SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/28- “O LORD! Please! Help Me!” (Psalms 27:7)

Premise Question: Where can I go to get the absolutely perfect soothing answer, that fulfills my desperate cry for help and then, truly refreshes and satisfies my soul?

“Hear me as I pray, O LORD. Be merciful and answer me!” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Most Holy and Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, full of compassion and grace, incline Your omnipresent ear, with Your long suffering and gentle disposition, towards the direction and sound of my desperate call; at the very moment You hear Your most humble and full of gratitude, servant’s plea. Show me Your loving kindness, and Your beneficent gracious divine favor, by acting on my behalf and responding to me, with the perfect solution that will meet and solve the present situation and circumstance of my urgent and pressing call. Please, O LORD, answer me; according to Your mercy and Your perfect purpose and will for my life. (Psalm 27:7 PDCP)

Bottom Line: There is an old song I remember singing quite a lot while growing up in church many years ago—”Where Could I Go But To The LORD!” When, on occasion, I sang it as a young child, it didn’t have much impact or meaning for me, as the lyrics didn’t necessarily pertain to me, in any great sense or degree. But as I grew older and subsequently experienced life on many different levels, it became extremely pertinent to me on a number of different levels, as well as, even greater, on a very personal basis. The lyrics to the chorus of, “Where Could I Go But To The LORD,” which was written by the great songwriter (J B) Coats in 1940, go as follows:

Where could I go, where could I go
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend, to help me in the end
Where could I go, but to The LORD

The lyrics in the three verses to this song are also quite powerful! So, as it pertains to the scripture verse found in (Psalms 27:7), we recognize that the only place that we can truly go, in order to have our desperate cry for help heard, and then, necessarily, as well as, satisfactorily answered, is to The LORD!

There will be times and occasions in our life, though, that a friend, a family member, the church, the government or some other agency, will not have the capacity nor the capability to really hear, respond or understand our desperate cry for help, and thereby, satisfy and fulfill our deep need. But, we do have an advocate, who is willing, waiting and wanting to hear our voice cry out to Him for mercy, from the depths of a humble and contrite heart.

Therefore, we ought to humbly plead, pray and cry out to Him, asking Him to hear our cry for help, with the full understanding that it is only He, that can truly give us the help that we need. For He, The LORD, is our only hope!

We serve a good, gracious and full of mercy Papa God! Therefore, we can humbly appeal to His beneficent mercy, great compassion and gracious favor, and with full assurance and confidence, know that He not only hears us, but will also acknowledge us, by answering and getting back to us, in His appointed time, with the perfect answer for us, in complete accordance with His divine purpose and will for our life. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/31- “Our Redeemer, Teacher, Guide!” (Isaiah 48:17)

Premise Question: Why is it so vital and critically important for us, who are members of The Company of The Redeemed, to recognize, accept, and then, to listen carefully and follow closely to what The Redeemer, The Holy, Anointed and Chosen One of Papa God is telling us?

This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭48‬:‭17‬ NLT)

Stop whatever you’re doing right now, put aside everything and everyone else, and pay close attention, listen to the message that The LORD GOD Almighty, who is your Redeemer, your Deliverer, the Holy Anointed and Chosen One, who has obtained your release from captivity, set you free and removed the penalty of sin; which is eternal death and separation from His presence, hear what He says: “I AM The LORD Your God, there is no other! I AM The One who imparts wisdom, knowledge and insight, in order to instruct, teach and train you in the ways that will bring the greatest of benefits into your life. I AM The One who leads, guides, directs and watches over you, as you journey upon the path and the way I’ve chosen for you, and that you should choose to travel on, while here, in this world.” (Isaiah 48:17 PDCP)

Bottom Line: It is of the utmost importance for us to recognize and accept who The Redeemer of humankind is, and that He is The One and Only Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty of all and over all; for it is for our own good that we do so, as it meets and satisfies our most urgent and greatest personal need, and also blesses us with the best and absolutely incredibly most wonderful benefits, if we’ll do so!

Therefore, it is a tantamount and tremendously significant thing for us to carefully listen to all that The Great I Am is telling us, and then, to immediately pursue and follow Him upon the pathway and route that He desires and has purposefully designed and established for us to travel and traverse upon, in this life.

We are to do this, with everything that we are and all that we’ve got. For it is upon this path that He imparts to us life-giving instruction and the absolutely necessary correction needed, while diligently and faithfully leading and guiding us into all truth and into the right direction and upon the right path, of our sojourn in this life; which, in the end and scope of all things, is the most honorable, commendable, being completely acceptable and pleasing thing to Him, and will thus, fulfill His divine purpose for our lives.

Remember this great encouraging truth from Papa God’s Word: His word is a lamp to guide our feet and a light for our path. (‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭105‬ NLT) Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/04- “Trusting And Relying On The LORD!” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Premise Question: Can we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, have a confident assurance and real expectation, of actually being able to successfully navigate our life, without having the great privilege and honor, the tools and benefits, of the leading, guiding, impactive and direct influence that The LORD’S Word, His Spirit and diligent fervent prayer provides us, which for all of us, is our divine compass, sextant and GPS?

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5-6‬ NLT)

Place your faith and complete confidence in, and your utter reliance upon, The LORD—in total abandonment, holding nothing back or kept hidden in the deep recesses of your heart in reserve. Don’t ever find yourself choosing to rely solely upon your own way of thinking; in the way you see and perceive things, in order to get yourself through life. But, always remember to acknowledge The LORD in everything you do or attempt to do in life; surrendering and yielding every part and partial of your life to Him. Then, and only then, will The LORD Himself pilot and guide you through life, on an upright course that will follow the correct path, which will establish a safe and successful arrival at your desired destination at life’s journeys end. (Proverbs 3:5-6 PDCP)

Bottom Line: There are a myriad of sources we can choose from to be influenced and guided by in our lives. Some may seem quite logical, extremely viable, good or may even tickle our fancy and appeal to our inclinations or predilection. As The LORD’S Word clearly delineates, though, there is a way and path set before each person that appears to be the best way to go, but when chosen, only leads to death and destruction. (Proverbs 14:12) His Word also tells us, that fools will always think and believe the way they are going and what they are doing, is right, and will therefore, not be open to wise counsel. But again, it only leads to a horrible ending. (Proverbs 12:14)

The LORD gives everyone a choice! The decision and choice we make determines whether we will experience blessings or curses, life or death. (Deuteronomy 11:26, 30:19)

Let us make the wisest and absolutely the most prudent of decisions, by always deliberately choosing to place our total faith and trust, relying only on and in The LORD and His faithful, hope filled, leading, guiding and correct direction, by completely relying on His Word, The Holy Spirit and our fervent prayer; which is our divine compass, sextant and heavenly GPS for successfully navigating this life! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 02/26- “Little With Fear VS Abundance With Trouble!” (Proverbs 15:16)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/26- “Little With Fear VS Abundance With Trouble!” (Proverbs 15:16)

Premise Question: Is this concept, found in Papa God’s Holy Wisdom Book, (that we are better off having a meager existence with a healthy reverential awe for The LORD, rather than, to possess an unusually large fortune that’s accompanied by inner strife and unrest) truly something that we, as believers, accept, believe and practice?

Better to have little, with fear for the LORD, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭16‬ NLT)

Even though it may seem insane, or a nonsensical concept to accept, believe or practice, it is much more preferable, being full of superior wisdom, to live and have a meager existence, with a healthy reverential awe for The LORD, rather than, an unusually large, extravagant fortune, accompanied by internal turbulence, tumult and great unrest. (Proverbs 15:16 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Perhaps the answer to this question can be addressed with: It all depends on the perspective that you’re coming from and the experience you’ve had, in life! For, if on the one hand, you’ve always been blessed with an abundance of wealth and you’ve never had the opportunity to know what it’s like to live on a meager existence, it is incongruent to you, and therefore, you may not be able to relate. While, on the other hand, if you’ve always been challenged to live on a sparse amount, having never experienced what it’s like to live with an over abundance of riches, then you may have a difficult time in accepting the concept, as well, but just from a completely different perspective. So, what source should and can we believe, as being true and, who and where do we go for the definitive, being superior, answer? Let’s look at Paul The Apostle: He said that he had lived in both scenarios and had come to understand that the secret was to learn to be content, no matter what the scenario. (Philippians 4:11-12) Paul also tells Timothy that true godliness, with contentment, is itself great wealth. Because after all, in actuality, we were born with nothing and there’s not anything we’ll be able to take with us when we leave this world. So, we ought to be content if we have enough to eat and clothes to wear. Paul goes on to say to Timothy, that those who desire to become rich, may open themselves up to all kinds of tempting snares and thus, could be subject to falling for them, with devastating repercussions. He continues with, the love of money, not money itself, but the inordinate affection of money, is the “tap root” of all kinds of nefarious activities and one with that root in their life, could end up with a boatload of regrets and plenty of sorrows! (1 Timothy 6:6-10) Now we could continue this discussion, but for the sake of space and time, let me leave you with a couple other scrips to consider: (Mark 4:19, Matthew 6:20, Luke 12:34). Finally, no matter what scenario we may be experiencing, in life, let’s believe, accept, receive and put into practice, the wise counsel of The LORD, and then, experience true wealth, which is, godliness, with contentment. Blessings…
