SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 12/01- “Time To Buck Up, Soul!” (Psalms 42:11)
Premise Question: Should we really attempt to have a serious conversation with our own soul, when we are down and out, discouraged and disturbed?
“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!” (Psalms 42:11 NLT)
Why, O my soul, and for what earthly reason could there ever be an occasion, on which I would ever allow you to stay in a state of despondency; spiraling downward, feeling dejected, disheartened and depressed? Why, O my soul, would you perpetually be distressed, disrupted and disturbed deep within the within of my inmost being; in disharmony and in complete disarray? Listen up, here’s what you should immediately do, O my soul, because it’s what I’m going to do whether you want or are even ready for me to do so! I firmly put, I resolutely place, I fasten tightly, my complete hope, faith and trust, in and upon The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty! I determinedly do this right now, by worshiping, with exuberant and joyful praise, The LORD GOD Almighty, my Redeemer and my most merciful, loving and full of gracious favor, Papa God! (Psalms 42:11 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Yes! We need to have a serious conversation with our soul, expressing to our soul, that no matter what is going on in our life, there is nothing in this world that we should fear or be worried about. For He, The LORD Himself, will quiet and put us at perfect peace, deep within the within of the inmost part of our being.
And, He, and He alone, is able to truly satisfy the hunger, quench the thirst and fulfill the deepest yearnings, longings and desires of our souls!
It’s time, children of Papa God, to tell our souls to buck up! Blessings… http://www.theshipministry.com papadoncox.wordpress.com #donotbesadbegladputyourhopeinTheLORD
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 11/11- “Salvation Is Our Ultimate Reward!” (1 Peter 1:8-9)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 11/11- “Salvation Is Our Ultimate Reward!” (1 Peter 1:8-9)
Premise Question: What is our sure and certain reward, how do we qualify for it, and what kind of affect/effect does it have on us, and produce in us, now, as well as into our eternal future and beyond?
“You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.” (1 Peter 1:8-9 NLT)
Even given the fact that you’ve never actually seen The LORD Jesus Christ in person, you still love, honor and worship Him, with everything that is within you. And though you presently are not able to see Him in the flesh, your belief, trust and unshakable faith in Him causes an explosion of joy to go off inside of you, deep within the within, of the innermost part of your being, that fills you to overflowing, with His fountain of living water, His wonderful glorious presence, which there are no words that can be uttered that will even begin to adequately express what you are receiving and experiencing from The LORD. For this is what comes forth in your life, as a consequence of yielding and surrendering to Him when you’ve placed your complete trust and faith in Him; even your redemption, the eternal salvation of your entire being—spirit, soul and body. (1 Peter 1:8-9 PDCP)
Bottom Line: All glory honor and praise belongs to The One True Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, maker of heaven and earth and everything therein and even beyond, and who has provided a way of escape from death, hell and the grave, deliverance from all sin, darkness, captivity and bondage, for all those who will call upon The Name of The LORD, by placing their complete trust, hope, faith and reliance in and on The Name of The LORD—Jesus Christ!
Our sure and certain reward is eternal salvation—the total and complete redemption of our spirit soul and body! We are saved…regeneration of our spirit…we are being saved…sanctification of our soul…we will be saved, glorification of our body.
We are pre-qualified for our reward, as long as we simply put our complete reliance, faith, trust and hope in Him, by calling upon His Name—Jesus Christ, confessing our sin and believing in our heart that Jesus is The LORD.
The affect/effect that this decision to trust The LORD Jesus Christ with our eternal soul, is one of total exultation, outrageous celebration, completely enjoyable, being so full of joy that it is impossible to describe with mere words; for it is so wonderfully glorious that no amount of words or any type or kind of words expressed would do it justice, as it is far beyond our capability to do so! Our decision to trust in The LORD produces in us an assurance and peace that surpasses all comprehension and understanding!
Therefore, rejoice, celebrate, take delight, for our resplendent, being more than marvelous, magnificently brilliant, redemptive salvation, our ultimate reward, is drawing nigh! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 10/08- “Get High On The Rock That Won’t Crack—Jesus Christ, The Solid Rock!” (Isaiah 26:4)
Premise Question: Is there any other Rock, upon which we can stand and be absolutely assured of our eternal salvation, than on The Everlasting Rock, The LORD GOD Almighty—Jesus Christ?
“Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.”
(Isaiah 26:4 NLT)
Completely rely on, by placing all of your hope and faith, from this day forward, in The LORD GOD Almighty; believing with certitude, in the truth and knowledge of His unsurpassed integrity, strength and ability, that was established before time began and will last long after time ends, even beyond forevermore. For The LORD GOD Almighty Himself, not using a proxy, substitute or surrogate, is The Almighty Papa God, The Rock of Ages, our eternal Protector and Redeemer, The Everlasting Rock of our eternal salvation! (Isaiah 26:4 PDCP)
Bottom Line: According to Papa God’s Holy Writ, there is no other Name, by which one can be rescued, redeemed and completely set free, being fully assured of salvation and eternal life! For it’s His Name and His Name alone, that can absolutely be trusted, with complete certitude and unreserved implicitly, and shall therefore, forever and always be trustworthy, reliable and utterly dependable; never relenting, giving up or quitting on us.
Our response to Him not ever giving up or quitting on us, should be reciprocated, in kind, with us not ever relenting, quitting or giving up on Him, who is ever faithful, by never stopping, but always believing, always trusting and relying on Him; putting our complete faith and hope in Him, with our whole heart, soul and mind, and then, by serving Him with all of our strength and might!
For there truly is not another human person or divine entity, that can save and rescue us from darkness, to bring us into His glorious light and set us completely free from the chains and shackles of sin!
Remember, some put their trust in chariots and horses, but we choose to put our trust in Papa God!
So, let’s choose to get high on The Rock that won’t crack—Jesus Christ, The Solid Rock of Ages, The Everlasting LORD GOD Almighty! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/10- “The Hope Of Humankind, Jesus Christ—The Sovereign LORD Of All!” (Romans 15:13)
Premise Question: Who is the true source of real joy and perfect peace, and what are we, The Company of The Redeemed specifically called, with expectation, to do with it?
“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 NLT)
May Papa God, The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, who is the fountainhead of all comfort, strength and hope, fill you beyond capacity, even to overflowing, with His great rejoicing joy and His harmonious tranquil peace; as you place your complete believing faith and utter reliance upon Him, Jesus Christ—The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty of all. In so doing, you, shall continually be a refreshing, effervescent flowing, fountain of life, filled with real hope, for all those who are full of anguish and despair, feeling dismayed and discouraged, rejected and dejected, desperately barren and brittle, dehydrated, drained and dry, without any prospects of real hope upon the horizon. This real hope, that fills you to overflowing, is The Blessed and only real Hope of humankind. And, it will never disappoint, falter nor fail, for it is fully endowed and supplied, by the overwhelming, more than sufficient power, of The Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 PDCP)
Bottom Line: We, each and every member of The Company of The Redeemed, are all called to be filled completely, even to overflowing, with the releasing, refreshing joy and perfect peace of Papa God; who is the veritable fountainhead and true life-giving source of real hope.
Then, we are to carry this precious presence of the Blessed Hope of refreshing and renewing joy, that is within us, to a world that lacks hope and is desperately searching for relief, refreshing, renewal, with a sense of wanting to know why they are here, where and how they fit in, and what their reason and purpose for being here is.
Let’s all become more aware and in tune, making sure that we are being filled to overflowing, each and every day, with the veritable presence of The Holy Spirit—The Blessed Hope, in our lives, so that we will become an effervescent fountain of life, that flows out of our lives and into the world; touching the hurting, the helpless, the hopeless, the needy, the searching and the discouraged and dismayed, with the renewing and refreshing joy and perfect peace of Papa God, The only real Hope of humankind, The Blessed Hope—Jesus Christ, who is the true, life-giving, Fountain of Life! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/25- “Seeking The LORD Yields Great Benefits!” (Psalms 34:10)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/25- “Seeking The LORD Yields Great Benefits!” (Psalms 34:10)
Premise Question: When has the combination of youth, perfect health, great wealth, competent expertise, lots of experience, personal associations and prestigious influence, ever assured or guaranteed someone’s success in completely overcoming or avoiding entirely, the myriad of difficult situations, circumstances and challenges that life can and does present to everyone?
“Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing.” (Psalms 34:10 NLT)
It matters not how young and virile you are, nor the level of vim, vigor and vitality you exhibit and may well be at in your life, or even the amount of talent, treasure and temerity you have amassed and possess; because, you are still going to eventually be subject to the vagaries and vicissitudes of life—grow weak and have a hunger and thirst, that nothing in this world has the ability to satisfy nor quench. But, those who ardently seek The LORD GOD Almighty, with a fierce fervency, will never be deficient or have a lack of provision of anything that is good, necessary or needed to survive and thrive, not only in this life, but in the life to come, as well. (Psalm 34:10 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Not having any combination of, nor even if someone was fortuitous enough to have a combination of all the advantages of youth—health, wealth, expertise, experience, associations and influences, does it ever guarantee that they’ll be successful in being fully insulated against, or be able to avoid entirely, the things that can and do happen to everyone in this life, no matter who you are or from whence you came.
Having perfect health doesn’t guarantee great wealth, nor does having great wealth assure good health. For even expert doctors, with lots of expertise and experience in their field, still get sick, suffer and die.
The rich are still subject and vulnerable to losing their wealth and going broke.
The highly educated, trained and connected, have been and can still be seen at the unemployment office. And, even if someone who is related to, or has an association with, the most influential and powerful in the world, they can still be found to be lacking and living an impoverished life.
Any or all of these things can happen to anyone at anytime. It’s called life! But, whoever recognizes that it is only when one places their full trust and faith in The LORD Jesus Christ, that it is the only thing that completely guarantees and entirely assures that they will not ever lack any good thing in this life, or in the life to come!
Always remember this: seeking and trusting The LORD does, and always will, yield great benefits! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/30- “Let Papa God Repay!” (Proverbs 20:22)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/30- “Let Papa God Repay!” (Proverbs 20:22)
Premise Question: Are we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, most commonly referred to as Christians, ever supposed to take matters into our own hands and reciprocate in kind, in order to even the score, after we’ve been put upon or wronged?
Don’t say, “I will get even for this wrong.” Wait for the LORD to handle the matter. (Proverbs 20:22 NLT)
Refuse to react, by declaring with malicious intent, what you will do to others who’ve hurt, wounded, injured, caused you trouble, pain and or injustice. Rather, choose to respond to them, by waiting patiently, with a calm assurance, knowing that The LORD Himself will come to your aid—your rescue and defense, by repaying in full, those who’ve come against you, thorough and complete; for no one can repay and settle a score better than The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty! (Proverbs 20:22 PDCP)
Bottom Line: In answer to the premise question: Absolutely not!
Let The LORD repay, because He does it a lot better and is completely thorough! In saying that, though, we should not ever have the attitude of, well, The LORD says He’ll take care of it for me, so go ahead LORD! Make my day! Go get em LORD! You have my permission to obliterate them! And while You’re at it, LORD, do make sure you get em real good! And I do mean really good, with thunder bolts of lightning and everything that can come with it! Sic ’em Jesus!
Now, none of that really fits the appropriate attitude, that we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, are to display and have towards those who’ve hurt, wounded, wronged, insulted or offended us. For we should not ever relish or feed those thoughts, but should quickly perish and utterly rid ourselves of all those thoughts and attitudes!
We ought to always choose to refuse to react out of our hurt and pain, or injury and insults, that we’ve endured and received, from being mistreated, maligned, abused and wronged, by attempting to settle the score, make it right or give payback that’s due.
We are not to ever be revengeful and reciprocating, by replying or repaying in kind, with our own returns of volatile volleys, but should always choose to respond to them with kindness and grace, displaying great patience and endurance, while showing them mercy and love.
Therefore, by doing this, we will always allow and leave room for The LORD to act on our behalf.
And, we should also, always rejoice when persecuted in this fashion, for it shows that we’ve been counted worthy to be treated in the same way and manner that our LORD was!
Let Papa God Repay! After all, He will do it a lot better than we ever could ever even imagine or actually do, and then, produce righteous results and just recompense! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/26- “Hold On Tight!” (Hebrews 10:23)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/26- “Hold On Tight!” (Hebrews 10:23)
Premise Question: What is our blessed hope and the great promise that we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, are urgently, and with great insistence, compelled to grasp on to tightly and to not ever consider letting go of, no matter what may come our way?
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23 NLT)
Grasp, with a firm tight grip, never letting go of or deviating one iota from your declared profession of allegiance to the blessed, fully assured expectation of the complete realization of our hopeful promise; because, The One True Sovereign All Powerful and Most Mighty Papa God, who is reliable and worthy of our entire trust, is The One who has made this hopeful promise to us and it is He, who will do due diligence to make sure it performs and satisfies completely all that it’s promised and expected to do. (Hebrews 10:23 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Our Blessed Hope is also our Redeemer, Savior, Healer, Baptizer, Comforter, our Helper, Succor, Provider, Shepherd, Pastor, Teacher, Brother and Friend.
ForHe is The Prince of Peace, The King of Kings, The LORD of Lords and The Great I Am—who was and is and is to come!
He has rescued and set us all free from the darkness, death, despair and sin that plagues us and has brought us into the radiance of His splendid light, right into His glorious presence!
The LORD fills us with a hope and expectation that gives us full assurance, with an absolute certitude, that we shall not ever be disappointed.
He is ever Faithful and True!
He was before the beginning and will be there long after the end!
We are therefore, urgently compelled, as He is quite insistent, that we are to hold on tight and to never let go of the hope that we have. Nor are we to ever waffle, waver, vacillate or fluctuate, no matter what may come our way or what we may have to face or endure.
But we are to be ever vigilant in continuing to grasp tightly to the promise that He’s left us with, which is, that one day, we will be spending all of eternity in the very presence of His Holiness and His Glorious Light! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 04/28- “Safe And Secure, In The Arms Of The LORD!” (Proverbs 29:25)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 04/28- “Safe And Secure, In The Arms Of The LORD!” (Proverbs 29:25)
Premise Question: Is it really possible for one not to be afraid of or concerned about, what others may think of them, or in fact, could possibly do to them?
Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the LORD means safety. (Proverbs 29:25 NLT)
Giving deferential regard to the crowd, because of feelings of apprehension or distress about what they think or may do, will establish and set in one’s path a perilous trap, designed to ensnare, entangle and capture. But, when one places their complete reliance and trust upon the integrity, strength and ability of The LORD, by fully relying on Him to be faithful to His Word, it will be the wisest decision that one will ever make, and will result in one being held secure in The Arms of The LORD, in a safe place, free from all harm and jeopardy, because He, The LORD, who is watching out for everyone, is trustworthy and totally dependable! (Proverbs 29:25 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Absolutely Yes! It’s not only a possibility, but in actuality, a factual reality! For when one chooses to accept, by placing all of their hope and reliance in the fully assured promises of The LORD, who does not lie, (Numbers 23:19, Titus 1:2) will not only, not ever have any reason to be fearful of what the crowd may think of or try to do to them, but will also be completely safe and secure in the arms of The LORD.
Papa God’s Word encourages us to place our total trust and faith in Him, with our whole hearts, and to not depend upon our own understanding and insight, but to recognize and acknowledge Him for who He is, and then, He will give the needed direction and guidance in our walk and sojourn in this life.
He promises to never leave, forsake or abandon us and that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He’s not going to change His mind or intentions towards us, as He will fulfill and bring to pass every word that He has spoken and has written down. (Hebrews 13:5, 8, Isaiah 45:23)
So, be safe, secure and forever protected, in the arms of The LORD, my friends. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 10/19/15- “Don’t Be Consumed With What Tomorrow May Hold, For We Only Ever Have Today!” (Matthew 6:34)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 10/19/15- “Don’t Be Consumed With What Tomorrow May Hold, For We Only Ever Have Today!” (Matthew 6:34)
Premise Question: Why are we, as those who have been cleansed, redeemed and set free, having been justified through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, still prone to fret, worry and to being filled with anxiety; allowing our anxious thoughts to rule and consume us, about what may or may not happen tomorrow or in the future, when we have this blessed promise and admonition of The Savior, and can really only live each day, living by faith and putting our trust and hope in The LORD, as each day comes to us?
““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” (Matthew 6:34 NLT)
So, as a consequence of having all that you’ll ever have need of, in your daily life, provided to you by The LORD, you are now able to fully devote all of your attention to living life to the fullest each and every day that you’ve been given. Therefore, it is foolish then to trouble or torment yourself, by being overly concerned about whether or not your daily needs will be provided for in a future time; such as, tomorrow, which you don’t even have the ability to live in anyway; for you only have today, each new day, to live and experience your life to the fullest. And besides, the future comes what may, regardless of whether you are adequately prepared for it or not, and by the way, today, this day, the only day you will ever actually have, has sufficient concern enough all by itself. (Matthew 6:34 PDCP)
Bottom Line: We, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, can still be subject and prone to fretting, worrying and being filled and controlled by our anxious thoughts, if we dwell on them; the actual or even the potentiality for severe trouble, difficult trials and the hardships of terrible tribulation! The LORD has told us in a myriad of ways to not be afraid or to let our hearts be troubled or our emotions, situations or circumstances to rule or control us, and to not be anxious about anything, but to always put our faith, trust and hope in Him, by praying, believing and then receiving a peace and joy that is beyond our comprehension and that can only come from Him, who has promised that we would have trouble, trial and tribulation, in our lives, in this world, but to be joyful and full of cheer about it, because He has overcome this world and all of its troubles, trials and tribulations! King David, while writing one of the psalms, came to the realization that anytime he started fretting, worrying or became anxious about something, it never produced anything that was good, right or holy, and tended to only result in producing evil. So, let us trust The LORD in each day, as it comes to us, and leave tomorrow and the future in the capable, all knowing, all powerful and overcoming hands and ultimate purview of The One who holds not only tomorrow in His hands, but all of our tomorrow’s in His hands; for we only really ever have today! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 10/14/15- “When All Else Fails, He Still Remains The Same And Continues To Sustain!” (Psalms 73:26)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 10/14/15- “When All Else Fails, He Still Remains The Same And Continues To Sustain!” (Psalms 73:26)
Premise Question: Regardless of what may happen or what we may have to go through and endure in this life; what and who always remains a constant and through it all, will never abandon, forsake or let us down, but will continue to remain, forever and ever, the same?
“My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.” (Psalms 73:26 NLT)
Everything around me, including my health and my heart, may falter and fail, but The LORD GOD Almighty, is now, has been, and shall always continue to forever be, without end, the unfailing, ever refreshing, truly encouraging and renewing, joyful strong force and strength of my innermost being, deep within the within, of my heart and soul, as He shall always be, (for nothing else can even begin to fulfill or satisfy) my portion and lot in life, the epitome of all that completely fills and sustains my life. (Psalms 73:26 PDCP)
Bottom Line: There are probably, in many of our individual lives, going to be an occasion, a time, an event, situation or circumstance, whereby, we may be subject to slipping, faltering, floundering, fizzling or falling short and perhaps even completely failing; and as a result, becoming embittered because of it all, torn up on the inside, by resentfulness, malice, hate and an unforgiving heart, lacking any physical or spiritual vim, vigor or vitality, completely bankrupt and devoid of a flourishing and refreshing life. But, The LORD GOD Almighty, who is ever merciful and enduring, faithful and true, will come to our aid and rescue, when we call upon His Everlasting Name. And then, He will lift us up out of the mire and mud, stuck in the ditch, trench or chasm we’ve fallen into, and set our feet upon solid ground, even The Rock of our salvation. He then begins leading, guiding and giving us wise counsel, that directs our feet onto the path and into the way, that will bring us back into a right and holy relationship with Him and that ultimately leads us to our most glorious and divine destiny. That is why we desire Him more than we desire anything else upon this earth! He, The LORD GOD, is the quintessence of our existence, as He is our treasure trove, our wellspring of life and the secret to a thriving, more than just surviving, flourishing, completely satisfying and fulfilling existence! When all else fails around me, even when I fail, He remains ever the same, for I am His and He is mine, nothing’s ever going to change that, for He will always continue to sustain me, forever and forever, without end! Blessings…
