SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/12/15- “We Harvest, According To What We’ve Planted!” (Galatians 6:8)

Premise Question: Does, or in fact can, the sinful nature, which seeks only to please, satisfy and quench the thirsting and hungering of one’s own fleshly desires, ever produce life, or anything that’s good, right or holy; or will it always have the same result of perpetually producing only death?

“Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.” (‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Whoever chooses to follow the path of self-gratification, by always satisfying the sensual desires of their sinful nature, to the exclusion of everything else; sets into motion the law of destruction in their life, which will wreak havoc, loss, devastation and decay, resulting in being damaged beyond human repair. But, whoever diligently chooses to follow the path of delighting one’s self in The LORD, by always desiring to do His will, thereby, becomes pleasing and satisfying to The Spirit of God, and shall thus, from The Spirit, reap a harvest of righteous living and ultimately eternal life; for whatever presence you choose to practice, will surely bear fruit of its own kind, in your life, because you’ll always only harvest (get back accordingly) to what you’ve planted. (Galatians 6:8 PDCP)

Bottom Line: This Scripture is really a perfect example of “the law of reciprocity,” which is, the law of sowing and reaping; as in, whatever kind of seeds someone plants, in their life, they can most assuredly expect to receive a return, back into their life, of a harvest, according to the kind of seeds that they’ve planted! Just as apple seeds will not produce orange trees and tomato seeds will not produce cucumber vines, so too, anything that comes, as a result of the sinful nature being satisfied and fulfilled, will only produce after its kind, and therefore, can not and will not, as it doesn’t have the capacity to do so, produce anything good, but will always result in producing decay and death. Conversely, though, when one decides to live their life, by deliberately pleasing the Spirit, (Papa God) the resounding and most definite result will always be one of producing goodness, and a life that is thriving, flourishing and which, will result in producing a bountiful and glorious harvest of righteousness. So, we can choose to satisfy and fulfill the desires of our sinful nature, with its resulting consequences of producing a decaying death, or we can, with the efficacious help of The LORD, choose to live our lives to please The Spirit, with the wonderful and truly satisfying and fulfilling result and blessed consequence of producing an abundant and joyful life. Remember, whatever presence we choose to practice and seeds we plant in life, will produce fruit, a harvest, after its own kind! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/15/15- “You Cannot Fool Papa God, So Don’t Act The Fool!” (Galatians 6:7-8)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/15/15-“You Cannot Fool Papa God, So Don’t Act The Fool!” (Galatians 6:7-8)

Premise Question: Why would anyone ever believe and then come to the absurd conclusion that they could ever be successful in putting something over on Papa God?

Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. (‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭7-8‬ NLT)

Anyone who believes that they have the where with all to put one over on Papa God, by making a mockery of Him and His just ways; lacks not only common sense, but any sense or understanding of who Papa God truly is, and is therefore, simply deluding themselves! It’s impossible to get away with defying, ridiculing, deriding or having contempt for The LORD God Almighty. For whatever presence you decide to participate in and practice, in life, will bear fruit after its kind, in your life; so expect to be compensated fully, based upon the presence and practice you’ve given yourself over to. If you practice the presence of only pleasing and gratifying yourself, with reckless, indiscreet behavior, by planting your “wild oats,” then your resulting harvest will show that you’ve planted deeds and behaviors as seeds of destruction, that will ultimately demolish and completely destroy your life, ending in eternal death. Conversely though, if you practice the presence of yielding yourself to Papa God, by choosing to please The Spirit only; then you shall be fully compensated by The Spirit and shall receive an eternal reward for your righteous planting; even life everlasting. (Galatians 6:7, 8 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Humankind can and does exhibit an excessive amount and high degree of hubris, being quite full, perhaps even at times full to the brim and overflowing, with prideful arrogance, insufferable insolence, incredibly self-indulgent and self-aggrandizing; and is therefore, quite susceptible to being unaware that there is even a remote possibility of them ever being deceived or deluded. That is the very reason why the delusion can be so effective and strong! We fall prey to the enemy of our soul when we are stubborn and self-willed, relying on our own understanding and insight, rather than the true wisdom of Papa God, our creator. We fall prey to being delusional when we choose to satisfy and fulfill the evil desires of our sinful nature, our flesh, rather than choosing to deny the flesh and to follow hard after the things of The LORD, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us, in order to be pleasing to Papa God. We need to ask ourselves; what and who are we listening to, what is influencing our lives, and what are we giving our time, our affections, ourselves to each day of our lives? For whatever and whoever it is, it is the presence we are choosing to participate and practice each day, and whatever presence we practice, will bear fruit in our lives! It’s unavoidable, as it is Papa God’s law of reciprocity, His law of sowing and reaping, the law of return, that each seed that is planted will return a harvest after its kind. So, let’s choose to have a glorious harvest that comes from pleasing the Spirit, rather than an inglorious harvest that comes from satisfying and pleasing our own sinful nature, the flesh! Don’t act the fool, for Papa God can’t be fooled! Blessings…
