SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/05- “Serve As A ‘Real Life’ Example Of Papa God’s Love!” (Ephesians 5:1-2)

Premise Question: In actual practice, not just some ethereal premise that’s described with some wonderful sounding, highfalutin platitudes and soaring rhetoric, uttered sonorously and euphoniously, how are we, The Company of The Redeemed, really supposed to imitate, live out and follow the perfect example of Papa God’s unfailing love—His Son’s sacrificial offering up of His life for us, and then, truly serve The LORD and others, which will produce the desired result of a pleasing aroma, from our worship and service, that will ascend into the high and holy place, the very presence of Papa God?

“Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.”
(‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:1-2‬ ‭NLT)

Serve as a “real life” exemplary illustration of Papa God’s great example of His unfailing love, that He has shown towards all of humankind; for He desires that we, The Company of The Redeemed, should emulate and fully implement His example of unfailing love into our own lives. Therefore, as the highly cherished children, that we are, we need to choose to conduct ourselves, making it our daily routine habit, to love in the same manner and way that Jesus Christ, our LORD and Savior, loved us, who are members of The Company of The Redeemed, when He voluntarily laid down His own life for us, without expecting anything in return, as the most delightful and pleasing sacrificial offering of obedience, completely surrendering His will to the will and divine purpose of His Father, our most loving, merciful and gracious Papa God, The One True Sovereign Almighty God. (Ephesians 5:1-2 PDCP)

Bottom Line: First of all, let me acknowledge that the premise question is a huge mouthful to chew, swallow and then digest, in just this bottom line. But let me try and distill and simplify it a bit.

We have all the unique and innate ability to imitate Papa God because we are His children, created in His image, to do good works; works of kindness, to be long suffering, show favor, be merciful, gracious and to always be motivated and moved to compassion and genuine concern, by His great unfailing love for humankind.

We can choose to follow and emulate the perfect sacrificial example of Jesus Christ, by also choosing to lay our lives down for each other, with expressions of encouragement and support, generosity, hospitality, civility, empathy, while exhibiting great patience, as well as, always expressing our heartfelt gratitude, thanksgiving and sincere appreciation for and towards each other.

When we are successful in emulating/imitating Papa God, by following the true example of Jesus Christ, always endeavoring, making it our life’s ambition of living our lives, being influenced, motivated and moved to action by the unfailing love of Papa God, then our worship of Papa God and our service to each other, will become a sacrificial offering, that will produce a pleasing aroma, that ascends into the heavens and throne room of The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/29- “Husbands, Love Your Wives!” (Ephesians 4:25-26)

Premise Question: What could happen, what would it actually look like and what kind of results would it produce in the unions between men and women, who’ve chosen to enter into Papa God’s long standing established institution of marriage, which He characterizes as being blessed, holy and sacrosanct; if husbands would truly follow the perfect example Christ left for them—clearly written down in Papa God’s Holy Writ?

For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭25-26‬ NLT)

Men, who’ve willingly chosen to be joined together in holy matrimony, with a woman; should profoundly love their wives, with great honor and affection, undivided attention, gracious consideration, always being concerned for their welfare, while ever cherishing, treasuring and being thankful for them, in the same way that Christ displayed His benevolent affectionate love towards us, The Church—His most cherished bride, as His much desired and valued precious treasure, His very own chosen and redeemed family of Papa God; by laying His life down willingly, as a ransom, for the redemption of humankind, in order to transform, change, and make us new, taking us from a place of utter defilement to a place of holy consecration, set apart unto Himself, for His sacred purpose. He has accomplished this, by washing us clean, with His shed blood, removing all sin, filth and defilement, and then, by giving us continual access to Him, through His Word, which is the fountain of life, the springs of living water that continually promote and produce a healthy and thirst quenching, satisfying spiritual life. (Ephesians 5:25-26 PDCP)

Bottom Line: in answer to the premise question, what could happen is, a lot of marriages that typically end up on the heap of debris of broken promises and vows, could and would be renewed, restored and reconciled, by being placed back on its true foundation, The Rock, which is Jesus Christ, who, by example, ended up making the ultimate sacrifice, not satisfying His own desires or His own personal needs and concerns, but giving His all, by laying down His life for His Bride—The Church; which He loves more than Himself or anything else!

Then, what it would actually look like, when husbands begin to love their wives more than themselves and their self-love of their own bodies, is that their relationship with their wives will now have the potential and best case scenario to be glorious, victorious and become the ultimate thriving, surviving, flourishing and always refreshing loving relationship that’s possible to have between a husband and wife. It must mirror, though, the relationship that Jesus Christ has with His Bride—The Church.

He, The LORD, always chooses to forgive, endure, reassure and comfort. He always chooses to be genuinely kind, courteous, patient and extremely generous, holding no good thing back from His Bride.

The kind of results this would produce is a harvest of righteousness and good, honorable and commendable things. There would be great rejoicing, remarkable exploits and a true harmonious and tranquil peace established throughout The Church, The Company of The Redeemed!

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ truly loves His Bride—The Church! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 04/01- “He, Came To Serve—We Are Called To Serve!” (Matthew 20:28)

Premise Question: As a member in good standing, of The Company of The Redeemed, are you following the example of Christ, by making yourself available to Him, in order to serve others, and then, are you actively looking for opportunities to do so; or are you, in fact, just sitting back, waiting and looking, with the expectation of an entitlement attitude, of wanting and expecting to be served by others?

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭20‬:‭28‬ NLT)

So, it was Papa God’s only Son, Jesus Christ, who came to earth, as a humble and obedient servant, not to be served, by all of humanity, but to serve all of humankind, by meeting their greatest need, of faithfully serving in the role of an absolutely necessary Redeemer; thereby, volunteering to lay down His life, in order to purchase their lives. (Matthew 20:28 PDCP)

Bottom Line: It has been said, that there are primarily two different kinds of people in the world, (church) those who are looking to serve and those who are looking to be served! That actually works out well, as the one who wants to serve will always have plenty of opportunities to serve those who are looking to be served. This, ironically and beneficially, works both ways!

A wonderful example of this scenario took place on a weekly basis, in a community of believers that I was greatly honored and privileged to personally minister with, while seeing this incredible dynamic in action, of serving and being served, carried out, with diligence, in a remarkable and incredibly beautiful way.

The ministry was called LAF, (Loaves and Fishes) which served a weekly hot meal, that coincided with an encouraging word and service, personal ministry, follow up, referrals and also sent home, with each of them who came out for the meal and ministry time, about 40 to 60 lbs of groceries and personal necessities.

The entire ministry was staffed and facilitated with volunteers from the community of believers. Those who served those who were in need of being served, ended up receiving the greater blessing, for it truly is more blessed to serve than to be served!

Another ongoing result of the ministry, was that, many of those who came for the ministry and were being served, eventually, became joyful volunteer servers, in the LAF ministry, and then, they too, received the greater blessing, of serving, rather than being served.

Before Christ, we were in great need of being served by Christ, but now that we’ve been served by Him, we should now become His faithful servants, by serving others.

So, as Jesus came to serve, rather than to be served, we too, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, should have this same attitude and mind, the mind of Christ! We are to follow the example of Christ, by being what Christ-like means: An authentic Christian!

I leave you with two very poignant scriptures: #1. For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” (‭Luke‬ ‭19‬:‭10‬ NLT) #2. Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” (‭John‬ ‭20‬:‭21‬ NLT) He came to serve, seek and save the lost, and now, He is sending us to do the same…Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 03/21- “Freedom To Serve In Love” (Galatians 5:13)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 03/21- “Freedom To Serve In Love” (Galatians 5:13)

Premise Question: What is the greatest temptation, for the most part, given the blessings that have been bestowed upon us here in America, that The Church has to overcome, in order to fulfill the reason and purpose Papa God has given us the freedom we enjoy?

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. (‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬ NLT)

The freedom that Papa God has granted all of us to experience, enjoy and live in, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, was not given to us so that we could spend it all upon ourselves, by satisfying and gratifying our own sinful desires of the flesh. Rather, though, it’s been given to us so that we would be fully equipped, with every provision, in order to have the necessary capacity and ability to love and serve others, with the blessings of our freedom. (Galatians 5:13 PDCP)

Bottom Line: I truly believe that The Church in America has been especially blessed, even to the extreme, for the specific divine purpose and reason of having the great ability to bless and reach those who are less fortunate. I believe that Papa God has blessed and given The Church in The United States of America a fiduciary trust. He desires that we be and do good, by being honorable and faithful steward servants, in utilizing what He’s given us to reach and bless those, first, who are amongst us, then, those who are outside the church, and finally, to the rest of the world. So, we’ve been given a choice of how we are going to use our new found freedom and blessings: #1) We can choose to enjoy and use the blessings of our freedom, by spending the biggest portion upon ourselves, building our own kingdoms, by satisfying and fulfilling our own desires, goals and dreams. Or, instead, #2) We can choose to use our new found freedom to love and serve others, by meeting their needs, helping them with an opportunity to get on the path that enables them to experience freedom, and then, to succeed in life; thereby, fulfilling Papa God’s commands, His will and purpose, and one of the main reasons He granted us freedom in the first place, which, if we’ll do, will be highly pleasing to Him. And that’s a good thing! Let’s begin to inquire of The LORD, as to what He wants us to spend and use our freedom and blessings on, rather than always lavishly spending it all upon ourselves. Blessings…
