SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/23- “Don’t Be A ‘Put On’! —But Do ‘Put On’ All Of These Attributes!” (Colossians 3:12)
Premise Question: Did Papa God choose us because we are a righteous, holy and pure people, or did He choose us because He loves us and desires that we become a righteous, holy and pure people; with His divine help and through His gracious provision of His Son—our redeeming LORD and Savior— Jesus Christ?
“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” (Colossians 3:12 NLT)
Therefore, since you’ve been divinely selected, because of The LORD GOD Almighty being favorably inclined towards you, to be one of His very own devout and cherished family members, of The Company of The Redeemed, you must make sure you are always clad appropriately, with these vitally important attributes, wearing them at all times, for all to see and personally experience. Now, regarding all of these attributes, don’t just be a “put on,” but actually put them on! Put on compassion, being moved to action, with sympathy, becoming empathetic towards others plight, by doing something that will really offer them the help needed, in order to alleviate their condition. Put on kindness, exhibiting kind benevolent favor, that’s thoughtful, helpful and cordial. Put on humility, not elevating yourself, by thinking you are superior or above others. Put on gentleness, always displaying a meek, mild and calm disposition and manner towards others. And finally, put on patience, by showing great restraint and self-control, choosing to learn and train yourself not to be reactionary, but responsive. Not hot headed, but even tempered, persistent, long suffering, and that, without any grumbling or complaint. (Colossians 3:12 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Oh what joy and pure delight, with an absolute certitude and a wholehearted gratitude, that’s full of exuberant rejoicing and thoughtful thanksgiving, being lifted up continually unto Papa God, His Son and The Holy Spirit, who is The King Eternal, The LORD of all, The One True and Faithful Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, who is The Maker of Heaven and earth and everything therein, and is The One who comforts, heals and restores, forgives and renews, and The One who chooses and loves, and gives us an abundant new life, and that, forevermore.
He is The One who, with His divine enabling, asks us to clothe ourselves, each and everyday, with His divine, yet quite practical, as well as, being extremely beneficial, attributes of The LORD.
He greatly desires that we be very tenderhearted, showing mercy and compassion, with great affection and benevolence, towards others. Papa God wants us to be kind to one another and others, being gracious, showing favor and generosity towards others.
It is of the utmost importance that we clothe ourselves in humility, walking and comporting ourselves in lowliness and exhibiting meekness towards others.
Our attitude and approach towards others, should always be characterized as being gentle, amiable and with much caring and real concern.
And finally, we must exhibit the divine and unique quality of being patient, having a huge reservoir, full to overflowing, of patience, calmness, steady composure, long suffering and forbearance.
So, don’t be a “Put On,” but, “Put On” all these attributes of The LORD! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/22- “Shipwrecked Friendship!” (Proverbs 16:28)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/22- “Shipwrecked Friendship!” (Proverbs 16:28)
Premise Question: What are some of the telltale signs that show up when one is being influenced and affected by the villainous activities and ruinous behavior of a troublemaker; versus, what are some of the indicators that one is experiencing the wonderfully beneficial results, as a direct result, of the righteous handiwork of a peacemaker?
“A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends.”
(Proverbs 16:28 NLT)
An obstinate, cantankerous troublemaker, is a vile person who is always looking for opportunities to sow gossip seeds of discontent and evil lies about others, with the express intent of causing a great conflagration of irrationality, that will enrage emotions to the point of being out of control and wreaking havoc, even amongst the dearest and closest of life long friends; ultimately causing such a rift that it is beyond repairing the shipwrecked friendship. (Proverbs 16:28 PDCP)
Bottom Line: The telltale signs that one is dealing with a troublemaker are: They stir up dissension, contention, discord and descent among friends, family, spouses, associates and neighbors, through the use of divisive and hurtful words, pointing out discontentment and exacerbating situations and circumstances, through the twisting, turning and manipulation of emotions, events, struggles, weaknesses, personal mistakes and failings, proclivities, perceptions, opinions and personality traits of those we know, into a veritable perfect storm; which heretofore, had been calm seas and smooth sailing.
Troublemakers are known to be agitators, inciters and expert provocateurs, who are proficient at making incendiary remarks that stoke fires that then need to be extinguished and put out; causing great tumult and severe strife to flourish—a fire that rages on and on, turning into a conflagration, a fire that is out of control and eventually burns down, tears apart and utterly destroys everything and everyone it touches or comes close to. It will even separate and divide the closest of friends, families and neighbors, through the nefarious planting of insidious seeds of evil speak—gossip.
We should never allow a troublemaker to have influence in or access to our lives or the lives of others!
On the other hand, though. Peacemakers are quickly identified, by the wonderful and blessed direct results of their righteous handiwork that is readily apparent, as it is seen and felt, while being experienced in our lives.
Peacemakers will have a calming effect and bring comfort, joy, peace, assurance, hope and strength to our difficult and stormy situations or circumstances.
Some of their greatest and most blessed results will be healing, reconciliation, restoration, resolve and peaceful resolutions and solutions. They will not tear down, or tear apart, but will build up and renew, as they will stir up others in love and unto good works.
Let’s all choose to be peacemakers and refuse to be or participate in the actions and behaviors of troublemakers, who have as their ultimate goal and ambition in life, to Shipwreck Friendships! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/10- “Get Rid Of It All!” (Ephesians 4:31-32)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/10- “Get Rid Of It All!” (Ephesians 4:31-32)
Premise Question: Why would any member of The Company of The Redeemed ever even consider choosing to hold onto things, that if they don’t deliberately choose to get rid of completely, out of their lives, will eventually end up destroying them and weakening their faith; when, if they would just confess those things as sin and release and replace them with the exact opposite attitudes, behaviors and practices, their lives would be full of love, joy, peace and release, and their faith would be made stronger, regardless of the kinds of attacks, hurts, insults hurled, or harm that may be directed against them?
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”
(Ephesians 4:31-32 NLT)
Don’t allow yourself even another scintilla of a moment of being encumbered, weighted down or influenced by some intense, antagonistic, grievous and resentful attitude, animus or hostility, you have towards someone or something, to turn into an out of control blind rage of belligerent behavior, because you’ve determined that somehow, or in someway, you’ve been horribly wronged by something that happened, or by someone’s words, attitude or actions towards you; therefore, as a direct consequence, you are then subject to immediately being thrust and literally propelled into acting out, in a malicious and retaliatory way, with the express intent and overwhelming purpose and desire of inflicting injury, harm, recompense and suffering upon something or someone. Rather though, choose to exhibit and model a benevolent and kind nature, with quite an indulgent disposition of always showing extreme compassion and patience toward each other, by releasing and forgiving one another, being loving, overlooking the offense and being long suffering, with great grace, mercy and kindness in the same way that Papa God, through His Son Jesus Christ is forgiving, loving, gracious, merciful, kind and long suffering towards you. (Ephesians 4:31:32 PDCP)
Bottom Line: What a great question for each one of us to answer, in relation to our own spiritual sojourn and daily walk of faith! Why would anyone hang on to things that can ultimately destroy them?
Here is a brief list: Wounded spirit, resentfulness, holding bitterness, which can turn into holding a grudge and being vengeful, which leads to refusing to forgive and release someone or something that has happened to them. These are all quite understandable and typically, an all too common reaction and practice, given the amount of hurt and suffering it can bring or heap on a person’s life. And even though The LORD completely understands and is sympathetic and compassionate, He doesn’t have to come into agreement with us on how it should best be resolved! For He desires that a person learn and choose to respond to the other person or situation, in the same way and manner He would and has prescribed, rather than just going nuclear and having a meltdown of their reactor.
Our natural tendency is to react, one could even say that it is actually in the DNA of our old fallen humankind nature to do so. But, we now have a new life, with a new nature, the nature of Jesus Christ and His attitudes, mindset, behaviors, characteristics of His Spirit living in us; for the old is passed away and died and the new life has come and taken up residence inside of us, completely transforming us into a new person, to do His will and fulfill His divine purpose, bringing honor and glory to Him! (Galatians 2:20)
So, in order for this to truly happen and take place in our lives, we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, must read Papa God’s Word, know His Word, fully accept all that He is conveying to us in His Word, (the “B” in Bible doesn’t stand for buffet, we can’t just pick and choose what we want or are most comfortable with) and then, we must deliberately and with great diligence and devotion, trust and obey Papa God’s Word, by putting into practice in our daily lives, the perfect example, that’s been clearly delineated for all of us in Papa God’s Word, The Living Word—Jesus Christ, our LORD and Savior! Blessings…
