SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 12/17- “I’m All In—With My Whole Heart!” (Psalms 119:10)

Premise Question: What place, position, preeminence and precedence should seeking, serving and worshipping The LORD, have, be and take in our lives?

“I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands.”
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

I, therefore, completely surrender my entire being, not holding anything back or in reserve, but with a deliberate diligence, abandon myself wholeheartedly, to serving and worshiping You alone, The One True Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty. So, my dear LORD GOD Almighty, I urgently and with a sincere heart, humbly request that You help me, by keeping me from ever deviating, stumbling or leaving Your righteous path, that You, O LORD, have clearly marked and paved, with Your life-giving, sustaining and preserving, commandments for my life. (Psalm 119:10 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Seeking, serving and worshiping The LORD should never be relegated to something we just poke or pick at, or just have in our lives as an enjoyable hobby, or as an activity that we use as a way to socialize or accommodate some business venture.

We should and must abandon ourselves completely to Him—His righteous way, His perfect will and His divine purpose for our lives!

You’ve heard it said before…”Either The LORD is LORD of all or He’s not LORD at all!” Let’s all choose to give The LORD His rightful place, position, preeminence and precedence, by making Him The LORD of all! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 11/17- “Humankind’s Main Mission In Life!” (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

Premise Question: What is the basic duty and grand commission for all of humankind?

“That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty.” (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Okay, so now that all the evidence is in, and we’ve covered everything that needs and should be paid close attention too, here’s the bottom line, the end of it all, concerning what is most important to consider, address, to be fully aware of and to deliberately follow, with absolute diligence in life: Choose to always honor The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, with the greatest of respect, holy reverential awe and veneration, and in conjunction with, devoting yourself to observing, obeying and relying upon His wonderful commandments to be the ultimate guide and influence in your life. For this truly is the expectation, the obligation and honorable service that is required of the whole of humankind. (Ecclesiastes 12:13 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Always honor, respect and revere The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty in and with your life; devoting yourself, with great diligence, to complying with, by deliberately following closely, adhering to, and keeping His commands, for this is the divine duty and grand commission of all of humankind. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/31- “Papa God’s Commands Bring Comfort And Joy!” (Psalms 119:143)

Premise Question: What can one do, where does one turn, who should one call out to, when hemmed in, completely surrounded, pressed hard and buffeted on every side, without any relief or point of escape in sight?

“As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.”
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:143‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Even though I may become overwhelmed, at times, during difficult, discomforting, disturbing, as well as, distressful and taxing times of trials, troubles, turbulent and turbid circumstances, that are filled with vexing anxiety, I am still consumed and captured by my love for Your commands, for when I turn to them, they give me much needed comfort, real joy and pure delight. (Psalm 119:143 PDCP)

Bottom Line: What can one do, where does one turn and who should one call out to, while and when being overwhelmed by the events and complexities of life? One can and absolutely should seek the face of The Rock that the builders rejected and then, turn unto His commands. Jesus Christ is The Rock and Cornerstone of our redeeming salvation, for in Him and His commands only, does one find the very essence of real joy, sweet comfort, perfect peace and pure delight! This has always been, is now and forever will be true; regardless of the severe situations, complicated circumstances and dire consequences one may face in life. Even when one is completely surrounded and hemmed in, with no where to run, no place to turn, no way out, no point of escape in sight, and further still, even while being beaten and buffeted on every side, one can confidently, with full assurance, choose to turn and look to The LORD, The Rock of our salvation, and find His life-giving and renewing commands; which brings us His sweet comfort, real joy and pure delight.

I really like the way the Apostle Paul puts it in (2 Corinthians 4:8) “We are hard pressed on every side by many terrible troubles, and yet, we survive and are not decimated and entirely crushed.” He goes on to further say: “We are uncertain, being completely perplexed and troubled, but we are sustained and still remain filled with The joy of The LORD, even though, in the natural, we would typically be utterly driven into the depths of depression and despair, and yet, we rejoice and are lifted high!”

As I was meditating on (Psalms 119:143), a song began clearly and vividly playing in my head. In my mind, I heard my sister Terry singing the song, “I Go To The Rock.” I was so moved by the experience, that I was compelled to call my sister and tell her about it! As soon as I told her the reason for my call, she immediately began singing it to me over the phone! It was perfect! Thanks sis…

This experience, I believe, tells us, that is exactly what each of us should immediately do, at all times, on all occasions, in any situation and in every circumstance; go to The Rock of our salvation and look unto His life-giving, filled with joy, comfort and delight, commands. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/13/15- “Mandates That Are Central And Vital To Our Lives!” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

Premise Question: What are we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, internalizing and personalizing, and what are we teaching the generations that follow and succeed us to internalize and personalize?

“And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.” (‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:6-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

These righteous directives that I’m giving to you today, are for your benefit, as they are imperative mandates for living your lives, each and everyday, in a righteous way. Therefore, you must make them a vital and essential focus, becoming the central part of your lives, by deeply embedding them into yours and your children’s hearts. These mandates should also become the strongest teaching influence and inspirational guide in your children’s lives; reproducing, by internalizing and personalizing, committing to their memory, in them, Papa God’s righteousness. Speak, discuss and teach them while you’re in your home, whether it’s mealtime, family time, or even downtime, make these mandates the topic of conversation, no matter when or what particular course of life you are pursuing along the path, during your sojourn; whether you are reclining or recumbent, retiring at the end of your day for rest or sleep, or awakening and arising to begin your day, keep them before you and your children, at all times, on all occasions, no matter the situation or circumstance. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7 PDCP)

Bottom Line: The premise question could have been, since we are now deeply embedded in the age of computers and use of personal devices; do you have an IP address, what is your IP address, what and who is your IP address connected to, and are you following its protocol?

As each computer and personal device has an IP address of its own, so too, has each individual in humankind been assigned their own spiritual “IP” address, by Papa God; which is both personal and unique, as it’s a one of a kind, for there’s not another one exactly like it that has been or ever will be issued.

We, all of humankind, are referred to as being fearfully and wonderfully made, Papa God’s own unique and beloved, made with His own hands and then, given His own breath, creation.

We, all who’ve become members of The Company of The Redeemed, are called a peculiar people, a royal priesthood, the very offspring of The Most High!

It is The Most High that has called and required us to follow His specific righteous directives and imperative mandates, His procedures and protocols, and that, for our own benefit, in order to promote a flourishing, fulfilling, satisfying and successful life, during our sojourn here on earth; but to also have an impact on our eternal existence and future as well.

When we internalize something, it becomes a central part of influencing who we are and in determining our values, mores, our motives, attitudes, ethics, our outlook on life and our belief system.

When we personalize something, it marks us, very much like a tattoo marks the outer layer of skin of an individual and then becomes something that the individual identifies with, as well as, others identifying the individual with the mark, so too, our heart and very soul becomes marked with whatever we’ve allowed ourselves to internalize and personalize, for it becomes incorporated as an integral part of our identity, within the within, of who we are, and clearly shows and demonstrates what we’ve come into agreement with in our lives.

We all need to come into agreement with Papa God’s command to internalize and personalize His life giving Word, His righteous directives and imperative mandates, into the innermost part of our beings and into every part of our daily existence, as well as, being devoted, deliberant and with great diligence, to train up, teach, mentor and guide the generations that follow, to also internalize and personalize Papa God’s Word into each and every moment of every day of their own sojourn here upon this earth, no matter what! For it truly is our prime directive! Blessings…

Blessings.

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/12- “The LORD GOD Almighty’s Love Is Lavished Upon Generation After Generation!” (Psalms 103:17-18)

Premise Question: Just what kind of love is a love that continues on down throughout the ages, generation after generation, never ending, always extending, ever mending, not ever pretending, but certainly contending, tending and bending towards, as well as, lending a reliable, huge and helping hand to all those who are faithful, and will fear and revere, honor and obey, The LORD GOD Almighty’s covenant and commands?

“But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his commandments!” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:17-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

From eternity past through eternity future, the all consuming, never failing, unconditional, reliable love of The LORD GOD Almighty is always going to be lavished upon those who are His beloved children; all those who will faithfully worship and honor Him, in holy reverential awe. Generation after generation, without end, will know of His love and salvation, by keeping, obeying and following His righteous commands and directives. This will have a glorious and wonderfully beneficial effect in each of their lives, as The LORD GOD Almighty’s righteousness and love, which will be clearly seen by all, will be extended and poured out upon all, even to all succeeding generations! (Psalms 103:17-18 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Quick answer: It is the love of Papa God—The LORD GOD Almighty! There is not another love like it, period! His love is the only love that can set the captive free! His love is truly the only love that releases the prisoners from darkness and bondage! The only love that enables us to walk in love before others, forgive, release and bless others, when we’ve been wronged, wounded or hurt by them, and to truly forgive and release ourselves, when we’ve hurt, wounded or harmed others. It is the love of Papa God that releases and sets us free from our bitterness, anger, addictions, predilection, rage, resentment, regrets and remorse; “for whom The Son sets free, is free indeed!”

Oh that we would choose to tap into His love, and then make it our life’s ambition to see it carried out in our daily lives; passing it on down the line to every generation that we have the privilege, honor and opportunity of touching and influencing with His great love.

One of my favorite passage of Scripture is found in (1 John), here it is: “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.” (1 John 3:1-3 NLT) Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/09- “This Day, That Day, Still Today!” (Deuteronomy 30:16)

Premise Question: Is Papa God’s explicit imperative, given a second time, through Moses, in order to remind His people, the Israelites, just before they entered the “Promise Land,” to love Papa God and to maintain His instructive prerogatives, formal authoritative orders, and His prescribed directives, with strict adherence; still relevant and applicable for us, who are Papa God’s people, today?

For I command you this day to love the LORD your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy. (‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30‬:‭16‬ NLT)

For I, Moses, explicitly remind you of the unambiguous imperatives of Papa God, to love The LORD your God and to live and walk according to each of the prerogatives, virtues and prescribed directives that He has decreed for you to strictly follow. When this is followed, with strict adherence, you shall reap the blessings of Papa God’s gracious favor and provision, and shall therefore, thrive, flourishing in the place that you go to occupy, dwell, live and enjoy your whole life in. (Deuteronomy 30:16 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Papa God says that He is the same today, as He was yesterday, and that He shall be forever and a day. So, in other words, it’s pretty obvious, that it’s not Him that’s going to ever be changing! Therefore, as it was for the people of Papa God that day, when He had Moses repeat the edict of The LORD to them, so it is, for the people of Papa God today. The spiritual principle has not changed; for with obedience comes blessings and benefits, and with disobedience comes curses and consequences. As it was then, it still remains today; a choice between life eternal, living in the joyful presence of Papa God, or everlasting damnation, death and eternal separation from the magnificent glorious presence of Papa God! Let’s choose life! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 01/04- “To Love Papa God And To Love Others—The Basic Essentials For All Believers/Followers Of, The LORD GOD Almighty!” (Matthew 22:37-39)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/04- “To Love Papa God And To Love Others—The Basic Essentials For All Believers/Followers Of, The LORD GOD Almighty!” (Matthew 22:37-39)

Premise Question: Why is how we love Papa God and the way we love others, so significant and such a big deal?

Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭37-39‬ NLT)

In response, to the (designed to trap) question from the recognized and known expert of the law, Jesus’ comeback was quite clear, concise and direct. He left no room whatsoever, to it merely being an option or just a strong suggestion, when He declared, “you must love The LORD GOD Almighty passionately, not with just a part of, but with your whole heart, and your whole soul; which should desire, thirst and yearn only for Him. And furthermore, you should also honor, love and revere Him, with all of your thoughts and all of your intellect! Now, this is just the first and foremost part of the most important commandment. The second part, which is just as significant and goes right along with the first part, is to look at your fellow humankind, as close neighbors and then, you are to love them as much, if not even more, than you love yourselves.” (Matthew 22:37-39 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Verse 40 of this passage answers the Premise Question. “The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭40‬ NLT)

We then, as believers/followers of Christ, must stop isolating, insulating or alienating ourselves from our neighbors, our fellow humankind!
Many do not even know or begin to associate with their neighbors! Very sad, but true, all too often. We must be willing to extend ourselves beyond our comfort and convenient zones and all other barriers of race, culture, class, fences, burgs, pain, non-forgiveness, anger, resentment, wounds, bitterness, disappointment, trauma, death, divorce, unfulfilled expectations, sickness, depression, traditions, experiences, pop-culture, what’s popular or not! We must break through all barriers, for the sake of the Cross! Papa God Himself, is our ultimate example, as He reached across the barriers of time, space, sin, depravity and rebellion, to connect with us, His creation, displaying His love for us, His neighbors, by giving us His best, (His Son) when we were at our worst! The only way to ever effectively reach our neighbors, is to love them as ourselves! Now this may actually be a problem for some of us though, because, in fact, some do not love themselves very much! Therefore, they do end up loving their neighbors as themselves, which is not very much or a very pretty sight! This, could pose a major issue, so let’s love our neighbors, as Papa God, The LORD GOD Almighty loves us and then, laid His life down for us, to prove and authentic His love for us, and all for our benefit!

It’s not enough to serve or love with just your hands or lips, but we need to also serve and love with our whole heart! When we love Papa God with our whole heart, mind and soul, and love our neighbors, as ourselves, in the same way that Papa God loves us, we will fulfill the greatest and most significantly important commandments of The LORD GOD Almighty; and in so doing, shall keep both sides of The Sword of The Spirit sharp and ready for all that this life may present and offer, as a challenge to our faith!

As Papa God is our Good Neighbor, let us be a good neighbor to the rest of humankind! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 12/17/15- “I’m All In, With My Whole Heart!” (Psalms 119:10)

Premise Question: What place, position, preeminence and precedence should seeking, serving and worshipping The LORD have, be and take in our lives?

“I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands.”
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

I, therefore, completely surrender my entire being, not holding anything back or in reserve, but with a deliberate diligence, abandon myself wholeheartedly, to serving and worshiping You alone, The One True Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty; so, my dear LORD GOD Almighty, I urgently and with a sincere heart, humbly request that You help me, by keeping me from ever deviating, stumbling or leaving Your righteous path, that You, O LORD, have clearly marked and paved, with Your life giving, sustaining and preserving commandments, for my life. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 09/23/15- “Don’t Be A ‘Put On,’ But ‘Put On,’ All Of These Attributes!” (Colossians 3:12)

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/23/15- “Don’t Be A ‘Put On,’ But ‘Put On,’ All Of These Attributes!” (Colossians 3:12)

Premise Question: Did Papa God choose us because we are a righteous, holy and pure people, or did He choose us because He loves us and desires that we become a righteous, holy and pure people, with His divine help and through His gracious provision of His Son, our redeeming LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ?

“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” (‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Therefore, since you’ve been divinely selected, because of The LORD God Almighty being favorably inclined towards you, to be one of His very own devout and cherished family members, of The Company of The Redeemed; you must make sure you are always clad appropriately, with these vitally important attributes, wearing them at all times, for all to see and personally experience. Now, regarding all of these attributes, don’t just be a “put on,” but actually put them on! Put on compassion, being moved to action, with sympathy, becoming empathetic towards others plight, by doing something that will really offer them the help needed, in order to alleviate their condition. Put on kindness, exhibiting kind benevolent favor, that’s thoughtful, helpful and cordial. Put on humility, not elevating yourself, by thinking you are superior or above others. Put on gentleness, always displaying a meek, mild and calm disposition and manner towards others. And finally, put on patience, by showing great restraint and self-control, choosing to learn and train yourself not to be reactionary, but responsive, not hot headed, but even tempered, persistent, long suffering and that, without any grumbling or complaint. (Colossians 3:12 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Oh what joy and pure delight, with an absolute certitude and a wholehearted gratitude, that’s full of exuberant rejoicing and thoughtful thanksgiving, being lifted up continually unto Papa God, His Son and The Holy Spirit, who is The King Eternal, The LORD of all, The One True and Faithful Sovereign LORD God Almighty, The Maker of Heaven and earth and everything therein, The One who comforts, heals and restores, forgives and renews, and The One who chooses and loves and gives us an abundant new life, and that, forevermore. He is The One who, with His divine enabling, asks us to clothe ourselves, each and everyday, with His divine, yet quite practical, as well as, being extremely beneficial, attributes of The LORD. He greatly desires that we be very tenderhearted, showing mercy and compassion, with great affection and benevolence, towards others. Papa God wants us to be kind to one another and others, being gracious, showing favor and generosity towards others. It is of the utmost importance that we clothe ourselves in humility, walking and comporting ourselves in lowliness and exhibiting meekness towards others. Our attitude and approach towards others, should always be characterized as being gentle, amiable and with much caring and real concern. And finally, we must exhibit the divine and unique quality of being patient, having a huge reservoir, full to overflowing, of patience, calmness, steady composure, long suffering and forbearance. So, don’t be a “Put On,” but, “Put On” all the attributes of The LORD! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 09/05/15- “If We Do Our Part, Papa God Will Absolutely Do His!”(Leviticus 19:18)

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/05/15- “If We Do Our Part, Papa God Will Absolutely Do His!” (Leviticus 19:18)

Premise Question: What is our part, our duty to perform, our responsibility to fulfill, our attitude, approach and behavior to exhibit and have towards others, no matter what; and, if we are able to do this, with The LORD’S help, what does Papa God say He will definitely do, as His part, if we will do our part?

““Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.” ‭‭(Leviticus‬ ‭19:18‬ ‭NLT‬)

Do not search for ways, by trying to discover or devise a plan to retaliate and repay someone, in order to exact punishment, in a vindictive or vengeful way upon them, nor should you ever, for any reason or justification, continue to tolerate carrying or holding, in yourself, ill will and burdensome feelings of resentment and bitterness towards others; but, choose to walk in release and love towards everyone and treat others as you yourself desire to be treated, and don’t forget to always leave room for Me, Papa God, to act upon your behalf. I Am, The LORD God Almighty, who made you. (Leviticus 19:18 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Our part is a deliberate and perhaps, for some, even an extremely difficult choice; especially if one attempts to do it on their own and in their own strength, without relying upon the enabling help of The LORD. We must choose to walk in release towards others, by forgiving them and then, letting go of the pain and choosing to hold onto the promise given to us in Papa God’s Holy Writ! Our duty and responsibility is to love Papa God, walk in His love and release and then love others in the same way that He loves and forgives us. Our approach should be one of humility, patience and long suffering, and also, that we fully accept and recognize that we can’t do this on our own! Our attitude should be a gentle, meek, kind and forbearing one, without holding or bearing a grudge, being vindictive, bitter, resentful, hateful or seeking a way of exacting revenge and getting even, by retaliating and attempting to settle a score ourselves. We are to bear with one another, but we ought not to be an angry bear, with each other! Be bearable, not unbearable! So, what is our part? “To do what is right, to love mercy and to walk humbly before Papa God!” (Micah 6:8)

Papa God’s part, which He will certainly be faithful to do and accomplish, is to rescue, restore, renew, and redeem His very own, and then, He will surely deliver His vengeance upon any and all those who’ve hurt, attacked or in some way, come against His precious and greatly beloved very own children! The LORD will repay! The LORD will avenge! The LORD will carry out His retribution and perfect judgements, done in a way, fashion and manner that is far beyond any way or thing that we could ever imagine or even ever be capable of carrying out! And besides, we are to forgive, release and ask The LORD to be merciful upon them, not asking Him to go and “get em” and to “get em” real good!

So, if we do our part, Papa God will most definitely and most thoroughly absolutely do His part! Blessings…
