SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 04/26- “‘I Did It My Way!’ Won’t Cut It, And In The End, Doesn’t Work!” (Proverbs 16:9)

Premise Question: Given the vital information contained within this divine word of wisdom, why would anyone, but especially one who is a member of The Company of The Redeemed, ever begin to presume or even attempt to do something on their own, without first consulting with The LORD and then submitting all of their plans to Him, for His wise input and approval?

We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.
(Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬ NLT)

We all have the ability to create, conceive, formulate and design a scheme and plan of our own and by our own doing. We can draw up blueprints and choose our own course of action, to build, do and accomplish something. But, it is The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty Himself, that directs, settles, determines and controls the degree of success and eventual outcome of our undertaking. (Proverbs 16:9 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Self-determination, self-made, did it my way, all by myself, all on my own, without the help or assistance of anyone or anything else; this attitude, approach, manner and way of doing things is neither prudent nor effective, and certainly is greatly diminished, when one does not utilize divine wisdom, good counsel and common sense.

Papa God’s Word gives us such clear and concise counsel, wisdom and sense, telling us that we can make our own plans, but only He can give us the right answer and result. (Proverbs 16:1) For if we will submit and commit all of our plans to Him, then He will ensure that our plans will succeed. (Proverbs 16:3)

The LORD also tells us, that if He is not part and partial of the entire building process, whatever is being built, then those who are participating in the project are working for nothing, because it will not succeed! (Psalm 127)

So, the obvious and proverbial question is: Why would anyone ever attempt or presume to do anything, without the input, oversight, participation and approval of The LORD? Because, “I did it my way” won’t cut it, and in the end, doesn’t work! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 01/16- “My Soul And My Spirit Aches And Craves For You, Oh LORD, For Your Wise Judgements, Your Justice And Righteousness, Both At Night And At Dawn!” (Isaiah 26:9)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/16- “My Soul And My Spirit Aches And Craves For You, Oh LORD, For Your Wise Judgements, Your Justice And Righteousness, Both At Night And At Dawn!” (Isaiah 26:9)

Premise Question: What is significant about the times, during the night watches or in the light of day, that one aches and craves for the presence of The LORD in their life?

My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭9‬ NIV)

Oh that my soul would experience your divine presence upon the night watches, for I am in desperate need of You, Oh LORD! And when the morning finally arrives, my heart and spirit earnestly desires and longs for Your manifest presence. For Your righteousness, Oh LORD, can only be truly learned and experienced, when You bring Your just and wise judgements upon the earth and humankind. (Isaiah 26:9 PDCP)

Bottom Line: During the night, one can tend to think about all that has transpired during the day, replaying it over and over, again and again, in their mind, rehearsing every little detail of what happened, and what could have been done or said differently, not able to get resolve, relief or any restful sleep, but continues to toss and turn, being in great turmoil; while in the morning, one needs the courage and strength of The LORD, in order to face the new day, with the old challenges of yesterday and the uneasiness and trepidation of what the new day may proffer. All too often, though, the case seems to be, as if, one does not need the presence of The LORD in their life during the day, while it is still light, and therefore, may have the proverbial attitude of, “I’ve got this,” when in reality, truth be known, you don’t! And finally, it truly is the case, that the world at large, including all of humankind, will truly only know of Papa God’s righteousness through His just and wise judgements. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/05/15- “Run Your Race With Dogged Determination!” (Hebrews 12:1b-2)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/05/15- “Run Your Race With Dogged Determination!” (Hebrews 12:1b-2)

Premise Question: How are we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, supposed to approach the race we’ve each been given in this life, how are we to run the race we’ve each been given in this life and finally, how are we to finish the race we’ve each been given to run in this life?

And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
(‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1b-2 NLT)

Be doggedly determined, while running the race of your life, proceeding with a sense of urgency, persistently steady, regardless of the obstacles or challenges you encounter along the course and path that’s been clearly marked out for you to follow. Refuse to acknowledge anyone or anything else that would distract you and take you off course and path, in your race; always staying focused, with your eyes gazing intently only upon The Savior of humankind, Jesus Christ, who is the first, the pathfinder, The One to forge a new path, by entering and clearing the way for all of us to enter into a faith that is without any flaws, entirely faultless and beyond improvement, being entirely perfect. Because of the exhilarating extreme joyful delight that was presented to Jesus, by Papa God, His Father, namely; the deliverance and salvation of the whole of humankind; He willingly yielded to the abject, contemptible disdain and the disgracefully painful ignominy of the cruel cross. Following this, though, Jesus sat down in the most highly exalted, most honored and His rightful place, seated right next to His Father, The Sovereign Almighty Papa God, upon His eternal throne. (Hebrews 12:1b, 2 PDCP)

Bottom Line: We, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, are to approach our individual race, with an attitude of humility, awe, having hopeful expectations and great excitement, along with a joyful enthusiasm. We should devote our lives to running well, always looking up, not down, moving and pressing forward, looking ahead, not behind. We are to run our individual race, with a dogged determination, completely resolute and tenacious in running our race. Refusing to quit, never giving in to the pressures, temptations and vicissitudes of life, but always relying on the leading, guiding and empowering of The LORD’S Holy Spirit. And, perhaps, when on an occasion we are distracted by something or someone, causing us to stumble and fall by the wayside; then, we must not allow ourselves to stay down on the ground, just laying around, on our path and course, stewing and wallowing in defeat, shame and ignominy, just waiting, and at times, even wanting to die. But, we must arise, get up, repent and begin again! Remembering that as long as we are still here, there is still something we’ve not done; and so, we must finish the race we’ve been give to run and complete. Speaking of finishing: We are to finish strong, the race we’ve been given to run, in this life! We may not be able to run as fast as we once did, when we were younger, but we can still choose to sprint to the finish line and lean into the tape at the end with a flourish! Then, we will hear these words from our LORD: “Well done! Way to go! You ran great, my faithful servant and dear friend! Come on in and enjoy all the rewards I’ve prepared for you! You are victorious! You have overcome and won your race!” I once heard a man describe life, our race, as being the – (dash) between the date of our birth, both physical and spiritual and the date of our death, in this life. The – (dash) in each person’s life is different, in that each one is given a certain amount of time to run their race and each one is given a different kind of race to run. Some may have a very short race, like a fifty-yard dash, while others may be given a hundred-yard sprint, and still others may be given longer and more difficult races to run, such as, a three-thousand meter steeple race, with many obstacles. Then, there are some that will even be given a marathon to run, which I would say, most of us are given, as it is a life long, in for the long haul kind of race. Whatever race we’ve been given to run in this life, we need to run like the wind, giving our greatest effort and devotion, with a dogged determination to finish strong the race we began, the one given to us to run, by The LORD Himself. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 05/31/15- “Our Redeemer, Teacher, Guide!” (Isaiah 48:17)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/31/15- “Our Redeemer, Teacher, Guide!” (Isaiah 48:17)

Premise Question: Why is it so vital and critically important for us, who are members of The Company of The Redeemed, to recognize, accept and then to listen carefully and follow closely to what The Redeemer, The Holy, Anointed and Chosen One of Papa God is telling us?

This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭48‬:‭17‬ NLT)

Stop whatever you’re doing right now, put aside everything and everyone else, and pay close attention, listen to the message that The LORD God Almighty, who is your Redeemer, your Deliverer, the Holy, Anointed and Chosen One, who has obtained your release from captivity, set you free and removed the penalty of sin, which is eternal death and separation from His presence, hear what He says: “I AM The LORD Your God, there is no other! I AM The One who imparts wisdom, knowledge and insight, in order to instruct, teach and train you in the ways that will bring the greatest of benefits into your life. I AM The One who leads, guides, directs and watches over you, as you journey upon the path and the way I’ve chosen for you, and that you should choose to travel on, while here, in this world.” (Isaiah 48:17 PDCP)

Bottom Line: It is of the utmost importance for us to recognize and accept who The Redeemer of humankind is, and that He is The One and Only Sovereign LORD God Almighty of all and over all; for it is for our own good that we do, as it meets and satisfies our most urgent and greatest personal need and also blesses us with the best and absolutely incredibly wonderful benefits, if we’ll do so! Then, it is a tantamount and tremendously significant thing for us to carefully listen to all that The Great I Am is telling us and then to immediately pursue and follow Him upon the pathway and route that He desires and has purposefully designed and established for us to travel and traverse upon, in this life. We are to do this with everything that we are and all that we’ve got; for it is upon this path that He imparts to us life giving instruction, necessary correction, while diligently and faithfully leading and guiding us into all truth, and in the right direction upon the path, which is His most honorable, commendable, being completely acceptable and pleasing to Him, will for our lives. Remember this great encouraging truth from Papa God’s Word: Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. (‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭105‬ NLT) Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 03/15/15- “Teach Me!” (Psalm 143:10)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 03/15/15- “Teach Me!” (Psalms 143:10)

Premise Question: When we ask Papa God to teach us and to keep our feet on firm footing, does that necessarily mean that our path will always be smooth, without any ruts, cracks, bumps, or one that’s fraught with danger, peril and difficult challenges?

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. (‭Psalms‬ ‭143‬:‭10‬ NLT)

Instruct me, your humble and reliant servant, to always desire to do your bidding, in order to fulfill Your will and purpose for my life, by putting You, O LORD, first and foremost in everything in my life’s journey. For You and You alone are my Almighty Sovereign Papa God, there is no other! I ask that Your loving and most merciful, being full of gracious favor, Holy Spirit would always direct and guide every step I take, upon the path forward, of my sojourn in this life. No matter what I may encounter upon the path You’ve chosen for me, I humbly request that You keep my feet from stumbling off or straying from, Your path. (Psalm 143:10 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Quick answer to the Premise Question: NOPE! But Papa God has given us many assurances that we should not be frightened, concerned or overwhelmed, with what we may face or encounter, while traveling upon our path in life. After all, He has clearly told us that we would have trouble, trial and tribulation in this life, but He also said not to worry about any of that, because He has overcome all of it for us! (John 14:1,16:33) For even in the midst of all of it, He is faithful to give us His joy, peace and comfort.
(1 Thessalonians 3:3-8) For He promises to never abandon or forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5) We are told not, at any time or any occasion or circumstance, to fear evil or what may happen to us, for He, The LORD, will always be there beside us! (Psalm 23) And finally: We should start every day, with Psalm 40:8, as our opening salvo, in our daily prayers. The message of this verse is: That it should be our utmost desire to do His will, above all else, each and every moment, of each and every day! “Teach Me!”
