SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 12/01- “Time To Buck Up, Soul!” (Psalms 42:11)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 12/01- “Time To Buck Up, Soul!” (Psalms 42:11)

Premise Question: Should we really attempt to have a serious conversation with our own soul, when we are down and out, discouraged and disturbed?

“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭42:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Why, O my soul, and for what earthly reason could there ever be an occasion, on which I would ever allow you to stay in a state of despondency; spiraling downward, feeling dejected, disheartened and depressed? Why, O my soul, would you perpetually be distressed, disrupted and disturbed deep within the within of my inmost being; in disharmony and in complete disarray? Listen up, here’s what you should immediately do, O my soul, because it’s what I’m going to do whether you want or are even ready for me to do so! I firmly put, I resolutely place, I fasten tightly, my complete hope, faith and trust, in and upon The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty! I determinedly do this right now, by worshiping, with exuberant and joyful praise, The LORD GOD Almighty, my Redeemer and my most merciful, loving and full of gracious favor, Papa God! (Psalms 42:11 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Yes! We need to have a serious conversation with our soul, expressing to our soul, that no matter what is going on in our life, there is nothing in this world that we should fear or be worried about. For He, The LORD Himself, will quiet and put us at perfect peace, deep within the within of the inmost part of our being.

And, He, and He alone, is able to truly satisfy the hunger, quench the thirst and fulfill the deepest yearnings, longings and desires of our souls!

It’s time, children of Papa God, to tell our souls to buck up! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/02- “We Find Refreshing Rest In Him!” (Psalms 46:10)

Premise Question: What does it truly mean, for the people of Papa God, to be still and know, that He is The Great I Am—The Most High, Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty?

“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”‭‭ (Psalms‬ ‭46:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Be strengthened, encouraged and uplifted, with full assurance, by the reality of who it is that says, “Cease and desist from all your laborious activity and worrisome thoughts. Pause and reflect, resting in My tranquil serenity and peaceful presence. Comprehend and then, apprehend, by possessing fully, this wonderful knowledge, that, I Am The LORD GOD Almighty. Therefore, because I Am The LORD GOD Almighty, I will be lifted up to the highest place of praise and honor, in the midst of every tribe, tongue, kindred and creed. I will be extolled and worshiped, by all the nations that inhabit and live in the earth, which I love and created with My spoken Word.” (Psalms 46:10 PDCP)

Bottom Line: To be still and know that Papa God is The Great I Am, is to fully accept and recognize Him as The LORD of Heaven’s Armies; the One who is our refuge and strength, and is ever ready, at a moments notice, to bring protection, deliverance, joy, healing and help, for His own.

So, there is never a reason or instance to fear or be frightened; no matter what may be going on in our life, the life of the nation or even the world.

Who He is and what He wants to be to each of us, as well as, do for every beloved individual person in His creation, is to have a personal and intimate relationship, with each person, setting them free, by releasing them from captivity and the bondage of sin; so that, we can truly worship, honor and praise Him in Spirit and in Truth.

So, when we are still, and really know Papa God, we have accepted, as factual and true, who Papa God truly is; and therefore, will remain calm, cool and collected, even in the midst of a terrible storm, outrageous chaos and great turmoil! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/08- “Make Sure You Are Ready And Equipped!” (1 Peter 3:14b-15)

Premise Question: Why is it so vitally important, with tremendous significance attached to it, that we, each and every member of The Company of The Redeemed, live our lives before others, without worry or fear, and that we are always, at the ready, equipped and fully prepared, to give a quick and cogent response to anyone who may ask us why we are so joyful and why we have such a hopeful outlook on life, now and even into the distant future?

“So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.” (‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3:14b-15‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Do not ever allow the threats being directed towards you, by your enemy, to foment worry and fear, to the point of being frightened into a state of paralysis of thought and inactivity. Rather though, continue to trust The LORD for your safety, while acknowledging, with a Holy reverent worship, at the very core and the inmost part of your being, Jesus Christ, as LORD and Savior. On every occasion and circumstance, without exception, make sure you are ready, being properly prepared and thoroughly equipped, to deliver, in a cogent, quick and simple manner, an appropriate response and answer, to anyone, anywhere, anytime, all the time, meaning absolutely everyone, who may request of you a basis and justification for why you are so obviously filled with joy and such an expectant hope; for not only the here and now, but into the future, as well. Be very careful though, showing extreme consideration, remembering to be polite, gentle and kind, always showing the greatest amount of esteem, honor and respect towards them, while engaging and interacting with them. (1 Peter 3:14b-15 PDCP)

Bottom Line: The LORD has given us clear and concise instructions, commands, exhortations and encouragements, in His Word, to not be fearful, fretful, afraid, troubled, moved by threats, no matter the threat level, but to always stand firm, without wavering, upon our faith and our trust that we’ve placed in, and fully surrendered to The LORD.

We are also commanded not to ever allow anything to dissuade, dismay or discourage us from doing the work of spreading the Good News, among and with those that we’re given the divine opportunity to do so; being ever ready, prepared, rehearsed and fully equipped, to share our own personal story, in a simple, quick, clear and concise, cogent way and manner.

We, as believers, who are members of The Company of The Redeemed, should make it our priority to be able to answer cogently and explain quickly and simply, to anyone who may ask us why we are the way we are; which should absolutely be, that we are full of joy, hope, compassion, generosity, patience, encouragement and are refreshing to be around!

Others should see us openly, unashamedly and unabashedly, worshiping The LORD in every area and part of our lives; honoring Him above everything and all others.

We should each, therefore, develop and hone our own convincingly persuasive and believable personal story, (no embellishment needed or necessary, just the wonderful truth) of how we came to know and accept The LORD Jesus Christ into our lives; sharing who we were before we knew Him, explaining how, when and why we accepted Him as LORD and Savior and then, telling those who may ask or inquire, with great enthusiasm and joy, what has happened and transpired in our lives since we first believed. When we faithfully and consistently do this, then, as a direct result, we will grow, mature and flourish, in our personal relationship with The LORD.

Make sure you are ready, prepared and equipped, with the Good News and your own personal story, to give to anyone and everyone, at a moments notice, the reason why you are so hopeful and full of joy! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 07/25- “The Search For Authenticity—Let Papa God Be The Final Arbiter!” (Psalm 139:23-24)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 07/25- “The Search For Authenticity—Let Papa God Be The Final Arbiter!” (Psalm 139:23-24)

Premise Question: Is it ever a good idea or does it ever work out to our own advantage or benefit, when we try to manage, hold things back or keep things in our lives hidden away from others and The LORD?

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:23-24‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Thoroughly examine and scrutinize me, Sovereign Almighty Papa God, and know with certainty and a clear perception, completely understanding the very core of who I am at the innermost part of my being, the seat of my emotions; test and try me, in order to determine and evaluate my authenticity and genuineness, and clearly discern my mental anguish, as I am afflicted with great distress and concern. Perceive whether there be any displeasing, rebellious, insolent, unpleasant, disagreeable or repugnant manner, unacceptable attitude or inappropriate behavior in me; for I fully surrender myself to Your leadership, Your purpose and perfect will for my life, being confidently assured that You shall guide and direct my path upon the everlasting divine way of Your eternal truth and life. (Psalm 139:23-24 PDCP)

Bottom Line: We don’t ever really gain any kind of edge, benefit or advantage when we, on our own, try to just manage our sin, our challenges and issues going on in our lives, by keeping things hidden in compartments of our lives, away from the view and knowledge of others, under lock, chains and keys of secrecy. For all that we end up accomplishing, is a self-imposed incarceration of being held captive in a prison of our own doing and our own mind! We will never truly be successful in trying to keep those things under wraps, as they eventually become unmanageable and begin to come apart at the seams, unravelling at an alarming rate, completely out of our’s or anyone else’s control, save The LORD’S! That’s why it is so vitally important to be open, transparent and accountable to The LORD, and others, by confessing our sins, faults, mistakes, misgivings and failings with those, who also confess their own sin, challenges and issues with The LORD and others.

The LORD doesn’t need us to tell Him what’s going on in our lives, even the parts we think are hidden and buried deep, within our within, with a no access or trespassing sign posted, a gate and huge lock and chain on it! For in The LORD’S case, it’s completely impossible to keep anything hidden away from His view or knowledge, as He sees all, hears all and is fully aware of all, at all times, on all occasions, as nothing ever escapes His omniscience.

Papa God wants us to be open and transparent with Him, because it is what we need and should do, in order to come clean, be made clean and have the ability to have a just, right, satisfying and fulfilling, authentic, intimate, personal relationship with Papa God; as this will work to our greatest advantage and extreme benefit in every area and compartment of our lives.

So, in our search for authenticity, validation and acceptance, let Papa God be the final arbiter of everything in our lives, as He will always faithfully lead and guide us upon the path of eternal truth, life, with complete joy and perfect bliss. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/23- “We Are The Victors!” (Romans 8:37)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/23- “We Are The Victors!” (Romans 8:37)

Premise Question: Against all odds, and notwithstanding, given the amount of severe and calamitous events and circumstances that many, if not all of us, may have to endure, when being confronted, face to face, with the hardships and difficult challenges that come our way, in this life; how is it even remotely possible, that we would ever be crowned the undisputed, overwhelmingly victorious victors, and personally experience this outrageously, over the top, being unimaginable and unthinkable, absolutely stunning and decisive, one for the ages, victory, over it all?

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭37‬ NLT)

There’s not a trouble or trial, nor a persecution, with threat of execution, whether we’re hunted or hungry, destitute or in constant danger; none of these difficulties or challenges will ever keep us from the overwhelming and complete victory that is assured for those who have placed their complete trust, faith and hope in Jesus Christ; who by laying down His life, as a ransom and perfect sacrifice, in our stead, has shown His great unfailing love toward us, thus making us “The Victors”—through Him. (Romans 8:37 PDCP)

Bottom Line: We, every member of The Company of The Redeemed, are declared “The Victors,” because of the work done in Heaven and on earth, upon the cross and then in the grave and beyond, by Papa God and His Son, our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ.

For He and He alone, has defeated the evil one, the enemy of our soul, our sin, death, hell and the grave; therefore, He is our Champion, The One who gives us the victory, and thereby, has made us to be the conquering victors for all of eternity.

Like His word tells us: There’s not anything in this world or out of this world, that can separate us from Him and His great love for us! Even if we suffer or experience calamity, difficult times, trouble, trials or tribulations, in this life, none of it is ever an indicator or sign that He no longer loves us, or that His love for us has diminished in any way, shape, form or fashion.

Some of us may even experience the threat of death and even further still, some may even be slaughtered and killed for their faith! But, thanks be to Papa God, that in all and through all of this, we are made “The Victors” and shall triumph over all, through Christ Jesus our LORD!

Just remember the words of the Apostle Paul: And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭17‬ NLT) Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/05- “Run Your Race With Dogged Determination!” (Hebrews 12:1b-2)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/05- “Run Your Race With Dogged Determination!” (Hebrews 12:1b-2)

Premise Question: How are we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, supposed to approach the race we’ve each been given to run in this life, how are we to run the race we’ve each been given in this life and finally, how are we to finish the race we’ve each been given to run in this life?

And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
(‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1b-2 NLT)

Be doggedly determined, while running the race of your life; proceeding with a sense of urgency, persistently steady, regardless of the obstacles or challenges you encounter along the course and path that’s been clearly marked out for you to follow. Refuse to acknowledge anyone or anything else that would distract you and take you off course and path, in your race. Always remain focused, with your eyes gazing intently only upon our Victor, The Savior of humankind—Jesus Christ, who is the first, the pathfinder, The One who forged a new path, by entering and clearing the way for all of us to enter into a new faith that is without any flaws, entirely faultless and beyond any improvement, being that it is entirely perfect. It was because of the exhilarating extreme joyful delight that was presented to Jesus, by Papa God, His Father, namely, the deliverance and salvation of the whole of humankind, that He willingly yielded to the abject, contemptible disdain and the disgracefully painful ignominy of the cruel cross. Following this, though, Jesus sat down in the most highly exalted, most honored and His rightful place, seated right next to His Father, The Sovereign Almighty Papa God, upon His eternal throne. (Hebrews 12:1b, 2 PDCP)

Bottom Line: We, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, are to approach our individual race with an attitude of humility, awe, having hopeful expectations, with great excitement, along with a joyful enthusiasm.

We should devote our lives to running well, always looking up, not down, moving and pressing forward, looking ahead, not behind.

We are to run our individual race, with a dogged determination, completely resolute and tenacious while running in our race. Refusing to quit, never giving in to the pressures, temptations and vicissitudes of life, but always relying on the leading, guiding and empowering of The LORD’S Holy Spirit.

And, perhaps, when on an occasion we are distracted by something or someone, causing us to stumble and fall by the wayside; then, we must not allow ourselves to stay down on the ground, just laying around, on our path and course, stewing and wallowing in defeat, shame and ignominy, just waiting, and at times, even wanting to die. But, we must arise, get up, repent and begin again! Remembering that as long as we are still here, there is still something we’ve not done; and so, we must finish the race we’ve been give to run and complete.

Speaking of finishing: We are to finish strong the race we’ve been given to run, in this life! We may not be able to run as fast as we once did, when we were younger, but we can still choose to sprint to the finish line and lean into the tape at the end with a flourish!

Then, we will hear these words from our LORD: “Well done! Way to go! You ran great, my faithful servant and dear friend! Come on in and enjoy all the rewards I’ve prepared for you! You are victorious! You have overcome and won your race!”

I once heard a man describe life, our race, as being the – (dash) between the date of our birth, both physical and spiritual and the date of our death in this life. The – (dash) in each person’s life is different, in that each one is given a certain amount of time to run their race and each one is given a different kind of race to run. Some may have a very short race, like a fifty-yard dash, while others may be given a hundred-yard sprint, and still others may be given longer and more difficult races to run, such as, a three-thousand meter steeple race, with many obstacles. Then, there are some that will even be given a marathon to run, which I would say, most of us are given, as it is a life long, in for the long haul kind of race.

Whatever race we’ve been given to run in this life, we need to run like the wind, giving our greatest effort and devotion, with a dogged determination to finish strong the race we began, the one given to us to run, by The LORD Himself. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/07- “Don’t Ever Keep The Light That You Are, Hidden Inside Your House, But Let It Shine Outside, As Well And Everywhere You Are And Wherever You Go!” (Matthew 5:16)

Premise Question: When will we, all members of The Company Of The Redeemed, truly grasp and then fully comply with, the urgent exhortation and admonition that The LORD gives us in this scripture?

In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. (‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ NLT)

So, in the same way and manner that a light, when lit and not hidden, lights a house, so should you be the light, that you are, shining bright, outside in the world that is dark; for you are not to be lit and hidden in a house, but lit in a way, so that everyone that’s in darkness, will be able to clearly see, by your love, good deeds and service shown towards others, the true light and hope of the world; and then, they will honor, worship and praise your most gracious and loving, heavenly Papa God. (Matthew 5:16 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Let us strongly consider then, that in the full light of this undeniable truth, it is we, who are suppose to be the light, shining bright, without any fear, but being intrepid, bold and courageous, in dispelling the darkness of this world! Therefore, for the sake of those who are lost in the darkness, of this world, and, for the sake of being “WOW” servants, that is, Willing, Obedient Workers, of the One True Light, Jesus Christ, let us, as His representatives and ambassadors, allow His light to shine through us brightly, everywhere we go, and let it be seen by everyone, in how we comport ourselves, in our actions, in our love shown towards each other and, in our love and service shown towards those who are in darkness, our fellow humankind. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/06- “What He Said He Would Do, He Did! What He Did, Was Done For All!” (Matthew 28:5-6)

Premise Question: What are we, now, The Company of The Redeemed, supposed to be doing today, with the angelic message that was personally spoken and delivered to the two women, Mary and Mary, who had come to stand vigil, but instead, found the empty tomb?

Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying. (‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭5-6‬ NLT)

The angel, sitting atop the stone that he had just rolled rolled away from the entrance of the tomb, spoke to the two women, Mary and Mary, who had come to stand vigil, at the tomb of Jesus, “be assured and at peace, for there’s not any reason for you to be frightened or afraid, as I am aware of why you are here and who you are seeking—Jesus, the one who was nailed to the cross, but behold, He is no longer here! He is risen from the dead, just as He said! For He is victorious, as He has overcome death, hell and the grave, in the exact manner and way He declared it would come to pass! Come now and see for yourselves, with your own eyes, the place where they laid His body. He is no longer here!”(Matthew 25:5-6 PDCP)

Bottom Line: All of humankind, whether they are fully aware of it or not, are still today, looking for “The One” who can bring freedom from fear, the assurance of peace, the provision of comfort and real hope, into their everyday lives! We, The Company of The Redeemed, have been urgently tasked, as well as empowered, by The Holy Spirit, to quickly share this life giving and life sustaining message of Hope, The Blessed Hope, Jesus Christ, personally, with everyone, everywhere! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 01/01- “Leave The Past, Live In The Now, Look, With Joyful Expectation, To A Bright Future!” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/01- “Leave The Past, Live In The Now, Look, With Joyful Expectation, To A Bright Future!” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

Premise Question: What good will ever come from continuing to live your life, by dwelling on and constantly recounting and living in the past?

““But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”‭‭ (Isaiah‬ ‭43:18-19 NLT)

Dismiss completely, from your mind, the things that you’ve experienced or may have endured in the past, whether it was long ago or even more recently. Deliberately choose to move on and beyond all of it, the good, the bad and even the ugly. Do not subject yourself to continuing to mull the histrionics of it, again and again, in your head and heart, by rehearsing, recounting and reliving it over and over, without end or resolve, but set yourself free, releasing yourself from the past, by leaving the past behind and forever buried in the past! Behold, I, The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, am going to bring into existence, by My Spirit, a brand new thing! Even now, it is springing forth, up out of nothing; look for it, for it is already happening. Open up your spiritual eyes and ears and begin to see and comprehend, what I, The LORD, am presently doing on your behalf; for I am clearing a path and way, where there is no path or way, so that, you will have a safe passage through the abandoned and desolate wilderness, where there is nothing to drink or eat. But that now, I Am causing streams of living waters and rivers, filled and brimming with new life, to begin to flow throughout and fill up the barren, devastated and utterly forsaken desert lands. (Isaiah 43:18-19 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Nothing good can come from dwelling on and living your life in the past! For when you continue to focus and dwell on your past, whether it was a good, bad or ugly past, it will never produce any good thing, and will, in actuality, always prevent and keep you from experiencing the fullness of the “New Thing,” that The LORD has prepared for you, in your sojourn in this life, and thereby, in essence, shall stop you dead in your tracks, by not allowing you to enjoy the present nor ever fulfill your life’s divine purpose. Therefore, leave the past behind, choose to live in the now, and look, with joyful expectation, to your bright future! Blessings…and Happy New Year!!!

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 10/10/15- “Fix Your Resolute Gaze And Focus Upon The LORD!” (Psalms 16:8)

Posted on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 10/10/15- “Fix Your Resolute Gaze And Focus Upon The LORD!” (Psalms 16:8)

Premise Questions: Who is it, that keeps me safe and sound? Where do I run to for refuge? Who alone is my wonderful inheritance and cup of blessing? Who diligently guards, with great efficacy, all that is mine? Who is it, that is ever faithful and true to always guide and instruct me? Who is it, that will never leave or forsake me, no matter come what may? Who is it, that knows me better than anyone else ever has or ever will? Who is it, that I know that I know, being fully assured and completely certain, is absolutely always with me, right by my side, keeping me steadfast and stable?

“I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.” (‭Psalms‬ ‭16:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

I shall hold and maintain a keen sense of awareness, having a constant and fixed attentive gaze upon The LORD GOD Almighty; being ever tuned into His presence that surrounds me on every side. I’m wont to have Him close by my side, therefore, I hold Him in the highest regard and place of honor; for The LORD GOD Almighty’s ever present help is indispensable to me, in my daily walk. And with Him, there’s nothing that can ever harm or separate me from His eternal purpose and presence. (Psalms 16:8 PDCP)

Bottom Line: The answer to all of the premise questions is: It is The LORD GOD Almighty, The Creator of Heaven and earth, a strong tower of refuge, strength and safety that the righteous can run into for protection and find complete peace and refreshing rest. The LORD GOD is The One who is my ultimate prize and eternal reward, my Blessed Hope, my cup of salvation and gloriously splendid, wonderful inheritance. The LORD GOD is The One who can keep, guard and guarantee delivery to me, all that is promised and divinely destined to be mine. The LORD GOD is The Faithful and True Shepherd, The One who leads, guides and instructs me, and will always provide for me. It is The LORD GOD Almighty, that has promised to never leave or forsake me, no mater what may happen or come my way. It is The LORD God that knows me better than anyone else ever has or ever will, as He already knew me even before I was being formed, by Him, in my mother’s womb! And, it was He, that divinely designed and knitted each and every one of the unique and wonderfully complex parts of my being together, in perfect symmetry! And finally, it is The LORD GOD that always, without exception, every time, all the time, is right by my side, helping me to stay resolute, calm, cool and collected, steadfast, stable and strong, never dissuaded, always persuaded, never shaken, swayed or rattled, nor ever losing my conviction and confidence, because I know that I know, He is always by my side, ready, willing and more than able to help and assist me in every way. Blessings…
