SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/06- “Live Your Life With Eternity In View!” (Colossians 3:1-2)

Premise Question: So, now that we, as sealed members of The Company of The Redeemed, have a completely new lease and perspective on life, along with the promised and positively blessed prospects for our guaranteed, absolutely certain, joy filled future of a perfect and full of peace everlasting life; what are we doing with this amazing truth, we know as, the Good News?

“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.” (Colossians‬ ‭3:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Since the time of the resurrection of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, you too have now been raised to a new life with Christ; being removed out of darkness and despair, into His glorious light and pure joy, with the ultimate result of being rescued from eternal death into eternal life. Therefore, you ought to now choose to set your earthly affections and attentions, your intentions, desires and ambitions, on heavenly things; things that are immutable and eternal, where Jesus Christ is ruling and reigning in His place of honor, right beside His Father, our Papa God—The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty. You should now, therefore, fix your thoughts, your goals, aspirations and dreams, with a laser focus, on being fully consumed with Heavenly things, that have intrinsic value, not earthly things, which are temporal and filled with the cares of this life, your daily needs, challenges and worries alike. Act like you’re living life with eternity in view; don’t allow the here and now to be the dominating focal point of your life! (Colossians 3:1-2 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Once we’ve allowed the seismic shift, of the completely transformative change, that redemption and salvation has upon our lives, to take full effect, then we must take a different approach; having a brand new perspective and positive outlook on our present life, with a hopeful and joyful expectation for our future everlasting life.

In our daily life, we need to practice being positive, thankful, appreciative, always choosing to express sincere gratitude, grace and mercy towards others. We should accept, as truth, that no matter what we may experience or have to endure, during our time spent here on earth, we can relax, be comforted, encouraged and refreshed with, “and this too shall pass” and therefore, can not begin to be compared to our joy filled and glorious, hope filled future.

We ought to seriously take the long view of things and not always, because of the pressures of life, just focus on the short term and present conditions of our lives. Taking the long view means that we will deliberately choose to focus on the things of Heaven, things that have intrinsic value and are eternal, as they shall never diminish or pass away; rather, than being consumed and overwhelmed by the immediate and the temporal, which do not have any intrinsic or eternal value, but shall absolutely one day pass away and be no more.

Just a quick word of exhortation: don’t ever deny, reject, mock or minimize the miraculous in your life! Always choose to live your life with eternity in your sights! Take the long view, dismiss the short sighted view, and choose to share the truth of the Good News with everyone! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/18- “Everything That Was Created, Was Created, By Him And For Him, Because The Son Of The Most High Is Supreme!” (Colossians 1:16)

Premise Question: Given the fact, that everything that was created, was done so, by The Son and for The Son, then what does our part entail; what’s our call of duty, what does our obligation necessitate and what should be our appropriate response to Him, in this factual truth?

“for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.” (‭Colossians‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭NLT‬)

Not a single thing in all of Papa God’s creation, not in Heaven or on earth, not the smallest or the biggest of things, that we can see and perceive with our physical senses, nor even the things that we can’t see, perceive or comprehend, with any part of our being; whether they be earthly or not of this earth, kingdoms, thrones, rulers or authorities, with the capacity and ability to act with impunity, great force, and strength, as well as, with incredible power to exact their influence and will upon the earth and its inhabitants; for everything that’s been created, all of it, was brought into existence, by The LORD Jesus Christ Himself; through Him, for Him and for His supreme glory.

Bottom Line: Our part entails that each one of us must love and serve Him only, as The LORD GOD Almighty. Our call of duty is to keep His commands and with humility, love and serve others. Our obligation necessitates that we bear righteous fruit that will remain and sustain. Our appropriate response to Him should always be one of joyfully serving, worshiping, praising, honoring and glorifying Him with our whole heart, soul, mind, body and strength; for He has chosen and appointed us to testify and bring glory to His Name, in all the earth, by doing thus. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/11/15- “Papa God’s Inexplicable Plan Made Plain!” (Ephesians 1:9-10)

Premise Question: Must we, who are believers, come up under the supreme authority and control of The Headship of Jesus Christ, in order to experience and enjoy the good pleasures, the joy and all the benefits, that come with the relationship of Sonship?

God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭9-10‬ NLT)

Papa God, because of what His Son Jesus Christ has accomplished, in providing us with the opportunity to enjoy the privileged relationship of Sonship, is now making plain and simple, so that all may understand and enjoy Papa God’s good pleasure, with great benefits, His unfathomable, being completely incomprehensible and utterly inexplicable, perfectly designed, divinely inspired plan and purpose, with respect to The Headship of His Son, Jesus Christ; which, by the way, will bring to fruition the fullness of Papa God’s own good pleasure and eternally glorious joy. Now, here’s how the plan and purpose of Papa God is going to come together: There is a specific moment in time, being completely perfect and preordained, that Papa God will usher in His predetermined, divinely designed, inspired purpose and intentional plan, of placing everything, in all of creation, whether it is in heaven or on earth, under, beneath the incomparable supreme power, control and dominion, of The Headship of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:9-10 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Papa God’s preordained, planned relationship, between The Headship of Jesus Christ and The Sonship of the redeemed, is clearly delineated, by Him, through Paul, the apostle of Jesus Christ. For what was once inexplicable, is now, made plain and simple, being easy to comprehend, by all who would accept Papa God’s perfectly designed, divinely inspired, intentionally predetermined purpose and plan, of making His Son, Jesus Christ, The Head over everything, in heaven and on the earth, so that all of humankind may have the ability and gracious opportunity, to experience the relationship of Sonship. No Headship, no Sonship…no Sonship, no eternal joy, peace, and Papa God’s good pleasure for anyone. Blessings…
