SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 11/06/15- “A Healthy Dose Of Constructive Correction Is Good For Anyone And Everyone!” (Proverbs 15:31-32)

Premise Question: Why do so many of us have a difficult time receiving appropriately administered discipline; and why is it such an intense fight and colossal personal challenge for many to relent and submit to the process of allowing oneself to first, be open to intently listening and then, to be earnestly diligent, in becoming completely compliant and submissive to the constructive correction, when the resulting positive benefits always far outweigh the culminating negative consequences?

“If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise. If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding.” (‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15:31-32‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Anyone and everyone, no matter who they are or from whence they’ve come, if they will give careful and thoughtful attention, being deliberate, as well as, diligent in the application and action, in their lives, to The LORD’s life giving, redeeming reproof, will always have a place at the table of the enlightened; those that are truly wise. Those though, who persist in their rebellious ways, by rejecting or ignoring completely The LORD’s perfect instruction, administered through His loving correcting discipline, hate themselves and are self-destructive. But those who choose to surrender fully to The LORD’s loving discipline, gains insight that sustains and retains their life; which causes them to forever remain in His glorious eternal presence, our tranquil and joyous eternal home. (Proverbs 15:31-32 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Everyone of us who are born into this world are members of the same family and species known as Homo sapiens, humankind, or as multiplied millions of individuals believe, the progeny of Adam and Eve; as we are the direct descendants and blessed offspring of the first of our kind, who having been divinely designed and uniquely created with perfection and for a great purpose, by Papa God Himself, but then succumbed to temptation and sinned, thereby, falling from perfection and into a sinful state, with a sinful nature, that they have naturally passed on down to everyone wha has come after them. So, we all have come by it honestly and quite naturally, so to speak, as we all are born with the same fallen sinful nature and therefore, even at birth, already have a pre-disposed inclination, dispositional nature of resistance, rebellion, stubbornness, being obstinate and absolutely incorrigible, when it comes to appropriate discipline, training and beneficially good, constructive correction. Unfortunately for many, if when young, they do not have a correction in the direction their life is heading, by first, learning to listen, then to relent, submit and comply, (I refer to this as “corrected direction”) and then, by allowing themselves to be trained, developed, equipped and thereby, enabling them to grow to full maturity, (I call this “directed correction”) it becomes a much greater challenge later in life, and is most likely the very reason one would become so reticent, hesitant and stay downright obstinately stubborn, while having a adverse and negative reaction to discipline and correction when confronted and held accountable for any of their behaviors, actions or attitudes. It is our embracing of and appropriate response to constructive correction and discipline, that determines the outcome of our life, who we may be living with, under what conditions we will be living, whether or not we will be living in harms way or growing in wisdom and understanding and enjoying a peaceful and flourishing life. So remember, a healthy dose of constructive correction and appropriate disciple never really hurt anyone, although, at the time, while it is being administered! it may not feel good, be pleasant or very agreeable, but in the end, it will do its good work and purpose and produce a harvest of righteousness! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 09/17/15- “The LORD Disciplines His Own, Because He Loves Them!” (Proverbs 3:11-12)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/17/15- “The LORD Disciplines His Own, Because He Loves Them!” (Proverbs 3:11-12)

Premise Question: Who of us really enjoys being disciplined, corrected, reprimanded and reproved; but, what would be the outcome if everyone that needed an appropriate rebuke, choose to truly, with joy, fully embrace the process, in an attitude of humility and complete submission?

“My child, don’t reject the LORD’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the LORD corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.” (‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:11-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

My dearly beloved precious child, decide right now, to never refuse or ever reject The LORD God Almighty’s very deliberate and diligent, careful and loving, nurturing chastening of you, and also, choose to not ever become bitter or resentful of His faithful, considerate concern and resolute reproof of you; for it’s truly only done for your greatest good and benefit. Do always remember, that just like an earthly father will administer loving correction to his own children, that he delights in; so too, does Papa God only bring His merciful and loving correction upon those children whom He joyfully delights to lavish His gracious favor and unfailing love upon. (Proverbs 3:11-12 PDCP)

Bottom Line: One of the most difficult lessons, that everyone must learn, is the great value and tremendous blessings that loving, appropriate and consistent discipline brings and adds to a person’s life experience. Although it may seem quite difficult during the time the necessary correction is being administered, as it may be extremely hard to endure; once it has run its course, the wonderful, useful and greatly beneficial fruit that discipline produces in one’s life, is not only a benefit to the individual, but also to those they may come into contact with and have interaction with, in various forms and different ways. Remember, that The LORD never wastes anything that may happen to us or that we may go through, due to our own behavioral choices, decisions and actions or as a result of others and what they may do, that ends up having a direct affect upon our own lives; The LORD will utilize all of it, in shaping, making, maturing and growing the individual, in order to fully accomplish His purpose, will and the unique mission in life that each of us are called to do. So, child of Papa God, don’t ever reject, disdain or be upset when The LORD disciplines you, who are His very beloved and greatly cherished very own children, whom He joyfully delights in; and therefore will absolutely correct, discipline and appropriately reprimand, as needed, as well as, whenever and wherever it’s necessary! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/06/15- “Live Your Life With Eternity In View! (Colossians 3:1-2)

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/06/15- “Live Your Life With Eternity In View!” (Colossians 3:1-2)

Premise Question: So, now that we, as sealed members of The Company of The Redeemed, have a completely new lease and perspective on life, along with the promised and positively blessed prospects for our guaranteed, absolutely certain, joy filled future of a perfect and full of peace everlasting life; what are we doing with this amazing truth, we know as, the Good News?

“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.” (Colossians‬ ‭3:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Since the time of the resurrection of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, you too have now been raised to a new life, with Christ, being removed out of darkness and despair, into His glorious light and pure joy, with the ultimate result of being rescued from eternal death into eternal life. Therefore, you ought to now choose to set your earthly affections and attentions, your intentions, desires and ambitions, on heavenly things; things that are immutable and eternal, where Jesus Christ is ruling and reigning in His place of honor, right beside His Father, our Papa God, who is The Sovereign Almighty God. You should now, therefore, fix your thoughts, your goals, aspirations and dreams, with a laser focus, on being fully consumed with Heavenly things, that have intrinsic value, not earthly things, which are temporal and filled with the cares of this life, your daily needs, challenges and worries alike. Act like you’re living life with eternity in view, don’t allow the here and now to be the dominating focal point! (Colossians 3:1-2 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Once we’ve allowed the seismic shift, of the completely transformative change, that redemption and salvation has upon our lives, to take full effect; then we must take a different approach, having a brand new perspective and positive outlook on our present life, with a hopeful and joyful expectation for our future everlasting life. In our daily life, we need to practice being positive, thankful, appreciative, always choosing to express sincere gratitude, grace and mercy towards others. We should accept, as truth, that no matter what we may experience or have to endure, during our time spent here on earth, we can relax, be comforted, encouraged and refreshed with, “and this too shall pass” and therefore, can not begin to be compared to our joy filled and glorious, hope filled future! We ought to take the long view of things and not focus on the short term and present conditions of our lives. Taking the long view means that we will deliberately choose to focus on the things of Heaven, things that have intrinsic value and are eternal, as they shall never diminish or pass away; rather than being consumed and overwhelmed by the immediate and the temporal, which do not have any intrinsic or eternal value, but shall absolutely one day pass away and be no more. Just a quick word of exhortation; don’t ever deny, reject, mock or minimize the miraculous in your life! Always choose to live your life with eternity in your sights! Take the long view, dismiss the short sighted view, and choose to share the truth of the Good News with everyone! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/27/15- “Don’t Get Stuck On Stupid!” (Proverbs 12:1)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/27/15- “Don’t Get Stuck On Stupid!” (Proverbs 12:1)

Premise Question: What is the prudently wise, being the utmost effective way in producing the most preferred and desired results, in order for a person to learn, develop, grow and mature spiritually, emotionally, socially and then, to also have a high degree of mental acumen?

To learn, you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ NLT)

No matter who you are, if you’ll relish discipline, by fully embracing and allowing it to thoroughly train and equip you, in order to develop obedience in you, and, if you’ll be a lover of knowledge, by cherishing the principles of truth, it will increase your insight and understanding; causing an awareness in you of the great benefits derived from being one who loves, rather than disdains and despises discipline. But, if you are one who dislikes intensely, having an extreme hostility for and a detestable aversion of correction, by not yielding yourself to it, and then, allowing the necessary and appropriate remedy, along with any properly proposed adjustment to be applied to your wrongful thinking, inappropriate behavior or actions; then, you are simply quite foolish, without any sense, common or otherwise, and can therefore, be identified as being just plain stupid. (Proverbs 12:1 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Whatever walk or ilk a person comes from in life, there is going to come a time in their lives where they can no longer feign being ignorant or unaware. There may be a time in their lives though, that they are unaware that they’re even unaware! But once they’ve become aware, and been given the opportunity, through discipline and correction, to gain knowledge, understanding and insight, so as not to be unaware and ignorant any longer, they must necessarily take full responsibility for their thoughts, actions and behaviors. For when a person becomes aware and then chooses to not let go of their ignorant ways of thinking, with the accompanying behaviors, they can, at that time, be considered to be a stupid fool! It’s therefore, an absolute imperative, that in order to learn and acquire the knowledge needed to develop, mature and grow, in all areas of life, a person should embrace and love the discipline and correcting process; for it is, without a doubt, the most judiciously prudent way and will have the greatest effect, while producing the ultimate and most desired results. There’s an old saying: “You can’t fix stupid!” So don’t get stuck on stupid, by hating correction and discipline. Ignorance can be corrected and ultimately fixed, but there’s pretty much no hope for the belligerently stupid. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 05/28/15- “The Blessings Of Discipline!” (Hebrews 12:11)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/28/15- “The Blessings Of Discipline!” (Hebrews 12:11)

Premise Question: How can something that hurts so bad, produces lots of pain and anguish and is extremely difficult to withstand and go through, be so enjoyable, for those who are willing to endure the process?

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ NLT)

Initially, at the very moment of receiving, then experiencing a severe and strong instructive reprimand of corrective chastening, it’s not going to be enjoyable, agreeable, nor in anyway pleasant, but excruciatingly difficult, exacting, seeming unreasonable, perhaps even grossly excessive and extortionate. After awhile though, with the passing of time, it becomes quite apparent, because of what is brought into existence, as a direct result of The Lord’s chastening, that it shall yield a veritable wonderful supply of upright, morally excellent, virtuous righteous living, free from strife, anxiety and dissension, characterized by harmony and tranquillity, for all those who choose to allow the instruction of The Lord to impact them to their core, developing in them the practice of righteous behavior. (Hebrews 12:11 PDCP)

Bottom Line: The chastening of The LORD, that inflicts suffering and pain, and perhaps causes us to experience discomfort, is divinely designed to be administered in just the right amount, with love, that ends up producing a harvest of righteousness in our lives, for our benefit and The LORD’S ultimate glory. When we submit ourselves to His loving care and reproving process, He then, is able to make the necessary alterations and modifications to our lives, in order to effect the complete transformation that must take place. We are forever changed and improved, for the good, through intense training, practice and instruction, even a rigorous regimen, at times, that may emulate a soldier’s basic training for the military; but, which cultivates within us a well oiled, flourishing, satisfying and deeply mature personal relationship with Papa God. There is an old familiar saying: “No pain no gain!” It is quite applicable, as the pain we experience from the intense training in righteousness, produces and develops strength, great insight and wisdom, knowledge, patience, endurance, perseverance, understanding, confidence and assurance, as well as, our resolve, in being resolute, our ability to think properly, see things clearly and make right and honorable decisions, not to mention that it also brings us much joy and peace and a sense of wonder, thanksgiving and the incredible accomplishment of Papa God’s divine purpose and will for our lives. We all desperately need the correction of The LORD in our lives, and once we have it, we will, on an ongoing basis, truly experience His “corrected direction” and His “directed correction” to the amazement of not only ourselves, but everyone else, as well! It really is a blessing and a great honor to receive the loving correction and discipline of The LORD! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 05/26/15- “The Joy Of Discipline!” (Psalms 94:12-13)

Posted on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/26/15- “The Joy Of Discipline!” (Psalms 94:12-13)

Premise Question: Why is it, that those who are disciplined by The LORD, are full of His joy and completely satisfied, in the process?

Joyful are those you discipline, LORD, those you teach with your instructions. You give them relief from troubled times until a pit is dug to capture the wicked. (‭Psalms‬ ‭94‬:‭12-13‬ NLT)

Blissfully and exuberantly happy, full of joy, completely contented and exorbitantly fortunate are those You choose to train, equip, chastise and exercise authority over, Sovereign LORD God Almighty; those You choose to impart wonderful revelation knowledge of and instruction in Your perfect and established commands; You, Oh LORD, bestow and confer upon them Your great deliverance and release, from onerous times of distressing vexing afflictions and agitating harassments, even creating a place to capture, overwhelm and then hold, those who are morally reprehensible, the wickedly evil. (Psalm 94:12-13 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Understanding and accepting the premise, that The LORD only disciplines those that are His own and are loved by Him; discipline is not ever to be characterized as punishment or judgement, but to be seen as a critically important part of the process of growing, learning, being prepared, instructed and made ready for the divine purposes and will of Papa God. His very instructions/commands bring us to life and then fills us with an overwhelming joy for living a life that will be pleasing to Him! His discipline is intentionally intense training in righteousness, so we should therefore, always be thankful, and gratefully embrace the process of learning that sculpts and molds us to His liking, and then rejoice and be glad, while The LORD administers His loving discipline, for eventually, if we are patient and endure His discipline, we will be completely whole and mature, lacking nothing. The process will include, learning to hike and traverse difficult mountains, enduring the climb, in order to reach the summit and take in the breathtaking view, only to then navigate the descent into the valley below, trudging and slogging through the depths of the valley of death and despair, as we are being prepared for the next hike up the next mountain. Remember though, it is high upon the mountain top that The LORD BLESSES us; but, it is in the valley below that He BUILDS us up, in order to prepare us for the next mountain to climb! We also can and should be, extremely joyful that He brings us relief and refreshing from all our difficult challenges and troubles, and will eventually take care of those who are causing us trouble, trial or tribulation! The LORD is good to us, even in the most arduously difficult times, The LORD is good all the time! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 03/20/15- “In Shape Physically VS Cross Fit Spiritually!” (1 Timothy 4:8)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 03/20/15- “In Shape Physically VS Cross Fit Spiritually!”
(1 Timothy 4:8)

Premise Question: Being “in shape” physically versus being in “cross fit” shape spiritually, which is most important for living?

“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” (‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ NLT)

Although, while daily working out one’s physical body, with due diligence, in order to stay in shape and be physically fit, is commendable; it doesn’t even begin to hold the light of a single lit candle, when compared to the immeasurably preferred, being much superior, longer lasting, with greater value, and with many more impactive results and benefits, to that, of a daily routine that is diligently deliberate, with specific exercises and instruction in righteousness, for a total and necessary, spiritual transformation within us, not only for today, but for a far reaching, into the future and even infinitely beyond, invaluable greater purpose. (1 Timothy 4:8 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Being physically fit definitely has some significant value for being able to perform and function in everyday life, but, being spiritually fit is significantly much more important, as it is absolutely beyond invaluable, not only for everyday life, in every way possible or imaginable, but for the long haul, as well; reaching beyond the present day existence and into an infinite future, without end. So, we ought not to neglect entirely, a daily workout routine for our physical bodies, but that definitely should not be our primary focus, as the physical is only temporal; but we ought to choose the more excellent, wise and prudent way, of growing, developing and staying
“in shape” spiritually, by being in “cross fit” shape. Check out (Jude 1:20) Blessings…

My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭11-12‬ NIV)

My most beloved and precious child, do not regard with contempt, disdain or disgust The Lord’s instruction and training in righteousness, for it produces godliness in you, but welcome it, embrace it, don’t try to hide, escape or avoid it. Always relish and revel in it, be thankful for it and take it as a wonderful sign, an indication and beautiful expression of His great love for you; also don’t try to circumvent, finagle or manipulate it, just accept it with a grateful heart, for you’ll be better off, in so doing, and whatever you do, refuse to take offense or be annoyed, irritated, irked or indignant when The Lord decides to reprimand you because of His disapproval of your ungodly behaviors, actions and attitudes, for He only brings His directed correction into the lives of those He cherishes and dearly loves, even as a loving and caring earthly parent will administer carefully crafted correction to their own precious child, whom they take the greatest of pleasure, enjoyment and contentment in, knowing that the discipline they administer will bring much benefit to the child, so too, it is for this very reason that The Lord administers, with great care, His loving discipline to His own children.
