Compassion
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 09/23- “Don’t Be A ‘Put On’! —But Do ‘Put On’ All Of These Attributes!” (Colossians 3:12)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/23- “Don’t Be A ‘Put On’! —But Do ‘Put On’ All Of These Attributes!” (Colossians 3:12)
Premise Question: Did Papa God choose us because we are a righteous, holy and pure people, or did He choose us because He loves us and desires that we become a righteous, holy and pure people; with His divine help and through His gracious provision of His Son—our redeeming LORD and Savior— Jesus Christ?
“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” (Colossians 3:12 NLT)
Therefore, since you’ve been divinely selected, because of The LORD GOD Almighty being favorably inclined towards you, to be one of His very own devout and cherished family members, of The Company of The Redeemed, you must make sure you are always clad appropriately, with these vitally important attributes, wearing them at all times, for all to see and personally experience. Now, regarding all of these attributes, don’t just be a “put on,” but actually put them on! Put on compassion, being moved to action, with sympathy, becoming empathetic towards others plight, by doing something that will really offer them the help needed, in order to alleviate their condition. Put on kindness, exhibiting kind benevolent favor, that’s thoughtful, helpful and cordial. Put on humility, not elevating yourself, by thinking you are superior or above others. Put on gentleness, always displaying a meek, mild and calm disposition and manner towards others. And finally, put on patience, by showing great restraint and self-control, choosing to learn and train yourself not to be reactionary, but responsive. Not hot headed, but even tempered, persistent, long suffering, and that, without any grumbling or complaint. (Colossians 3:12 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Oh what joy and pure delight, with an absolute certitude and a wholehearted gratitude, that’s full of exuberant rejoicing and thoughtful thanksgiving, being lifted up continually unto Papa God, His Son and The Holy Spirit, who is The King Eternal, The LORD of all, The One True and Faithful Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, who is The Maker of Heaven and earth and everything therein, and is The One who comforts, heals and restores, forgives and renews, and The One who chooses and loves, and gives us an abundant new life, and that, forevermore.
He is The One who, with His divine enabling, asks us to clothe ourselves, each and everyday, with His divine, yet quite practical, as well as, being extremely beneficial, attributes of The LORD.
He greatly desires that we be very tenderhearted, showing mercy and compassion, with great affection and benevolence, towards others. Papa God wants us to be kind to one another and others, being gracious, showing favor and generosity towards others.
It is of the utmost importance that we clothe ourselves in humility, walking and comporting ourselves in lowliness and exhibiting meekness towards others.
Our attitude and approach towards others, should always be characterized as being gentle, amiable and with much caring and real concern.
And finally, we must exhibit the divine and unique quality of being patient, having a huge reservoir, full to overflowing, of patience, calmness, steady composure, long suffering and forbearance.
So, don’t be a “Put On,” but, “Put On” all these attributes of The LORD! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/09- “Papa God’s Divine Purpose And Plan Is Revealed!” (2 Timothy 1:9)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/09- “Papa God’s Divine Purpose And Plan Is Revealed!” (2 Timothy 1:9)
Premise Question: Accepting the fact that Papa God sees the end all the way back to even before the beginning of time, and, that He, The Supreme Creator of everything, including time, as He is outside of time looking in on His unique creation, humankind—who by the way, He says that he knew intimately, each and every one of them, even before any of them were born into this world; just what kind of attitude, response and expressions should each individual, who has fully experienced Papa God’s wonderful and most undeserved gracious favor in their individual lives, through having an out in the open, unashamed and without fear, personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ, exhibit towards Papa God?
“For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.” (2 Timothy 1:9 NLT)
Before time ever began,
The Almighty’s grace was to be sown,
For Papa God had already put into place His divine purpose and plan,
Of saving and raising up His own,
The Company of The Redeemed,
Who are called to a life of holy living,
Through His Son Jesus Christ, who is most highly esteemed,
On display, His grace that never stops giving,
Not for work that we have done,
For what was done for us is undeserved,
Our ultimate victory He, The LORD, has won,
So that for all eternity we are forever preserved. (2 Timothy 1:9 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Here is my attitude, response and expressions, O LORD:
My attitude and demeanor towards You, O LORD, is genuinely sincere and august, but with a rejoicing spirit and positive outlook, for my devotion is to You and only You, O LORD! It is with my whole heart, that I have an attitude of gratitude, a disposition and posture is one of being filled with hopeful expectations and heartfelt thanksgiving.
My response to You O LORD is: everything that is within me, holding nothing back in reserve, but with my whole heart, my mind and body, including my lips, my voice, my hands, arms, feet, my talents, abilities and gifts and all my strength, I humbly bow before You, as Your beloved and greatly blessed servant, and I fully acknowledge You as The One True Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty—The Redeemer and Savior of humankind, of which I am one, who having personally surrendered to You and Your unfailing love, am now, therefore, experiencing Your marvelous grace, matchless mercy and fabulous favor, in full measure, because my whole life is now Yours.
My expressions are daily expressions of reverence, praise and honor, acts of devotion and divine acts of spiritual worship, with huge declarations and proclamations, announcing to the world and everyone in the whole earth, with words, acts, deeds and behaviors, that will clearly tell and put on display, for all the whole world to see, know and be made aware of Your glorious grace and mighty acts! This is where I start, and what I do!
I therefore, strongly implore and encourage each of you that happens to read this, to consider doing likewise, for it shall bring you great joy and wonderful benefits. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/04- “Have Mercy On Me, Papa God!” (Psalms 51:1-2)
Premise Question: Why would Papa God ever entertain hearing our request for mercy or even seriously consider answering our desperation call to be made clean and pure, by removing all our disgusting sin, stigma of guilt and every one of our transgressions of His Holy Law?
Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. (Psalms 51:1-2 NLT)
Almighty Papa God, The Supreme Sovereign Creator of Heaven and earth, I humbly request that Your kind benevolent forbearance and divine gracious favor be shown towards me, the offender of Your Holy Law. May Your magnanimous mercy be fully consistent with Your inexhaustible, absolutely dependable, never failing, endless love, and that it be in complete agreement with Your remarkable, exceptionally deep empathy and compassion for me; having a strong desire to alleviate completely my desperation, by obliterating and wiping out all of my reproach and disgrace, removing every violation of Your Holy Law. Purge and purify me, taking away entirely, out of existence, every last bit of my wickedness, making me thoroughly clean and spotless of all evil, by removing every one of my transgressions of Your Righteous Law from my life. (Psalm 51:1-2 PDCP)
Bottom Line: How great is Papa God’s unfailing love, His constant care and concern, His depth of enduring compassion for us, His unique and special creation—humankind; for it is way beyond description or compare.
We were in His thoughts and heart even before we were formed in our mother’s womb.
He was well acquainted with us, having a strong inclination and affinity for us, knowing us intimately, every part of us in every way.
It is because of His great love and affection, His strong and not to be denied intent and inclination, as well as His unyielding affinity that He has for us, that He not only hears us, but also responds to our humble and contrite requests, by answering and fulfilling our greatest need; which is to be restored and reconciled back to Him in right relationship and sweet fellowship; being forgiven of all of our sin, having all of our guilt and shame, as well as, having every one of our transgressions of His Holy and most Righteous Law removed from our lives.
He, Papa God, has provided us with the perfect solution to our condition and problem; our irreconcilable differences, our irreparable and irretrievable situation, our indefensible, impossible to resolve and absolve circumstances.
Because Papa God, in His great love, mercy and grace, gave us total resolution and complete absolution, through the sacrifice of His Son upon the cross, for all those who choose to believe and receive His perfect answer and resolve; which solves our greatest problem and need, by absolving us of all our sin, guilt and transgressions, with great efficiency, He thus, has sufficiently removed our deficiency, with His unfailing love, mercy and grace. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 05/03- “Always Remember To Take The Time!” (Hebrews 13:16)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/03- “Always Remember To Take The Time!” (Hebrews 13:16)
Premise Question: Do we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, honor and fulfill our sacred duty, by always remembering and never neglecting, to take the time to be kind and good toward others, as well as, by sharing the love of Jesus with them and by remembering to give generously to those who are experiencing difficult and challenging times, and are therefore, in desperate straights, without the sufficient help that’s required to meet their needs, as they anxiously await to receive some relief?
And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God. (Hebrews 13:16 NLT)
No matter how busy, hectic or trying life may get, we, who are members of The Company of The Redeemed, should always remember and never neglect, to take the time to show kindness and compassion, with great generosity, towards those who are in need—sharing our life and substance with them freely. For these are the real expressions of giving, with which, Papa God is most pleased! (Hebrews 13:16 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Do we ever get so caught up in our own lives, in the vicissitudes of life, with the varying ebbs and flow, that we either fail to remember or just outright neglect to honor and fulfill the sacred trust and duty given to us, by The LORD, to be genuinely kind, compassionate and good towards others, to share Jesus with them and to make sure we offer our help and substance during their time of need? Or, do we make excuses, justifications or rationalizations for why we are not fulfilling our clearly delineated sacred trust and duty to others?
Perhaps we’ve been wont to utilize some of these old and customary responses: “I just don’t feel lead!” “It’s not my calling or ministry!” “I don’t have that gift!” “I’m not qualified!” “I don’t have the resources!” “I’m fearful and frightened to do it!” “I’m unaware and don’t know anyone with those needs!” “I don’t live in that area!” “Let someone else do it!” “Isn’t someone else already doing it?” “I wouldn’t want to step on anyone’s toes!” “I don’t have anything to offer!” “Out of sight, out of mind!” So many excuses, justifications and rationalizations, these are just, but a smattering few.
Everyone who is a member of The Company of The Redeemed has been called to fulfill and satisfy this sacred trust and duty, in some way or manner and in some degree!
Something I’ve heard a very wise woman of Papa God say on numerous occasions, who heard some other wise woman of Papa God say is: “Stop making excuses and start making arrangements!” I’m not going to list all the different ways and opportunities that we are given, continually, to do good to and for others and to share Jesus with them and then, to also meet their needs, but, I will say this: Always remember to take the time to give to those who are waiting to receive! And, don’t ever forget or neglect, to be a veritable encouraging, satisfying blessing of refreshing to others, and in so doing, you will be most pleasing to your Papa God! Blessing…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 04/25- “Mother Mary, Aunt Mary And, Friend And Follower Mary!” (John 19:25)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 04/25- “Mother Mary, Aunt Mary And, Friend And Follower Mary!” (John 19:25)
Premise Question: What is the message of hope and strong source of strength, with the much needed and appropriate help, for what we may have to face or go through, at any moment and time, in our lives, that we can extrapolate and draw, from the picture that’s being painted, with words for us, here in this passage of scripture?
Standing near the cross were Jesus’ mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary (the wife of Clopas), and Mary Magdalene. (John 19:25 NLT)
Standing together at the base of the cross, huddled close, while holding onto each other tightly and supporting one another, as they looked up at Jesus hanging there on His cross, were His Mother Mary, His Aunt Mary and His friend and follower, Mary of Magdala. (John 19:25 PDCP)
Bottom Line: There are going to be times and occasions, where we ourselves or those that we are close to, are going to experience great times of stress, hardships, difficult and hard to comprehend situations and circumstances, trials and turmoil, sickness and affliction, broken relationships, being wounded, with emotional, mental or physical pain, disappointments, and even perhaps an untimely or totally unexpected death, in its various forms and ways. During any and all of those experiences and times, we may not have the perfect resolve or answer, but what we do have, is each other; therefore, we can, should and must be there for each other—on every occasion that comes along, supporting and encouraging one another with comfort, peace and strength, while exhibiting hope and giving our help and love in the practical and appropriate ways that we have the ability to do so. Just being there with and for each other, availing and travailing, by making ourselves available, as a true loving and deeply moved and concerned friend, who will come alongside, to be comforting, supporting, bearing each other up and undergirding one another during those truly difficult times, is absolutely vital, as well as necessary. Not to mention, that we now have The Great Comforter, to bring the comforting help and support necessary and needed, to each other, through each other, for each other! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/07- “We Are Comforted, So That We Can Comfort Others!” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/07- “We Are Comforted, So That We Can Comfort Others!” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
Premise Question: Is it possible to comfort others, who are going through tremendous trials, troubles, torment and great suffering, with the comfort of Papa God, without having first experienced His all sufficient comfort in our own disturbingly difficult, distressing and trying times, life?
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NLT)
Every expression of approval, acclaim, accolade or laudation, should all be given to Papa God, The One True Sovereign Almighty God, who is The Father of our most precious LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is He, who is the fountainhead and wellspring of all reassuring, consoling comfort; sharing with us His generous grace, while showing us His magnanimous mercy. He does this, by bringing relief and solace to us, in the midst of our own troubling vexations, which then enables us to have the needed wherewithal, to help others in their difficult and trying times; for when they are overwhelmed, by the trials and vicissitudes of this life, we will have the capacity to be ready, willing and able, to administer the identical comfort and help, from Papa God, that we received and experienced in our own challenging and difficult times.
(2 Corinthians 1:3-4 PDCP)
Bottom Line: There’s a song, from a number of years ago, written by the wonderful song writer and precious minister of The LORD, Andre Crouch, entitled, “Through It All.” I believe the lyrics give us insight into the answer to the Premise Question. Here is a couple of partial examples, from that song.
#1) “But in every situation, God gave me blessed consolation, that my trials come only to make me strong.” #2) “For if I’d never had a problem, I wouldn’t know God could solve them, I’d never know what faith in God could do!”
So, perhaps Papa God permits and allows us to go through some of our own difficult trials, for a number of specific reasons. One would be that we might personally experience His all sufficient, reassuring, consoling comfort and peace. Two would be, so that we would then have the capacity to not only be absolutely certain about Papa God’s great comfort, but also have an authentic compassion for others, in what they are going through, as well as having the ability to do something about it, by bringing the same love, mercy, grace and comforting, all surpassing compassion, to bear into their lives in the exact same way. So, in answer to the Premise Question…”Nope” not possible! Why, because we are comforted so that we can comfort others, with the same comfort we were comforted with! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 01/20- “Love My Enemies? Loan Them Money Without Expectation Of Being Paid Back, And With Compassion? Wow!” (Luke 6:35-36)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/20- “Love My Enemies? Loan Them Money Without Expectation Of Being Paid Back, And With Compassion? Wow!” (Luke 6:35-36)
Premise Question: Is the reward from Heaven, the one that’s given to those who do what The LORD requests, not just suggests, of them to do, when considering how to deal with and treat their enemies, enough, and worth the trouble, testing, trials and tumult, that they may have to endure and go through, when choosing to show love and compassion, in spite of all the difficulties, toward their enemies?
“Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. (Luke 6:35-36 NLT)
You have enemies? Everyone does! They may be individuals you’ve been close to in the past, but because of entanglements, misunderstandings, unfulfilled expectations, hurtful words, actions or behaviors, that has now resulted in estrangement, from one another. Your fault, their fault, somebody else’s fault, does it really matter? No, not a bit, when it comes to how The LORD desires for us to treat our enemies. Treat them with kindness and humility. Giving to them when they are in need; doing kind acts of generosity, without any expectation of getting anything in return. For when you choose, and are able to do this, with The LORD’S enabling, of course, you qualify yourself for a reward and recognition from Heaven that is far beyond your imagination and comprehension. And, you will be showing everyone, that you are acting just like a child of The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, Whom, by the way, is continuously showing His gracious favor and kindness to those who are forever ungrateful and utterly incorrigible. You, a member in good standing of The Company of The Redeemed, must take your lead from Papa God, which is: to be as compassionate as He always is towards others, even your enemies. (Luke 6:35-36 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Yes! The reward from Heaven is more than enough and worth every difficult person and difficulty we may encounter or have to endure. For all of Papa God’s promises are faithful and true! If we do what He has asked us to do, then He will do exactly as He says, and what He promises, He will do! And that, for our ultimate good and benefit! He will reward, He will restore, He will redeem, He will renew, He will refresh, He will reclaim, He will reconcile, He will regenerate, He will reveal, He will rejoice and sing over us, for we are His children, the children of The Most High! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/24/15- “Obey “THIS” Law! Servants Of The Most High!” (Galatians 6:2)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/24/15- “Obey “THIS” law! Servants Of The Most High.” (Galatians 6:2)
Premise Question: What is, “THIS” law, and why is all the focus specifically on, “THIS” law?
Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.
(Galatians 6:2 NLT)
Help those who’ve been waylaid by the vicissitudes of life or even their own faults, missteps or misgivings, by offering to assist them, with a helping hand and the love, comfort and compassion of The LORD; in so doing, you will show that you are allowing The Law of Christ to control you, in the way and manner, in which, you respond to those who are experiencing difficulties, in their lives. (Galatians 6:2 PDCP)
Bottom Line: What is, “THIS” law? It is the law of love, hope and compassion, The Law of Christ; which is, to show His love, hope and compassion, with gentleness and long suffering, toward others, by expressing His love, hope and compassion, in acts of kindness, and service toward those who are experiencing difficult circumstances and times, in their lives, suffering with afflictions, being overwhelmed with anxiety, misfortune, or may have even been overcome by a moral failure, their own faults or some hardship. And, why all the focus on “THIS” specific law? Because if we are not fulfilling “THIS” law, The Law of Christ, then, nothing else matters and we end of being cursed by not fulfilling “THIS” law of love, hope and compassion, The Law of Christ! For when all is said and done, the only thing that really matters, is our faith in Christ expressing itself in love, hope and compassion, in helping and serving others! (Galatians 1:10, 5:6b, 14, 2:16c) Blessings…
