SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/21- “Anger Danger” (Ephesians 4:26-27)
Premise Question: What’s the problem with being angry, and is it even a sin to be angry?
And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. (Ephesians 4:26-27 NLT)
And when you become angry, about something or at someone, release it and refuse to allow anger to be the controlling factor that influences the way in which you are going to respond; for if you are controlled by your anger, then you’ll end up reacting, rather than responding, which will have the definite affect and result of not ever being able to produce anything that’s good. So, don’t ever let the enemy of your soul, the devil, gain traction or a foothold in your life, by holding on to your anger, and not letting it go, at the end of each day. Rather, empower yourself and others, by releasing it completely before the new day arrives! (Ephesians 4:26-27 PDCP)
Bottom Line: “Anger:” A spiritually debilitating disease and condition, all to often, found and allowed to flourish and operate in a believers life, and with their own reasoning, justification and rationalization, perpetuating and validating it, that when left to its own devices, will only produce devastation and destruction, leading to ultimate death! The problem with anger, is that it will never produce a harvest of righteousness, for it doesn’t have the capacity to do so. And, when left on its own accord, to foment and fester, will create an atmosphere of fear, intimidation, manipulation, mistrust, confusion, and will then attempt to govern and operate with threats and through coercive control. An angry person, thus, should not ever expect to produce a harvest of righteousness, even if they are in “the right” about something; for when anger is allowed to be the controlling factor, in a person’s life and decisions, it will always lead to sin and sin will always ultimately lead to destruction and death. It’s always more blessed to be righteous than right! Walk in release, for when you are adamant about claiming your rights, all you end up doing is starting your unholy fights! Some might want to point out that Jesus was angry when He went into the Temple and turned over tables and whipped and threw out the money changers, (John 2:15) but, His anger came from a sinless, righteous, Holy indignation, which we obviously don’t have and never will have, because of our sinful nature; therefore, we are strongly encouraged, that when we are angry, for anger is a normal human emotion and we will get angry, that we are never to hold on to our anger, allowing it to foment, fester and grow, with devastating results. Rather, though, we are to release our anger each and every day, making sure that, by the end of the day, it is gone, without any residual lingering effect, that would influence and impact the next new day. An angry person will not be able to have a new beginning, a fresh start, to begin the new day. Now, is it a sin to be angry? No, but it is a sin when we stay angry, by becoming an angry person who operates and lives life out of their anger! Angry people are not happy nor pleasant people to be around and are actually dangerous, as well as being (diseased) contagious! Stay away from them! Don’t have anything, or as little as possible, to do with them! (Proverbs 29:22) And, refuse to allow anger to control you, in any way, shape or fashion, but choose to release it each and every day, not allowing it to foment and fester, as a pollutant in your innermost being—producing roots of bitterness, (Hebrews 12:15) which will eventually pollute your entire body, soul and spirit, as well as, those around you, and will ultimately lead to devastation, death and destruction. Anger, if not dealt with and released, will always produce death! While releasing anger, on the other hand, will always create and produce an atmosphere of love, joy, peace, trust, stability, and then, have the blessed effect of establishing a thriving and flourishing righteous life for everyone. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/10- “Controlled By Love—The Love Of Christ!” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)
Premise Question: Is it a real possibility, being that it would actually happen, for authentic believers, (true followers of Christ) to overcome their old nature, (their corrupt spiritual DNA they are born with) and thus, no longer live unto and solely for themselves, but be transformed, by taking on a new nature, (the perfect spiritual DNA of Christ) and live a life that successfully emulates the life of Christ?
Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. (2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NLT)
Whether you think we are crazy or not, it matters not, because what really matters, is that we allow the love of Christ to control what we say, what we do, and how we live. In as much as, we are fully persuaded that Christ laid His life down, in death, upon the cross, for all of humankind, we are, furthermore, also fully compelled and persuaded that we all have now lain our old lives down, dying to the sinful nature we were born into this world with. Understand this; Christ chose to die for all of humankind, so that anyone who chooses to be transformed, by receiving and accepting a new nature and life from The LORD Jesus Christ, will no longer live their lives unto and for themselves, but will rather, live their lives in total submission to the will and purpose of Christ, Whom offered up His life upon the cross and then, rose from the grave victorious, for all of humankind. (2 Corinthians 5:14-15 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Yes! It is entirely possible, and should be the norm of what is taking place, in all our lives, and for all to see; that being, the transformation and transition from our old nature, the corrupt spiritual DNA we were born into this world with, to a new nature, the one provided for us through and by the death and resurrection of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, and the empowering and enabling of His Spirit; which is His perfect divine spiritual DNA. But, in order for this transformation and transition to happen, we, as authentic believers and followers of Christ, must choose to yield ourselves completely, no longer being controlled by our old sinful nature, but now being controlled by the divine nature and love of Christ. In order for this to happen, we must first die to our old spiritually corrupt DNA nature, and then, be transformed, by coming alive to the new spiritually divine nature of Christ. For if we are still operating out of our old corrupt DNA nature, then we are not living out of our new divine nature, and therefore, will not produce what is good, right and holy, but will only produce according to our old nature, which is spiritually corrupt! So, for Christ’s sake, and ultimately your sake, choose to die to self and the old corrupt spiritual DNA, and be transformed, by coming alive, being reborn, with a new spiritual divine nature, the DNA of Christ! Our DNA- Damned Nature Already…Christ’s DNA- Divine Nature Always…Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/28-“There’s Only Two Options Available To Us As Believers!” (Romans 8:6-8)
Premise Question: Given the ramifications and resulting repercussions, why would anyone, with any modicum amount of biblical knowledge or acumen, give themselves over to being influenced and controlled by their base sinful nature, rather than submitting and completely yielding themselves over to the influence and control of The Holy Spirit?
So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. (Romans 8:6-8 NLT)
So, when you allow your base sinful nature, the one you were born with, to be the controlling dominate influence in your everyday life, by being the determining factor in your decision making and actions you take; it will always lead you to the same place, devastation and death. There is a preferred alternative you can choose though, as a believer and member of The Company of The Redeemed; it is the one with the greatest benefits for now and eternal blessings to come. It is when you allow The Holy Spirit to be the controlling influence in your everyday life, for when you choose this path, it leads to eternal life, a life that’s filled with joy and peace. Please understand this: your base sinful nature is always going to be an antagonistic, adversarial enemy of Papa God, because it has never and won’t ever come into compliance with Papa God’s righteous laws. And, one more thing, this is the very reason why those who persist in their arrogance, insolence and incorrigible self-determined course of following their base sinful nature, will not ever be pleasing to Papa God. (Romans 8:6-8 PDCP)
Bottom Line: It’s really not too difficult of a proposition to accept, understand and then follow! You either choose the option where you’re controlled by your own sinful thoughts and desires, that of your base sinful nature, the one you were born with, we will call this option “BSN,” which stands for, Base Sinful Nature, and always leads to the same place every time; your stubborn, self-determination, which then leads you down the path of depression and despair, with the evidential fruit of you acting out, with self-destructive tendencies and behaviors; which brings utter devastation and ultimately eternal death upon yourself. Or, you can choose the preferred alternative option, the one where you yield, in humble submission, to the influence and control of The Holy Spirit, that now, through regeneration lives within you. We shall call this option “BA,” which stands for, Blessed Adoption, as it too, will always lead to the same place every time, that being, eternal life and peace, with joy and all the blessings and benefits of being adopted by The LORD! Our goal and aim, in life, should always be, that of being pleasing to The LORD! And this will only be accomplished when we say no to the “BSN” option of being influenced and controlled by our base sinful nature, and say yes to the “BA” option, the blessed adoption option of being influenced and controlled, led and directed, by The Holy Spirit within us, as members of The Company of The Redeemed! So, as believers, there is no other option or way that we should choose, ever! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/24/15- “Anger Is For Fools!” (Ecclesiastes 7:9)
Premise Question: How does one control and moderate their temperament, so as to, mollify and modify their angry outbursts, and keep their composure?
“Control your temper, for anger labels you a fool.” (Ecclesiastes 7:9 NLT)
It’s an absolute imperative that you not be a reactionary person, one who is easily incited in your emotions to “flying off the handle” with a desire to immediately strike back in anger at someone or something, at every turn in life. Refuse to waste your time, energy, resources and talents on being an angry person, for anger will completely destroy all the promise and potential of everything that is good, with the ending result of you being known as someone who resides in the company of fools. (Ecclesiastes 7:9 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Learn to deliberately exercise restraint, holding in check your tongue, emotions and reactionary angry outbursts, by having trained yourself, with the efficacious help of The LORD, to always be measured and balanced in your response to things that happen and also in your response to others. Always stay composed, with the self being controlled by The Spirit of Christ living inside you, so when you respond to things and others, you’re doing it in an appropriate fashion and manner, within the proper limits and accepted spiritual boundaries, rather than being controlled by your present situation or circumstances, or your mental, physical, emotional state of mind or even your attitudinal disposition, by having an extreme and intense reaction, with the resulting consequences of losing all sense of propriety and composure!
Humility is always going to be the most prudent and wise way to comport ourselves, for it will greatly enhance our ability to respond appropriately, rather than becoming angry and reactionary. Choosing to be humble also enables us to mollify (soften and reduce), as well as, modify (alter and lessen), having the capability to make the adjustments necessary, in order to stay composed and under control, without becoming angry and ill tempered, which causes us to have and exhibit an angry reaction, which then leads to others looking at and perceiving us as foolish, imbalanced, and perhaps, somewhat crazy. Finally, humility will not only help us keep our composure, but will keep us in the serene presence of The LORD’S perfect peace and harmonious tranquility. Remember, anger is for fools, not the people of Papa God! Therefore, refuse to be identified as a member of the company of the fools, by controlling your temper, with The LORD’S help, at all times! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/08/15- “Control Your Tongue And Live!” (Proverbs 13:3)
Premise Question: What must we do to control our tongue?
Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything. (Proverbs 13:3 NLT)
When one is able to have control over the content of what they allow to escape out of their heart and mind, slipping over their tongue, through their lips and out of their mouth; it will have the wonderful effect of protecting and maintaining their continued existence, and will fill up their life up with an effervescence of joy and peace. Conversely, though, when there is no restraint or thoughtful consideration, but an acting with haste, with a total lack of prudence, while articulating, it will result in arriving at a place of certain downfall; producing a life that’s ravaged, resulting in a thoroughly and utterly devastating complete loss, irretrievably injured, without any possibility of repair! (Proverbs 13:3 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Choose to always speak words that promote life, encouragement and refreshing; words that will build up, repair and renew, not words that foment death and despair, that shred, tear apart, tear down, demolish and destroy. Don’t allow words to come forth, out of your mouth, impulsively, unchecked and unbridled, lacking propriety and appropriateness, causing a spontaneous combustion that can turn into a conflagration, having the potential to obliterate and destroy everything and everyone within range of hearing and then, once it spreads, everywhere else it’s carried to and repeated! It’s much more prudent to have a good, wise and strong filter, with a shut off valve at the ready. I can remember hearing some of these sayings in years gone by: “Put a lid on it!” “Zip your lip!” “Think before you speak!” “Be careful little mouth what you speak!” “Put a guard on that tongue and lock it down!” “Zip it, lock it and throw away the key!” “Measure twice, cut once!” A variation of that one is: “Be very careful before you speak, measuring every word carefully before you choose to speak, so you won’t throw caution to the wind and speak thoughtlessly and carelessly; therefore, measure your thoughts and words twice before you speak them out!” The problem arises when we allow inappropriate words to escape across our tongues and out of our mouths. But the root of the problem and the real issue is what is already entrenched, fomenting and waiting for an opportunity to release and express itself, in our thoughts and heart. For as The LORD Himself said: You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say. (Matthew 12:34 NLT) So, if we don’t want to mis-speak, which can produce unwanted, chaotic and destructive results; then we must be willing to deal with what is in our heart, in an appropriate way and manner and in a prudently chosen, appropriate time and place, along with wise counsel and the powerful agent of forgiveness, walking in release and applying the entirety of Papa God’s Holy Scriptures, to our life, in every situation, circumstance and in all our different and various relationships! Remember, the mouth will, perhaps inadvertently, at an inopportune time or occasion, eventually speak what is hidden in your heart and thoughts. So, as I am wont to say: “Keep your heart free of debris, flush the flesh and stay refreshed!” Blessings…
