been declared sacred, as a dedicated people group, purchased by The Almighty Sovereign Papa God, as His own precious, valuable treasure, so that you may put on display, with fanfare, a very public extolling, with great enthusiasm, the goodness and greatness of a loving, filled with grace and merciful Papa God, who has summoned you to come out of darkness, no longer being held captive and blinded by its evil power and authority, but rescued, delivered and given new sight, by being brought into His magnificently marvelous, gloriously wonderful, supremely brilliant, excellent light. (1 Peter 2:9 PDCP)

Bottom Line: We, The Company of The Redeemed, are not anything like those who rejected The Cornerstone of the Holy Temple that’s being built by Papa God Himself. For they were the very ones that were initially given the incredible responsibility and blest opportunity to be the builders of The Temple of God, but instead, they chose to reject, despise and hate Him, Jesus Christ, whom Papa God has personally chosen for great honor and glory. We, on the other hand, are not like those who choose to reject and despise Papa God’s magnanimous overture of unfailing love, His incredible grace, marvelous mercy and His great favor shown towards humankind, offering them salvation, deliverance and redemption; for we are likened to being living stones, Papa God’s own possession, a holy nation of people that are purchased and paid for through redemption. We have been personally chosen by Papa God, to serve as holy priests in His Holy Temple; offering up our individual spiritual sacrifices of praise and worship, to The King Eternal, which pleases Papa God greatly! So, because we have chosen to accept, believe, obey and receive Jesus Christ, as The Cornerstone of The Holy Temple being built by Papa God, which He is erecting with each of us, as individual living stones, we will not ever stumble, be crushed or disgraced by The Rock, which will fall upon and crush all those who reject Him. But we, who have chosen to fall upon The Rock, are now able to stand firm, tall and strong upon The Solid Rock, which is Jesus Christ, The Cornerstone of the Spiritual Temple being built by Papa God. Finally, the specific reason and divine purpose there is such a stark contrast and difference between those of us who are members of The Company of The Redeemed and who’ve accepted the goodness of Papa God and His Son Jesus Christ, as The Cornerstone, and those who’ve chosen to reject the goodness of Papa God and His Son, as The Cornerstone of Papa God’s Holy Temple, can be likened to the contrast and difference one can obviously see between darkness and light. Those who reject Jesus Christ, The Cornerstone of The Holy Temple, are choosing to stay in the depravity of the darkness of this world, and therefore, shall never experience being delivered out of darkness into Papa God’s wonderful light and will be forever blind, without the benefit derived from being blinded by Papa God’s Holy Light and then being delivered out of the depravity of darkness into His wonderful light! But not so for us who have personally experienced being delivered from the depravity of darkness into Papa God’s glorious and wonderful light, for once we were blind, but now We can see! Choose this day to open your eyes to The LORD, to be blinded by the light that gives you sight, The light of the world, Jesus Christ, and be set free to see and be, letting your light shine bright for all to see! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 07/26/15- “The Great I Am Is Always There!” (Isaiah 41:10)

Premise Question: Knowing and fully accepting the premise that Papa God is completely for us, who are members in right standing, of The Company of The Redeemed, and that He is always on our side fighting all of our battles, who is it that could ever really be successful in coming or going against us, His precious and dearly beloved own children?

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭NLT)

So, do not, under any circumstance you face, or situation you are going through, allow yourself to be overwhelmed, with distressing, worrisome, anxious thoughts, for I AM, The Great I AM, The Sovereign One True Almighty Papa God, Creator of Heaven and earth, will always be right there with you, close by your side. Do not, at any time or upon any occasion, give yourself over to being disheartened, lacking courage, wanting to just give up, but stay bold and courageous, for I AM, is your Papa God. I AM, will never leave you in a weakened state, without help, hope or provision, for I AM, will strengthen you, making you strong enough to face whatever is challenging you in the moment, I AM, will always help you. I AM, shall forever support and defend you against any and all opposition; keeping you from sinking into the depths of despair and eternal death. I AM, will accomplish this, with My incomparable, strong and victorious, filled with all honor and might, Glorious Righteous Right Hand. (Isaiah 41:10 PDCP)

Bottom Line: If Papa God is for us, who or what can be against us? Nothing and no one! No one and nothing will ever be successful in keeping Papa God’s will and purpose for our lives from coming to fruition. Therefore, there is never going to be a valid time or reason why we should ever be fearful, frightened, distraught, timid or afraid! Papa God has promised that He will never leave or forsake us! Whatever He says He will do, He most definitely will do, because He is ever faithful, and when He does it, He will do it thoroughly, completely and that, with excellence, honor and glory. When The LORD tells us to not even allow our hearts to ever be troubled or to be dismayed, we can take Him at His Word! When He tells us that in this life, this world, we are going to experience trouble, trials, temptations, attacks, ridicule, suffering, persecution, but, we are to be full of joy and cheer, and to not be discouraged because of any of it, as He has overcome this world and everything that could ever happen to us in this life, we are to rejoice and be glad, for He has promised to give us His strength, His peace, and His comfort, encouragement, refreshing, restoration and renewal! Our’s is the victory forever and always, because The Most High, Papa God, The Sovereign LORD God Almighty, is our LORD and Savior, The Great I Am, who is always there for us! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/11/15- “The LORD Revives Us With His Boundless Love and Fills Us With Joyful Expectation!” (Psalm 94:18-19)

Premise Question: Thank The LORD that He is there to pick us up when we slip and slide or fail and fall down; but, why is it the case for many of us, that the only time we seem to call upon The Name of The LORD is when we are in utter despair or desperately in need of His help and assistance?

I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. (‭Psalms‬ ‭94‬:‭18-19‬ NLT)

It was when I came to the full realization, O LORD, that I was absolutely loosing my grip in life, not able to hold on any longer, feeling like I had completely lost my bearings and was literally coming apart at the seams, having lost any semblance of sure footing on the extremely slippery slope I was trying to negotiate, that I began to call upon Your Name with a great sense of urgency, lamenting out loud, with tortured and grievous tears. It was then, at that very moment, that I began to experience Your great love washing over for me, wave after wave, it overwhelmed and undergirded me, steadying my walk and calming my mind, by removing all uncertainty, worry and angst from my mind and deep within me, with Your boundless and great consoling love, which brought exhilarating joy and a complete reviving of an expectation of optimism back into my life! (Psalm 94:18, 19 PDCP)

Bottom Line: It truly is a wonderful blessing, honor and privilege to be able to call upon The Name of The LORD in our times of turmoil, trial, trouble and terrible tribulations, our times of distress and despair, when we are full of doubts and desperation; for He will surely overwhelm us with His unfailing love; filling us with exhilarating joy and reviving in us an expectation of optimism, by renewing our spirit and completely restoring our soul. We should make it our common practice, though, to not just call on The Name of The LORD when we are in trouble or need, but at all times, on all occasions, in every situation and circumstance, whether it’s in good times or bad times, high times or low times, up or down, even during times when we have all that we have need of, as well as, during those times that we may have little of or not have anything of what we are lacking and in great need of. The LORD has promised to answer us when we call. (Jeremiah 33:3) He’s told us that when we call upon Him to not be afraid or fearful. (Lamentations 3:57) He has encouraged us to seek Him and call upon His Name while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6) He has commanded us to be at peace and instructed us to be still. (Psalm 46:10) We are to always be full of and expressing The joy of The LORD, being considerate towards others, not worrying about anything, but praying about everything, telling The LORD what we need and always being thankful to Him, and constantly keeping our focus on Him, while serving and doing good to others. (Philippians 4:4-9) Call on The Name of The LORD everyday, at all times, on every occasion, in every circumstance and situation and fully experience His boundless love, being revived and renewed, filled with an expectation of optimism and joy! Blessings… #YouVersion #filledwithjoyandhope #unfailinglove

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 04/25/15- “Mother Mary, Aunt Mary And, Friend And Follower Mary!” (John 19:25)

Premise Question: What is the message of hope and strong source of strength, with the much needed and appropriate help, for what we may have to face or go through, at any moment and time, in our lives, that we can extrapolate and draw, from the picture that’s being painted with words for us, here in this passage of scripture?

Standing near the cross were Jesus’ mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary (the wife of Clopas), and Mary Magdalene. (‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭25‬ NLT)

Standing together at the base of the cross, huddled close, while holding onto each other tightly and supporting one another, as they looked up at Jesus hanging there on His cross, were His Mother Mary, His Aunt Mary and His friend and follower, Mary of Magdala. (John 19:25 PDCP)

Bottom Line: There are going to be times and occasions, where we ourselves or those that we are close to, are going to experience great times of stress, hardships, difficult and hard to comprehend situations and circumstances, trials and turmoil, sickness and affliction, broken relationships, being wounded, with emotional, mental or physical pain, disappointments, and even perhaps an untimely or totally unexpected death, in its various forms and ways. During any and all of those experiences and times, we may not have the perfect resolve or answer, but what we do have, is each other and we can, should and must be there for each other, on every occasion that comes along, supporting and encouraging one another with comfort, peace and strength, exhibiting hope and giving our help and love in the practical and appropriate ways that we have the ability to do so. Just being there, with each other, availing and travailing, by making ourselves available, as a true friend, who will come alongside, to be comforting, supporting, bearing each other up and undergirding one another during those truly difficult times. Not to mention, that we now have The Great Comforter, to bring the comforting help and support through each other for one another! Blessings… #YouVersion #comfortandpeace #togetherasone
