SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 12/02- “We Are Papa God’s Masterpiece—Saved By Grace—Created To Do Good Works!” (Ephesians 2:8-10)
Premise Question: How did you become a legitimate member of The Company of The Redeemed, who are you, as a member of the Company of The Redeemed, and what are you to be doing, as a member of The Company of The Redeemed?
“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT)
For it is only because of Papa God’s unmerited favor, kindness and great love shown towards you, that you’ve been rescued and redeemed from certain death, becoming an accepted and recognized member, in right standing, in The Company of The Redeemed; and this, through your personal confession of faith and belief in His Son, Jesus Christ, when you placed your complete trust and reliance on Him. And even then, it’s not based on anything that’s been generated by your good behavior, actions or deeds, for there’s not any sort of effort, work accomplishment or achievement, that you can do or attempt to do, that will ever suffice; as it is indeed, solely based entirely upon His love for you and His free merciful gift of salvation, provided by and through the mighty works of Papa God Himself and His Son. He’s done it in this way, so that there wouldn’t ever be any personal aggrandizement to be claimed by anyone; for there’s no boasting allowed, except in The LORD and what He has done. For we, all members of The Company of The Redeemed, are the unique and perfectly designed masterpiece, created by the hands of the Master Himself, our Papa God Almighty in Heaven, brought forth out of darkness and renewed by His Son—Jesus Christ, for the purpose of doing His divine works of righteousness; that Papa God had in His mind, already prepared in waiting, for each of us to do, long before we were even members of The Company of The Redeemed. (Ephesians 2:8-10 PDCP)
Bottom Line: You are saved by grace, through your faith, but not on your own, for it is a gift that comes only from Papa God—The Heavenly Father; which can’t be earned or bought, but should be sought, so that you’ll be caught, to then be taught, in order, to do and accomplish, with The LORD’s help, the divine work, will and purpose, that’s been prepared and is ready in waiting, for you to begin to do. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/09- “Papa God’s Masterpiece!” (Ephesians 2:10)
Premise Question: Who of us has never struggled or been somewhat in a quandary or perhaps even have become frustrated, with the questions of; “does my individual life have significant meaning and for what specific purpose am I here and alive at this particular moment in time?”
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:10 NLT)
The art and skill it took to make us what we are, a unique, one of a kind creation, is beyond our comprehension, for we are wonderfully shaped, by the work of Papa God’s hands, brought into being out of His own imaginative design, made new in Christ, in order to perform honorable, virtuous, worthy of excellence, righteous good works; which by the way, was already in Papa God’s mind and divinely designed, prepared plan for us, as believers, well in advance and even before we were saved or yet even born into this world, so as, to carry out and do, by bringing to fruition, His ultimate purpose and perfect plan of reconciliation for all of humankind! (Ephesians 2:10 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Papa God knew us before we were ever formed in our mother’s womb, and therefore, has created each one of us to live purposeful, and meaningful lives, filled with doing honorable, virtuous, worthy of excellence, righteous good works, that will fulfill His divine purpose and will for our lives, and in the process, bring glory and honor to His Name.
Our lives must have purpose and meaning, in order to truly enjoy and experience the fullness of all this life has to offer. And, if your still here, that means you’ve still got something to do and be, so, as long as you’re still here, no matter your age or circumstances, there’s still time to fulfill your life’s calling and purpose; and that, with significant and incredibly impactive meaning, for this life and the life to come!
We can only accomplish this, with the help of The LORD, the guidance of The Holy Spirit, and of course, by doing the will of Papa God. Then, when we do this, it will create and leave a legacy for all those who come after us, to follow and emulate.
The greatest thing that we will ever accomplish in this life is to do the will of Papa God, by allowing Him to fulfill His divine purpose in and for our lives.
Choose to be Papa God’s blessing of refreshing, by cherishing and nourishing others, then you shall always experience the flourishing of The LORD!
Allow the Plan of The LORD to be accomplished in your life, so that, at the end of your life, you will hear Papa God say to you: “Well done my greatly beloved child and most faithful servant, enter now into all that I’ve prepared and have waiting for you!”
And remember, greatly beloved child and faithful servant of Papa God, you are His Masterpiece! Blessings…
