SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 12/26- “Let The Jubilant And Rapturous Celebration Of Great Rejoicing Ensue!” (Luke 2:20)

Premise Question: What is it time to say and do and who do we tell?

“The shepherds went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen. It was just as the angel had told them.”
(‭‭Luke‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭NLT‬)

The shepherds, being completely overwhelmed with rapturous joy and excitement, after not only hearing, with their own ears, the wonderful Good News, but then, having what they had just heard actually confirmed, with the incredible experience of seeing it, with their own eyes, exactly, as it had been described to them, by the angel of The LORD, even down to the smallest detail; all of this was much more than they could ever try to contain within themselves, so, upon the return to their sheep, everyone they saw along the way, they weren’t able to be reserved or hold back from glorifying and praising The LORD GOD Almighty and telling them all about the magnificently wondrous, miraculous miracle of glad tidings of great joy, the Good News for all of humankind, that they had just personally witnessed. (Luke 2:20 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Have you ever been too excited to sleep or eat or unable to sit or stand still for even a moment, because of the overwhelming anticipation and expectation of joy building up inside you and that you are experiencing due to having some insight and incredible knowledge of something really good that’s either about to happen or has already happened? What you know and what you are feeling is too wonderful to keep to yourself! You can’t hold or contain it within yourself! You’ve just got to tell someone, call someone, see someone, show someone, anyone or everyone about the Good News of what has happened or is about to happen! It may even have an affect on you of causing you to break out in dance, burst out laughing or to begin to sing uncontrollably, with rapturous joy, for you just can’t keep it inside yourself, as you are unable to contain or control it, you just can’t help it! Nothing is going to stop, delay or hinder you from immediately beginning to tell somebody, probably everybody you come in contact with or have opportunity to tell!

Perhaps, that’s what was going on with the shepherds, with regards to the news they had just received, seen and heard.

We too, have experienced and been given the same Good News! So, let us, who are members of The Company of The Redeemed, do the same as the shepherds were compelled and overwhelmed with joy to do!

It’s time to let the jubilant and rapturous celebration of great rejoicing ensue and to “start spreading the news,” by beginning to tell everyone everywhere about The Good News of great joy and perfect peace for all of humankind! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 11/18- “Hidden Deep Within My Heart!” (Psalm 119:11)

Premise Question: What’s the purpose of hiding, by memorizing, internalizing and personalizing, Papa God’s life-giving and all sustaining word, deep within our innermost being—our heart?

“I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:11‬ ‭NLT‬)

Your Word, O LORD, is The Wellspring of all life; the true source of all that is righteous, holy and pure. Therefore, I continually commit Your Word to the very depths of my thoughts and inmost being, within the within, so that, the spring flowing up and out of my own heart, in my life, will stay pure and refreshing; thereby, keeping me from dishonoring or committing transgressions against You and Your Holy Word. (Psalm 119:11 PDCP)

Bottom Line: The absolutely vital purpose of memorizing, internalizing and personalizing Papa God’s Word, within the within, of our innermost being, is so that we will have the wherewithal, the strength, the courage and full assurance, of The LORD, to keep the spring in our lives pure and undefiled, and will thus, be able to withstand any attack or onslaught, that we might encounter, from the enemy of our souls! Then, come what may, no matter what happens, we can and will be able to stand firm, as nothing, that ever happens or occurs, will overwhelm, overcome or move us. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 11/11- “Salvation Is Our Ultimate Reward!” (1 Peter 1:8-9)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 11/11- “Salvation Is Our Ultimate Reward!” (1 Peter 1:8-9)

Premise Question: What is our sure and certain reward, how do we qualify for it, and what kind of affect/effect does it have on us, and produce in us, now, as well as into our eternal future and beyond?

“You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.” (‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:8-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Even given the fact that you’ve never actually seen The LORD Jesus Christ in person, you still love, honor and worship Him, with everything that is within you. And though you presently are not able to see Him in the flesh, your belief, trust and unshakable faith in Him causes an explosion of joy to go off inside of you, deep within the within, of the innermost part of your being, that fills you to overflowing, with His fountain of living water, His wonderful glorious presence, which there are no words that can be uttered that will even begin to adequately express what you are receiving and experiencing from The LORD. For this is what comes forth in your life, as a consequence of yielding and surrendering to Him when you’ve placed your complete trust and faith in Him; even your redemption, the eternal salvation of your entire being—spirit, soul and body. (1 Peter 1:8-9 PDCP)

Bottom Line: All glory honor and praise belongs to The One True Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, maker of heaven and earth and everything therein and even beyond, and who has provided a way of escape from death, hell and the grave, deliverance from all sin, darkness, captivity and bondage, for all those who will call upon The Name of The LORD, by placing their complete trust, hope, faith and reliance in and on The Name of The LORD—Jesus Christ!

Our sure and certain reward is eternal salvation—the total and complete redemption of our spirit soul and body! We are saved…regeneration of our spirit…we are being saved…sanctification of our soul…we will be saved, glorification of our body.

We are pre-qualified for our reward, as long as we simply put our complete reliance, faith, trust and hope in Him, by calling upon His Name—Jesus Christ, confessing our sin and believing in our heart that Jesus is The LORD.

The affect/effect that this decision to trust The LORD Jesus Christ with our eternal soul, is one of total exultation, outrageous celebration, completely enjoyable, being so full of joy that it is impossible to describe with mere words; for it is so wonderfully glorious that no amount of words or any type or kind of words expressed would do it justice, as it is far beyond our capability to do so! Our decision to trust in The LORD produces in us an assurance and peace that surpasses all comprehension and understanding!

Therefore, rejoice, celebrate, take delight, for our resplendent, being more than marvelous, magnificently brilliant, redemptive salvation, our ultimate reward, is drawing nigh! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 10/02- “Be Joyful, Patient And Faithful To Prayer!” (Romans 12:12)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 10/02- “Be Joyful, Patient And Faithful To Prayer!” (Romans 12:12)

Premise Question: Is it actually possible for us to be continually filled with the joy of The LORD, irrespective and regardless of what we may be experiencing or having to go through; if we will deliberately choose to rejoice, no matter what, learn to be patient and hopeful, in our troubling and difficult times, and always give ourselves to praying about everything and for everyone, on all occasions, in any situation and in every circumstance?

“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”
‭(‭Romans‬ ‭12:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Deliberately choose to be ever joyful, by rejoicing with a glad heart, that’s filled with gratitude and thanksgiving, as well as having a fully expectant and confidently assured belief of obtaining real hope and the complete joy of The LORD, from Him, who is The Blessed and only Hope of humankind; our redeeming LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. Be patient and still, relying on The LORD, by remaining tranquilly calm, with a steadfast resolve. Do this, without any complaining, moaning and groaning, mumbling and grumbling or being quickly or easily annoyed and given to despair, during times of affliction, persistent distress, disease and misery, that most assuredly, all too often, is also accompanied by excruciating pain, along with, arduously difficult trials and hardships. And, be ever vigilant, by being completely faithful and true, keeping your word, fulfilling your vows, being consistently and constantly humble in all ways, all of your days; always choosing to do what is right and just, while being diligently devoted to prayer, by offering up to Papa God, on behalf of yourselves and others, earnest supplications, requests and petitions of expectant, believing prayer. (Romans 12:12 PDCP)

Bottom Line: There are countless historical examples of those who were continually full of joy, filled with patience and had a confident and expectant hope that came from The LORD, through their deliberate rejoicing and devotion to a consistent prayer life. They are seen in the Old Testament through The New Testament, all of the Church history to even this time that we are now presently living in. And, there will be countess more examples to recount in the future and the coming days, as The LORD continues to tarry and we wait for His certain return.

Noah prayed and received specific instructions on how to build an Ark for the coming great deluge, even though it had never rained, he did this with much joy, enduring patiently, with an expectant hope, (it took 120 years to do it) and he never stopped inquiring of The LORD.

Daniel was thrown into a den of hungry lions, and yet, he did not stop rejoicing, praying or waiting patiently upon The LORD. He also didn’t lose his confident faith or positive attitude in and during his ordeal.

Daniel’s close friends, (commonly referred to as the three Hebrew children) that were cast into a fiery furnace, never wavered in their confident hope in The LORD and His ability to deliver them, and they ended up have a wonderful meeting with The LORD in the midst of their fiery ordeal.

David went out to face Goliath, a giant that had ridiculed and mocked, threatened and filled with disabling fear, every soldier in the armies of a whole nation, as well as personally insulting and mocking The LORD GOD Almighty and His Holy Name. It was after David had prayed, praised and sang songs unto The LORD, he went out to face the giant, with just a slingshot, five smooth stones and the greatest of his weapons, his expectant faith and confident hope in The Name of The LORD! As we all found out, Goliath was no match for David, who was armed with his faith, a slingshot, five smooth stones, (he only needed one, the others were not just in case he missed, but just in case any one of the four brothers of Goliath happen to show up to fight) and The Name of The LORD!

Remember, if God is for us, and He most certainly is, who can be against us?

Here’s a couple examples from The New Testament: Paul and Silas beaten, jailed and shackled, and yet they were rejoicing, praising, praying and patiently enduring, with a joyful confident hope, that The LORD was with them and would see them through it all! They ended up at their jailer’s house in the middle of the night having a celebration party for all that The LORD had done, and they even got to eat and drink to their fill!

Paul encourages Timothy to keep his joy, by enduring hardships as a good soldier, for a good soldier never complains, moans or groans, but continues to do what he is called to do. Paul told the Philippians to rejoice in The LORD no matter what, and then, to continue to rejoice!

James tells us to count it all joy, no matter what we may experience or have to go through!

Most recently, Christians in the Middle East, young and old alike, have been beheaded, drowned, cut in two, starved, beaten, tortured, enslaved, used and abused as sex slaves, because of their faith, and yet, testimony after testimony emerges of the joy and sustaining comfort they all experienced from The LORD, during their awful ordeal!

Now, we hear of those who were shot in the head, because they stood up and were willing to acknowledge Jesus Christ as being their LORD and Savior; willing to be recognized and counted as being members of The Company of The Redeemed—those who’ve placed their confident faith and expectant hope in The LORD! Great is their reward, with much rejoicing and celebration!

So, absolutely yes! It is not only possible, but in fact, is completely validated and established, by numerous examples from ancient history, long ago history, recent history and will be, in the history of the future, because, again, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and even beyond forever! He doesn’t change, but He can and does change our hearts, filling them with rejoicing joy, confident faith and an expectant hope; one that will not ever disappoint, diminish or fade away, as long as we joyfully rejoice, patiently endure, have a hopeful expectation and continue to faithfully pray! Blessings…
