Premise Question: Should we really attempt to have a serious conversation with our own soul, when we are down and out, discouraged and disturbed?
“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!” (Psalms 42:11 NLT)
Why, O my soul, and for what earthly reason could there ever be an occasion, on which I would ever allow you to stay in a state of despondency; spiraling downward, feeling dejected, disheartened and depressed? Why, O my soul, would you perpetually be distressed, disrupted and disturbed deep within the within of my inmost being; in disharmony and in complete disarray? Listen up, here’s what you should immediately do, O my soul, because it’s what I’m going to do whether you want or are even ready for me to do so! I firmly put, I resolutely place, I fasten tightly, my complete hope, faith and trust, in and upon The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty! I determinedly do this right now, by worshiping, with exuberant and joyful praise, The LORD GOD Almighty, my Redeemer and my most merciful, loving and full of gracious favor, Papa God! (Psalms 42:11 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Yes! We need to have a serious conversation with our soul, expressing to our soul, that no matter what is going on in our life, there is nothing in this world that we should fear or be worried about. For He, The LORD Himself, will quiet and put us at perfect peace, deep within the within of the inmost part of our being.
And, He, and He alone, is able to truly satisfy the hunger, quench the thirst and fulfill the deepest yearnings, longings and desires of our souls!

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 07/20- “A Spiritual Drink In A Dry Land!” (Psalm 63:1)
Premise Question: Where else can a person, who is effected by the common human condition, go or run to but to The LORD; in a land that is scorched and distressed, because it is deprived of and lacks any hunger satisfying or thirst quenching spiritual sustenance and drink?
“O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.” (Psalms 63:1 NLT)
You, O Sovereign LORD, The Almighty Papa God, Maker of Heaven and earth and everything therein, You are my God, The One who created me to worship, honor and serve You. Therefore, it is with the most serious intention, and divinely inspired purpose, that I am on the ultimate quest to find and discover who You are. I have an insatiable craving, along with an unquenchable thirsting for You and Your Manifest Presence; as my entire being, my spirit, soul and body yearns, aches and is in desperate need of You, in this indifferent, lacking any sustenance or moisture, very dry, cracked and parched land, where drought persists, with no spiritual drink to refresh and renew my whole being—spirit, soul and body. (Psalm 63:1 PDCP)
Bottom Line: All of humankind is effected by a common human condition, that of desperately looking to satisfy, and quench a hunger and thirsting deep within their very souls.
Every person experiences this extreme craving of a deep urgent hunger, with an unquenchable thirsting, that is buried deep within the within, of their innermost being.
There are, for humankind, no other viable options or alternatives; for it is only Papa God, The Creator, that can fill the space and void that’s deep within each person, as it was His divine design and purpose that created the cravings, the deep yearning and desire of hungering and thirsting for His Presence, in every person; which when diligently pursued, leads to a hunger satisfying, thirst quenching, life fulfilling, joyful existence, which results in experiencing the very essence of the best that this life has to offer!
Remember, wherever the water flows, there is life! So, ask The LORD for a cool, refreshing and renewing, spiritual food and drink, to satisfy and quench your urgent insatiable hunger and unquenchable thirst, in this scorched, dry and extremely parched land! Blessings…

Premise Question: Why is it so very important to not think of yourself as being superior to others, and that you be real, authentic and honest in your own appraisal of yourself?
Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. (Romans 12:3 NLT)
Because of The LORD’S unmerited favor and jurisdiction, that He personally gave to me, in a spectacular and serendipitous manner, I am compelled to share this instructive and extremely vital exhortation and admonition with you: do not ever consider yourself above or better than someone else, by thinking that you are in some way superior to them in virtue, or significantly more valuable and important than they are. But, rather, exhibit wisdom, humility, propriety, self-control and restraint, by refusing to think of yourself in that way; always choosing to be in alignment and complete agreement with, while conforming to, the very measure of faith that Papa God, The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty has given to each one of us. Bottom Line: Recognizing, accepting and fully complying with the authority and jurisdiction of the Apostle Paul’s potent and persuasive exhortation and vital admonition to us, will produce many blessings and benefits, along with wonderfully efficacious results in our lives and ministry and is ultimately quite pleasing to Papa God.
Therefore, it is of the greatest importance that we always be genuinely authentic in our faith, in our approach and in our perception of others; refusing to ever believe that we are superior to them.
We should be ethically honorable and completely straightforward, when it comes to how we look at, adjudicate and perceive ourselves; always making sure that we are open and honest, when accessing and appraising ourselves, by calculating and gauging our lives, by how it measures up to and comes into alignment with, the faith that each of us has been personally given by Papa God.
Remember, all of us have been redeemed because of Papa God’s unfailing love, by and through His gracious favor and great and undeserved mercy!
So, let us take this warning to heart and practice, and never be subject to thinking too highly of ourselves, or that we are more deserving and virtuous than that of others. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 04/16- “The Smartest Thing!” (Proverbs 4:7)
Premise Question: Can we, or should we even attempt to, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, successfully navigate the seas of life, and ultimately make good, right, just and wise decisions, that will have the desired and most preferable result, of us being able to thrive, flourish and survive in this life, without ever seeking after and actually be in possession of, in order to be led, guided, influenced and directed by, Papa God’s divine wisdom?
Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. (Proverbs 4:7 NLT)
Diligently pursuing and chasing after wisdom, with everything you’ve got, and with all your might, for the ultimate ideal purpose of being in full possession of it; in order to be led, guided, protected and directed by it in this life, should be your greatest ambition, and will prove to be the most important focus and the smartest decision that you’ll ever make in this life! And then, the desired result will be; that no matter whatever else you do in this life, you’ll always have the necessary acumen and wherewithal to grow and mature in ethical integrity, and also have the ability to see and judge things in a most excellent, honorable and praiseworthy way. (Proverbs 4:7 PDCP)
Bottom Line: The “Captain Obvious” answer to the Premise Question is: an absolute, NOPE! WISDOM-Seek it, ask for it, apply it, be taught and trained by it and don’t settle for anything less than Papa God’s divine WISDOM! For if you choose to do this, it will be the smartest, being the most brilliant, thing you ever do in this life and it will be a decision that will reward you with great benefits and one that you’ll never regret or have any residue of remorse!
There isn’t anything, in his life, more precious or that holds more value, or that will be more helpful and beneficial to you, than having Papa God’s divine wisdom leading, influencing, guiding, protecting and directing you in this life! Premise Question: We can, with certitude, count on Papa God; but, can Papa God count on us, to faithfully get His message of redeeming love and reconciliation, effectively, out to the whole world?
I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. (Psalms 130:5 NLT)
My expectation of hopefulness is based entirely upon my resolute reliance on The LORD; therefore, yes, I am depending solely and completely on Him, for I have, without hesitation, reservation or any reticence or restraint, “hitched my wagon,” (my life) with all of my hopes, dreams and desires, to The LORD and His declared desires and intentions, written down, in His Holy Writ.

Bottom Line: Yes we can, absolutely count on The LORD to be there for us, no matter what the situation or circumstance demands or requires; but the answer to the first part of the Premise Question, begs a response to the second part of the question within the question, which is: Can He, Papa God, count on us, by relying on us, to get His message out to everyone everywhere? In effect, will we, all members of The Company of The Redeemed, “let the whole world know” of His incomparable love, His glorious grace, magnanimous mercy and consoling compassion; through our own expressions of sharing His love, by showing and demonstrating it through acts of kindness and considerate care, and that, with great compassion? Yes we can and will, with the all sufficient anointing and power of The Holy Spirit, and with our own determined diligence and great faithfulness, by devoting ourselves fully to deliberately spreading the hope that we have—to everyone everywhere. Premise Question: What does it really mean and how can we, The Company of The Redeemed, truly express real love towards others, but especially towards our brothers and sisters?
“We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.” (1 John 3:16 NLT)
In order to fully experience, with a true understanding of what real genuine, self-sacrificing, unconditional, for the benefit of others, love is: we must be willing to follow the ultimate, the truest and purest example of the absolute personification of real love; which is, Jesus Christ, The One True Sovereign LORD of all, who willingly descended from the heights of Heaven to the lowest parts of the earth, so that, we could one day, also enjoy, with Him and each other, the wonder and magnificent splendor of Heaven. He, Jesus Christ, freely gave His life up for us, by allowing Himself to be nailed to a cruel cross, even to the point of abject humiliation. And we, the beloved and most cherished of The LORD, should also then, reciprocate with the appropriate response of; likewise being willing to express our love towards others, but especially towards each of our brothers and sisters, in the same way, manner and fashion. (1 John 3:16 PDCP)
Bottom Line: In regards to authentic, real, genuine true love; Jesus Christ is the “real deal!” For He is the ultimate, being the absolute personification of the full and true expression of real love! We also, should be then, the “real deal” and thus express fully the same, real, genuine true love, that The LORD has shown and expressed for and towards each of us, toward everyone, but especially towards those who are members of The Household of Faith, The Family of Papa God, who are all the blessed and beloved members of The Company of The Redeemed! People of The Most High, choose to be the “real deal” by choosing to love others, and if needs be, willing to lay your life down for others, especially those who are your precious brothers and sisters, in The LORD! Deliberately, with great diligence and devotion, choose to be a real blessing to others and be blessed, be a refresher to others and be refreshed and renewed, be a comfort to others and be comforted, be an encourager to others and be encouraged, be a giver to others and then receive the satisfaction and fulfillment of having your own needs met, be a lover of The LORD, love others with the love of The LORD and you will be loved this day and every day that follows, even throughout all of eternity! Premise Question: Can we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, have a confident assurance and real expectation, of actually being able to successfully navigate our life, without having the great privilege and honor, the tools and benefits, of the leading, guiding, impactive and direct influence that The LORD’S Word, His Spirit and diligent fervent prayer provides us, which for all of us, is our divine compass, sextant and GPS?
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT)
Place your faith and complete confidence in and your utter reliance upon The Lord, in total abandonment, holding nothing back or kept hidden in the deep recesses of your heart in reserve. Don’t ever find yourself choosing to rely solely upon your own way of thinking, in the way you see and perceive things, in order to get yourself through life. But, always remember to acknowledge The LORD in everything you do or attempt to do in life; surrendering and yielding every part and partial of your life to Him. Then, and only then, will The LORD Himself pilot and guide you through life, on an upright course that will follow the correct paths, which will establish a safe and successful arrival at your desired destination, at life’s journeys end. (Proverbs 3:5-6 PDCP)
Bottom Line: There are a myriad of sources we can choose from to be influenced and guided by in our lives. Some may seem quite logical, extremely viable, good or may even tickle our fancy and appeal to our inclinations or predilection. As The LORD’S Word clearly delineates, though, there is a way and path set before each person that appears to be the best way to go, but when chosen, only leads to death and destruction. (Proverbs 14:12) His Word also tells us, that fools will always think and believe the way they are going and what they are doing, is right, and will therefore, not be open to wise counsel, but again, it only leads to a horrible ending. (Proverbs 12:14) The LORD gives everyone a choice! The decision and choice we make determines whether we will experience blessings or curses, life or death. (Deuteronomy 11:26, 30:19) Let us make the wisest of decisions, by always deliberately choosing to place our total faith and trust, relying only on and in The LORD and His faithful, hope filled, leading, guiding and correct direction, by completely relying on His Word, The Holy Spirit and our fervent prayer; which is our divine compass, sextant and heavenly GPS for successfully navigating this life! Premise Question: Is it possible for someone to call upon The Name of The LORD for salvation, without ever expressing a believing faith in Him, and still be saved?
But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.’
(Acts of the Apostles 2:21 NLT)
Even though there will be such horribly awful and terrible things happening all around, as the world experiences trouble and is in complete turmoil, anyone and everyone, regardless of their people group, their past or present circumstances or situation, culture or creed, from anywhere and everywhere, it truly does not matter, for if they will humbly, with a contrite heart, cry out in believing faith to The LORD, by simply asking Him to hear their plea for mercy, they shall immediately and absolutely, without a doubt, be eternally recused from certain death and eternal separation from Papa God’s joy filled and wonderful, eternally blissful, presence. (Acts 2:21 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Nope! It is not even a remote possibility for someone to be rescued from certain death and eternal separation from the presence of Papa God without a believing faith in His Son, our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ! So, the question comes back on us, the members of The Company of The Redeemed. What is our part, our call of duty and obligation, as believers? The Apostle Paul makes the case in Romans chapter 10 for what the honorable right thing and our obligation is for us to be engaged in fully. According to Paul, no one has the ability to call upon The LORD, to be rescued and saved by Him, unless they believe in Him! And no one can ever possibly believe in Him unless and until they have heard the good news about Him! And, in fact, when they do hear, they will respond, by calling upon His Name to be saved! Furthermore, Paul surmises, it’s not even a remote possibility for anyone to hear about the good news of Jesus Christ unless there is someone who is willing to share it with them! And finally, there will not be anyone to share the wonderful good news with those who’ve not ever heard, unless and until they are willing to go, and are, in actuality, sent! (Romans 10:14-15) Now, that being the case, and because of this marvelous and wonderful truth, we, all members of The Company of The Redeemed, must have a tantamount sense of duty and joyful obligation, along with great urgency, to go, send and be sent everywhere, for the express purpose of sharing the good news, by telling everyone about Jesus Christ! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 03/30/15- “Retirement Plan? Pick One!” (Romans 6:23)
Premise Question: What are the stark contrasts and differences, when compared side by side, between the two eternal retirement, (benefits/plans) packages being offered, by Papa God through His Son Jesus Christ, to all of humankind?
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NLT)
The renumeration and recompense you’ll forever be paid, because of your sin, is eternal separation from Papa God’s presence, utter destruction and spiritual death, but the undeserved serendipitous and really generous gift, that Papa God has made available to you and which is absolutely free, without any cost to you, is everlasting, without end, eternal life, provided by His Son, our LORD, Jesus Christ, through His death on the cross. (Romans 6:23 PDCP)
Alternate PDCP: If you allow sin to master you, by serving its desires, then sin will reward you with death, as your compensation; where as, if you choose to accept God’s overture of being joined together with Him in a Holy Union, through His Son Jesus Christ, then, He rewards you with a perpetual, ceaseless, without end, eternal life of joy and perfect bliss. (Rom.6:23 PDCP)
Bottom Line: As we go through the passion week, I believe this particular scripture aptly sums up for us, perfectly, the “why for reason” and the “what for purpose” of the events that transpired during that week. Within the “why for reason,” was; because of the love The Creator has for all of His creation, He wanted to be reunited with them in a joyful and righteous, intimate relationship, in order to once again experience sweet fellowship, which had been broken and utterly destroyed by sin. And, the “why for purpose,” was to restore the relationship, by redeeming them and restoring their life, even eternal life, to His creation. So, Papa God has proffered two distinctly different and starkly contrasting choices for us to choose, as our eternal retirement (benefits/plans) package. One is based entirely on your own individual life and you being paid in full, wages for every sinful behavior, activity, deed, attitude, motive, wrongdoing, wickedness, thought, you may have. While the other, is based entirely on the perfect and sinless life of The Savior, who has paid in full, all that the righteous law of Papa God required, satisfying it completely. Enrollment is presently open to everyone. Everyone that chooses to respond has been pre-approved, pre-qualified and pre-selected, made possible through the death of Papa God’s Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross. A deposit and contribution has been made, by His Spirit, on your behalf, in your name. Papa God’s perfect retirement plan for us is to exchange the wages we would be paid for our sin, for His free gift of salvation and eternal life! Here is the two retirement packages, side by side, to compare, that are proffered, by Papa God, to all of humankind.
