SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 11/19- “Real Delight And True Desires!” (Psalm 37:4)

Premise Question: How does one take real delight in The LORD?

“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.”
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Be filled with rapturous joy and gleeful delight, as you enter into, being fully engaged in, the presence of The LORD, and He, The LORD GOD Almighty Himself, shall lavishly endow and bestow upon you, by fulfilling your deepest longings and cravings, that, with assured certitude, shall bring you great satisfaction and enjoyment, with perfect peace, to the innermost and deepest part of your unique disposition and inclination, at the very center of who you are and were created to be. (Psalm 37:4 PDCP)

Bottom Line: When one truly takes delight in The LORD, they will spend copious amounts of time with Him, in His word, in prayer, communing, meditating, listening, learning, honoring, praising and worshiping Papa God, with their whole heart; thus, developing a close and intimate relationship with Him. Then, as a direct result, The LORD will grant to them the true desires of their heart; the ones planted deep within them, by Papa God Himself, even before they were born into this world, in order to fulfill The LORD’s true desire, purpose and divine will for their lives. And this would bring great delight to His heart!

We all should smile more, pray more and spend more intimate time in the presence of The LORD. For when we spend more intimate time with The LORD in His presence, our prayers end up being more in line with what He wants, and definitely more powerful, and thereby, more effective, and then, we surely will, as a wonderful result, be smiling more, with real delight, as we will have so much more to smile about! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/29- “Delights And Desires!” (Psalms 37:4)

Premise Question: What does it mean to take delight in The LORD, and just how does one do it?

“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.”
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Be filled with rapturous joy and gleeful delight, as you enter into, being fully engaged in, the presence of The LORD, and He, The LORD GOD Almighty Himself, shall lavishly endow and bestow upon you, by granting and fulfilling your deepest longings and cravings, that, with assured certitude, shall bring you great satisfaction, fulfillment, refreshing and utter enjoyment, with perfect peace, being established in the innermost and deepest part of your unique disposition and inclination, at the very center of who you are and were divinely created, with purpose, to become. (Psalm 37:4 PDCP) Blessings…

Bottom Line: The true and authentic understanding of what it means to take delight in The LORD and how one truly does it, starts with our heart and attitude towards Him—in giving Him the honor, respect and reverential awe that is due Him—in how we choose to celebrate and cherish Him and His matchless, being the most magnificent and splendidly glorious Name, which is above and beyond every other name known and unknown to humankind—in our gleeful rejoicing and in our abandoned joyful praise and worship offered to Him, as He is to reign supreme above everyone and everything else in our lives—in our devotion and service to Him, offering, submitting and yielding our time, treasure and talent unto Him for the accomplishment and fulfillment of His divine purpose and will for our lives, which will, as a direct result of our actions and attitude, be absolutely pleasing to Him, as well as greatly benefit us, in that He will grant us the true desires of our heart—and finally, a true and positive indication (sign) that proves that we are taking delight in The LORD is, by and through our adoration, admiration, appreciation and obedience to Him and His wonderfully perfect, life-giving Holy Word! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 09/09/15- “Genuine, Authentic, Without Any Pretense, Real Love!” (Romans 12:9-10)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/09/15- “Genuine, Authentic, Without Any Pretense, Real Love!” (Romans 12:9-10)

Premise Question: Does it ever portend or bode well for anyone who chooses to act the “big pretender” by putting on airs, feigning authenticity and playing a game of pretense and make believe, and does it or will it ever really end well, by producing a good, right, just, honorable and holy result?

“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” (‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:9-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

In order for love to be characterized as being genuinely authentic, real, faithful and true, it must be free of all hypocrisy, without any pretense, falsehood or deceit. There should be an utter abhorrence, having an extreme aversion, to all that is morally wrong, detesting every evil practice. Always making sure to adhere closely to actual reality, by embracing and holding on tight to all that is morally excellent, genuinely good and reliably righteous. Be strongly attached to one another, by exhibiting a loyal, affectionate and unfailing love towards each other, refusing to let go of one another. One more thing: always choose to honor one another, with integrity, respect and, in your actions, by joyfully preferring and considering others before yourselves. (Romans 12:9-10 PDCP)

Bottom Line: When we just pretend to love someone, no matter how it looks or sounds, we are not really loving them! Our love must be sincere. And, in the same vein, it’s not enough to say we abhor, detest and despise evil, but our thoughts, actions and behaviors must prove that we hate even the appearance of evil; and therefore, will refuse to participate in anywise, by grasping firmly and then holding onto all that is good, right and holy, without ever letting go of our convictions and devotion, no matter what may come our way! Our love for each other should always be clearly reflected in the way we honorably treat, provide for and support one another. As a matter of fact, we should be more than happy to serve one another, in what ever capacity is needed, and that, with much joy and delight! So, there should never be any pretense or faking it, in anything that we do in The Kingdom; whether it be how we approach and treat each other or in the good works of service that The LORD has ordained and purposed for us to do, in His blessed, most holy and righteous Kingdom, that He is establishing and accomplishing through us, here on earth and beyond. Let’s all choose to be genuinely authentic, without any pretense, and allow our faith to be expressed with real love towards each other and the world in which we are presently living. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 04/06/15- “Just This One Thing!” (Psalms 27:4)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 04/06/15- “Just This One Thing!” (Psalms 27:4)

Premise Question: What should we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, aspire to become, as it relates to this unique request and deep desire of the Psalmist David?

The one thing I ask of the LORD — the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. (‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭4‬ NLT)

The consummate existence and supreme experience that I am requesting of You, O LORD, for it is my ultimate quest and the thing I earnestly desire and urgently chase after; is to dwell in the place of Your manifest presence, Your heavenly abode, for every day of my earthly existence and even extending beyond my mortal existence into eternity, to always enjoy The LORD God Almighty’s excellence and His holiness, being allowed to stay in deep contemplation and thought, while ruminating and worshiping forever in The Temple of The Most High. (Psalms 27:4 PDCP)

Bottom Line: We, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, should aspire to become The LORD’s “Sanctuary of Praise” (Psalms 68:35, 27:6) “Temple of Worship” (Psalms 5:7, 138:2) “House of Prayer” (Luke 19:46, Isaiah 56:7) “House of Power” (Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:4, Ephesians 1:19) and His authentic “Household of Faith” (Galatians 6:10, Titus 3:14, James 1:27). I leave you with a scripture, which I believe, encompasses it all!

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night. Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings. I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely. (‭Psalms‬ ‭63‬:‭1-8‬ NLT) Blessings…
