SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/29- “Delights And Desires!” (Psalms 37:4)
Premise Question: What does it mean to take delight in The LORD, and just how does one do it?
“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.”
(Psalms 37:4 NLT)
Be filled with rapturous joy and gleeful delight, as you enter into, being fully engaged in, the presence of The LORD, and He, The LORD GOD Almighty Himself, shall lavishly endow and bestow upon you, by granting and fulfilling your deepest longings and cravings, that, with assured certitude, shall bring you great satisfaction, fulfillment, refreshing and utter enjoyment, with perfect peace, being established in the innermost and deepest part of your unique disposition and inclination, at the very center of who you are and were divinely created, with purpose, to become. (Psalm 37:4 PDCP) Blessings…
Bottom Line: The true and authentic understanding of what it means to take delight in The LORD and how one truly does it, starts with our heart and attitude towards Him—in giving Him the honor, respect and reverential awe that is due Him—in how we choose to celebrate and cherish Him and His matchless, being the most magnificent and splendidly glorious Name, which is above and beyond every other name known and unknown to humankind—in our gleeful rejoicing and in our abandoned joyful praise and worship offered to Him, as He is to reign supreme above everyone and everything else in our lives—in our devotion and service to Him, offering, submitting and yielding our time, treasure and talent unto Him for the accomplishment and fulfillment of His divine purpose and will for our lives, which will, as a direct result of our actions and attitude, be absolutely pleasing to Him, as well as greatly benefit us, in that He will grant us the true desires of our heart—and finally, a true and positive indication (sign) that proves that we are taking delight in The LORD is, by and through our adoration, admiration, appreciation and obedience to Him and His wonderfully perfect, life-giving Holy Word! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 10/14/15- “When All Else Fails, He Still Remains The Same And Continues To Sustain!” (Psalms 73:26)
Premise Question: Regardless of what may happen or what we may have to go through and endure in this life; what and who always remains a constant and through it all, will never abandon, forsake or let us down, but will continue to remain, forever and ever, the same?
“My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.” (Psalms 73:26 NLT)
Everything around me, including my health and my heart, may falter and fail, but The LORD GOD Almighty, is now, has been, and shall always continue to forever be, without end, the unfailing, ever refreshing, truly encouraging and renewing, joyful strong force and strength of my innermost being, deep within the within, of my heart and soul, as He shall always be, (for nothing else can even begin to fulfill or satisfy) my portion and lot in life, the epitome of all that completely fills and sustains my life. (Psalms 73:26 PDCP)
Bottom Line: There are probably, in many of our individual lives, going to be an occasion, a time, an event, situation or circumstance, whereby, we may be subject to slipping, faltering, floundering, fizzling or falling short and perhaps even completely failing; and as a result, becoming embittered because of it all, torn up on the inside, by resentfulness, malice, hate and an unforgiving heart, lacking any physical or spiritual vim, vigor or vitality, completely bankrupt and devoid of a flourishing and refreshing life. But, The LORD GOD Almighty, who is ever merciful and enduring, faithful and true, will come to our aid and rescue, when we call upon His Everlasting Name. And then, He will lift us up out of the mire and mud, stuck in the ditch, trench or chasm we’ve fallen into, and set our feet upon solid ground, even The Rock of our salvation. He then begins leading, guiding and giving us wise counsel, that directs our feet onto the path and into the way, that will bring us back into a right and holy relationship with Him and that ultimately leads us to our most glorious and divine destiny. That is why we desire Him more than we desire anything else upon this earth! He, The LORD GOD, is the quintessence of our existence, as He is our treasure trove, our wellspring of life and the secret to a thriving, more than just surviving, flourishing, completely satisfying and fulfilling existence! When all else fails around me, even when I fail, He remains ever the same, for I am His and He is mine, nothing’s ever going to change that, for He will always continue to sustain me, forever and forever, without end! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 05/04/15- “Trusting And Relying On The LORD!” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Premise Question: Can we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, have a confident assurance and real expectation, of actually being able to successfully navigate our life, without having the great privilege and honor, the tools and benefits, of the leading, guiding, impactive and direct influence that The LORD’S Word, His Spirit and diligent fervent prayer provides us, which for all of us, is our divine compass, sextant and GPS?
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT)
Place your faith and complete confidence in and your utter reliance upon The Lord, in total abandonment, holding nothing back or kept hidden in the deep recesses of your heart in reserve. Don’t ever find yourself choosing to rely solely upon your own way of thinking, in the way you see and perceive things, in order to get yourself through life. But, always remember to acknowledge The LORD in everything you do or attempt to do in life; surrendering and yielding every part and partial of your life to Him. Then, and only then, will The LORD Himself pilot and guide you through life, on an upright course that will follow the correct paths, which will establish a safe and successful arrival at your desired destination, at life’s journeys end. (Proverbs 3:5-6 PDCP)
Bottom Line: There are a myriad of sources we can choose from to be influenced and guided by in our lives. Some may seem quite logical, extremely viable, good or may even tickle our fancy and appeal to our inclinations or predilection. As The LORD’S Word clearly delineates, though, there is a way and path set before each person that appears to be the best way to go, but when chosen, only leads to death and destruction. (Proverbs 14:12) His Word also tells us, that fools will always think and believe the way they are going and what they are doing, is right, and will therefore, not be open to wise counsel, but again, it only leads to a horrible ending. (Proverbs 12:14) The LORD gives everyone a choice! The decision and choice we make determines whether we will experience blessings or curses, life or death. (Deuteronomy 11:26, 30:19) Let us make the wisest of decisions, by always deliberately choosing to place our total faith and trust, relying only on and in The LORD and His faithful, hope filled, leading, guiding and correct direction, by completely relying on His Word, The Holy Spirit and our fervent prayer; which is our divine compass, sextant and heavenly GPS for successfully navigating this life! SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/23/15- “The Correct Perception!” (Proverbs 21:2)
Premise Question: Under whose perception and impression, of how you are living and comporting your daily life, are you being influenced by; your own understanding of how you see yourself, The LORD’S perception and examination of you and your heart, or perhaps others impression and how they respond to you, or is it some combination of the three?
People may be right in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their heart. (Proverbs 21:2 NLT)
Even though most of humankind may actually believe that the way they see things and perceive themselves and life in general, is the absolute correct perception; there is another, though, whose perception is perfect, being flawless, without defect. For He, The LORD, carefully scrutinizes, by probing deeply into the intentions and motives of our innermost being, our hearts. (Proverbs 21:2 PDCP)
Bottom Line: It’s vitally important to understand the significance of having the correct view and proper perception of ourselves and the world around us! We don’t have the capacity to do this on our own. We must be willing to submit all that we think, perceive and believe that we are comprehending, to The LORD and His Holy Writ first, for His appraisal and stamp of approval. Then, we ought to have others in our lives, individuals who are spiritual, that we allow to speak into our lives, but, we need to make sure that those we’ve allowed to have influence over us, by speaking into our lives, that they also are submitted to The LORD and His Holy Writ, as well as, having individuals, who are spiritual, that they are allowing to speak into their lives. Dear LORD, purify our thoughts, our intentions and motives of our hearts, so that we will have the correct perception! Search me, O LORD! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/05/15-“The Lips Versus The Heart” (Isaiah 29:13)
Premise Question: Why is it, that just giving “lip service,” to The LORD God Almighty, is woefully inadequate and isn’t sufficient enough honor given, in our worship of Him?
And so the Lord says, “These people say they are mine. They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. And their worship of me is nothing but man-made rules learned by rote. (Isaiah 29:13 NLT)
So, this is what The LORD has to say about humankind and their made up traditions and celebrations they love so much, “These people make bold claims and huge declarations, with their mouths they offer up recitations of worship and honor to Me, in a memorized pledge of allegiance, which includes much fanfare, about how they belong to Me, but it is entirely meaningless and worthless lip service, because the words of their mouth are not connected to their hearts, in any meaningful way, shape or form; therefore, I, The LORD, am greatly displeased with these people, for their hearts are far removed from My presence.” (Isaiah 29:13 PDCP)
Bottom Line: When the celebrating, just for the sake of celebration, of our feasts and traditions, becomes the central focus, rather than, the focus being on the central figure and reason for the feasts, traditions and celebrations; we are just giving “lip service,” while participating in a meaningless pompous display of inert apathetic activity and motion, which doesn’t have any real purpose or honor. In order for the words and expressions of praise and worship coming from our mouths, to have any authentic impact and meaning, at all, those words coming out of our mouths must be connected and generated from grateful and thankful hearts, that are in right relationship with The LORD!

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/04/15-“To Love God And Love Others; The Basic Essentials To All Believers/Followers Of, The LORD God Almighty!” (Matthew 22:37-39)
Premise Question: Why is how we love God and the way we love others, so significant and such a big deal?
Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Matthew 22:37-39 NLT)
In response, to the (designed to trap) question from the expert of the law, Jesus’ comeback was quite clear and direct. He left no room whatsoever, to it merely being an option or just a strong suggestion, when He declared, “you must love The LORD God Almighty passionately, not with just a part of, but with your whole heart, and your whole soul should desire, thirst and yearn only for Him, and furthermore, you should also honor, love and revere Him, with all of your thoughts and all of your intellect! Now, this is just the first and foremost part of the most important commandment; the second part, which is just as significant and goes right along with the first part, is to look at your fellow humankind as close neighbors and to love them as much, if not even more, than you love yourselves.” (Matthew 22:37-39 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Verse 40 of this passage answers the Premise Question. “The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:40 NLT)
We then, as believers/followers of Christ, must stop isolating, insulating or alienating ourselves from our neighbors, our fellow humankind!
Many do not even know or begin to associate with their neighbors! Very sad, but true, all too often. We must be willing to extend ourselves beyond our comfort and convenient zones and all other barriers of race, culture, class, fences, burgs, pain, un forgiveness, anger, resentment, wounds, bitterness, disappointment, trauma, death, divorce, expectations, sickness, depression, traditions, experiences, pop-culture, what’s popular or not! We must break through all barriers, for the sake of the Cross! God Himself, is our ultimate example, as He reached across the barriers of time, space, sin, depravity and rebellion, to connect with us, His creation, displaying His love for us, His neighbors, by giving us His best, (His Son) when we were at our worst! The only way to ever effectively reach our neighbors, is to love them as ourselves! Now this may actually be a problem for some of us though, because, in fact, some do not love themselves very much; therefore, they do end up loving their neighbors as themselves. This, could pose a major issue, so let’s love our neighbors, as The Lord loves us and laid His life down for us and our benefit! It’s not enough to serve or love with just your hands or lips, but we need to also serve and love with our whole heart! When we love God with our whole heart, mind and soul, and love our neighbors, as ourselves and the way God loves us, we will fulfill the greatest and most significantly important commandments of The LORD God Almighty and in so doing, shall keep both sides of The Sword of The Spirit sharp and ready for all that this life may offer, as a challenge to our faith!
As God is our Good Neighbor, let us be a good neighbor to the rest of humankind! Blessings…
