Humility
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 12/29/15- “Humility Is The Way, And Don’t Ever Worry!” (1 Peter 5:6-7)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 12/29/15- “Humility Is The Way, And Don’t Ever Worry!” (1 Peter 5:6-7)
Premise Question: Just how important is it for us, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of Papa God, and then, to not worry, be offended or be anxious about anything?
“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7 NLT)
You will do well, and, do yourself a huge favor, when approaching The LORD, to come before Him with a humble and contrite spirit; serving and putting The LORD and then others, before and above yourself is the key, and that, without pride or arrogance, but with a gentleness, meekness and a respectful submissive attitude. Consequently, by submitting yourself underneath Papa God’s superior ability, skill, power, strength, authority, His unique purpose and specific divine will for your life, in such a manner, He will support and undergird you, by lifting you up and placing you in the perfect position, in order to accomplish His unique purpose and divine will for your life. There is one caveat, though, He will not do this in your time frame, but in His perfect timing, when it is due, on time, and not a moment before or after His appointed time. So, don’t spend any valuable time or resources on expending yourself in worrisome anxious thoughts or activities, trying to please others, but leave all of that anxiety with The LORD, and accept the truth, that He loves and cares for you much more than anyone else ever could or would even have the capacity or ability to do so. (1 Peter 5:6-7 PDCP)
Bottom Line: In humility, love and serve Papa God, The LORD GOD Almighty, first and foremost, with your whole heart, in your life; then, love and serve others, as a humble, gracious and most grateful servant of The Most High, leave the timing of any and all promotions up to The LORD, and definitely don’t waste any time or resources on being anxious or offended about anything, in your life, because He, The LORD, truly loves and cares for you much more than you could ever imagine or begin to comprehend! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 11/26/15- “Give Thanks To Papa God—Tell Others Of His Goodness!” (Psalms 9:1)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 11/26/15- “Give Thanks To Papa God—Tell Others Of His Goodness!” (Psalms 9:1)
Premise Question: What attitude, condition and personal action should we have, exhibit and take, that truly determines, shows and proves, that we, the people of Papa God, are actually offering up to The LORD, authentic praise and worship, true honor and reverence, with real thanksgiving, sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude?
“I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.” (Psalms 9:1 NLT)
It is my great privilege, delightful pleasure and extreme honor to choose, of my own volition, with a purposeful determination and strong conviction, to make it my daily practice and disposition, of always expressing thanks and exuberant praise, with a heart full of gratitude and appreciation to You, my LORD and my Papa God; holding nothing back or in reserve, I am fully persuaded and devoted to declaring to everyone everywhere, with much enthusiasm, all about Your miraculous mighty acts, Your wonderful works, Your glorious exploits and gracious deeds. (Psalms 9:1 PDCP)
Bottom Line: A humble and contrite attitude of gratitude, that comes from and is continually being expressed from, a heart full of joyful rejoicing praise, honor and thanks; and then, tells others of The LORD’s excellent goodness and wonderful deeds, is what determines, shows and proves, that our praise, worship and honor of Him is truly authentic and absolutely real. We, as believers and the people of Papa God, should make it our aim in life, to always, without holding anything back in reserve, choose to give all thanks to Papa God, The Sovereign LORD God Almighty, and too, as we have opportunity, should always choose to tell others about His glorious, filled with grace, goodness and mercy. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 09/23/15- “Don’t Be A ‘Put On,’ But ‘Put On,’ All Of These Attributes!” (Colossians 3:12)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/23/15- “Don’t Be A ‘Put On,’ But ‘Put On,’ All Of These Attributes!” (Colossians 3:12)
Premise Question: Did Papa God choose us because we are a righteous, holy and pure people, or did He choose us because He loves us and desires that we become a righteous, holy and pure people, with His divine help and through His gracious provision of His Son, our redeeming LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ?
“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” (Colossians 3:12 NLT)
Therefore, since you’ve been divinely selected, because of The LORD God Almighty being favorably inclined towards you, to be one of His very own devout and cherished family members, of The Company of The Redeemed; you must make sure you are always clad appropriately, with these vitally important attributes, wearing them at all times, for all to see and personally experience. Now, regarding all of these attributes, don’t just be a “put on,” but actually put them on! Put on compassion, being moved to action, with sympathy, becoming empathetic towards others plight, by doing something that will really offer them the help needed, in order to alleviate their condition. Put on kindness, exhibiting kind benevolent favor, that’s thoughtful, helpful and cordial. Put on humility, not elevating yourself, by thinking you are superior or above others. Put on gentleness, always displaying a meek, mild and calm disposition and manner towards others. And finally, put on patience, by showing great restraint and self-control, choosing to learn and train yourself not to be reactionary, but responsive, not hot headed, but even tempered, persistent, long suffering and that, without any grumbling or complaint. (Colossians 3:12 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Oh what joy and pure delight, with an absolute certitude and a wholehearted gratitude, that’s full of exuberant rejoicing and thoughtful thanksgiving, being lifted up continually unto Papa God, His Son and The Holy Spirit, who is The King Eternal, The LORD of all, The One True and Faithful Sovereign LORD God Almighty, The Maker of Heaven and earth and everything therein, The One who comforts, heals and restores, forgives and renews, and The One who chooses and loves and gives us an abundant new life, and that, forevermore. He is The One who, with His divine enabling, asks us to clothe ourselves, each and everyday, with His divine, yet quite practical, as well as, being extremely beneficial, attributes of The LORD. He greatly desires that we be very tenderhearted, showing mercy and compassion, with great affection and benevolence, towards others. Papa God wants us to be kind to one another and others, being gracious, showing favor and generosity towards others. It is of the utmost importance that we clothe ourselves in humility, walking and comporting ourselves in lowliness and exhibiting meekness towards others. Our attitude and approach towards others, should always be characterized as being gentle, amiable and with much caring and real concern. And finally, we must exhibit the divine and unique quality of being patient, having a huge reservoir, full to overflowing, of patience, calmness, steady composure, long suffering and forbearance. So, don’t be a “Put On,” but, “Put On” all the attributes of The LORD! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/21/15- “The Way Of Humility Is Best Chosen!” (Proverbs 18:12)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/21/15- “The Way Of Humility Is Best Chosen!” (Proverbs 18:12)
Premise Question: Just what is the marked differences between haughtiness and humility and where does each of them end up?
“Haughtiness goes before destruction; humility precedes honor.”
(Proverbs 18:12 NLT)
In advance of a disastrous failure overtaking a person’s life and causing their complete undoing, resulting in ruination of a respectable reputation, and also accompanied by great loss; the issue begins in the innermost part of the person’s being, which is, the seat of their emotions, ethics, desires and attitudes, their heart. Now, unfortunately for them, when a person gives the self over to being highfalutin, pretentious, arrogantly supercilious and disdainfully contemptuous, disaster always follows. But, when an individual approaches life with a “down to earth,” genuinely meek, as well as, modest and humble heart, by not ever exhibiting an air of superiority, thinking they are better than someone else; then, that is the precursor that shows up, by making an appearance ahead of the huge blessings and benefits, along with the great honor, respect and high esteem, that will be conferred upon each individual’s life, who displays such humility. (Proverbs 18:12 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Haughtiness, which creates a debilitating blind spot in a person’s life, is accompanied by its self-centered, cantankerous, being recalcitrant and stubborn attitudes, as well as, being entirely incorrigible, intractable and snobbish, while displaying, disdainfully proud and obstinate behaviors, which are full of scorn and arrogant pomposity, will always pave the way for a person’s life to be ushered onto the path that will ultimately lead to utter devastation, complete ruination, ending in total destruction of one’s life and reputation!
Humility, conversely though, with its attitudes and behaviors of lowliness, meekness, gentleness, deference, reverence, respect and regard for Papa God and others, creates perfect vision and discernment in a person’s life, as it opens up the lines of communication with Papa God’s Spirit, in order to develop a personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ, who then becomes our spiritual guide, by the Spirit, directing and leading us to the way and upon the path of eternal life, divine wisdom, perfect peace and the fullness of everlasting joy! Therefore, always remember: The way of humility is always best chosen! Haughtiness is the quickest way to wreck yourself! Humility is the only way to great honor! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/20/15- “Don’t Allow Pride To Ride And Rule!” (Proverbs 11:2)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/20/15- “Don’t Allow Pride To Ride And Rule!”
(Proverbs 11:2)
Premise Question: Why do some people choose the way of pride, which leads to devastating disgrace and destructive demise, when everyone is given the wonderfully blest opportunity to choose the way of humility, which leads to wisdom, peace and joy?
“Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.”
(Proverbs 11:2 NLT)
When adulation, adoration and applause,
is heaped upon people’s lives,
then arrogance, hubris, insolence,
a full blown pride may arise,
swelled up in all of its pretense,
devastating disgrace and destructive demise,
but a meek, lowly and contrite heart of civility,
filled with modesty, courtesy and polite respect,
overcomes all arrogant insolent hubris, with humility,
which then brings wisdom from above,
in all of its truth, honor, good judgement and insight,
teaching and nurturing us with His unfailing love. (Proverbs 11:2 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Don’t allow pride, along for the ride, in your life! For its resulting consequences, when allowed to ride and rule in your life, are a loss of respect, honor and esteem, accompanied by, devastating disgrace, abject humiliation, total annihilation and utter destruction! So, why anyone would ever choose to allow pride to ride along, to be the ruling influence in their life, lacks good sense, understanding or the ability to accept and comprehend the eventuality of the guaranteed outcome! There is, though, an actual cause and reason we can point to, that has a huge bearing on why one may succumb to being strongly influenced, carried away and overwhelmed in choosing to be led and directed by pride over humility. Pride can be extremely intoxicating, as one can become completely inebriated and drunk on the praise, recognition and accolades being heaped upon them by others. It can cause a person to become confused, befuddled, delirious, vision impaired, unable to see themselves and things in their life for what they really are. We are all subject to becoming captivated by our pride and the praise of others. It can have the debilitating affect on us of becoming imbalanced, beside ourselves, resulting in emotional and mental stupidity. When this occurs, we lose our ability to appropriately discern or make good judgements, and as a direct result, wise decisions are rarely, if ever, made! So, don’t allow pride to ride and rule and reign in your life, where ignominy and shame prevails, but choose the way of humility and meekness, which leads to wisdom, peace and joy. Remember, when we lose our balance, we are subject to falling! “Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.” (Proverbs 16:18 NLT) Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/17/15- “In Papa God’s Time, Not Our Time!” (1 Peter 5:6)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/17/15- “In Papa God’s Time, Not Our Time!” (1 Peter 5:6)
Premise Question: What does authentic humility look like, involve and entail?
“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” (1 Peter 5:6 NLT)
Do yourself a huge favor, by coming before Papa God with a humble and contrite attitude and approach, without pride or arrogance, but with gentleness, meekness and a respectful submissive attitude. So in consequence of you submitting yourself underneath Papa God’s superior ability, skill, power, strength, authority, unique purpose and specific divine will for your life, in this manner, He will support and undergird you, by lifting you up and placing you in the perfect position, in order to accomplish His unique purpose and divine will for your life; of course though, you must be willing to accept and understand, that He will not do this in your own time frame, but in accordance to His perfect timing, when it is due, on time, and not a moment before or after His divinely appointed time. (1 Peter 5:6 PDCP)
Bottom Line: Here is what I believe authentic humility looks like: Leading by example, for our actions and behavior must align with our words. We must be modest, clothed in humility, meekness, gentleness, kindness, with the obvious absence of any self-promotion, arrogance, pride, or egotism; not given to being vengeful, spiteful or full of guile, nor insolent, indolent or impetuous, but courteous, kind, polite, obliging, showing respect and honor towards others and with a complete reverential awe towards Papa God.
This is what I believe authentic humility involves: Waiting obediently, relying, yielding, trusting fully in Papa God. Sacrificing our own wants and desires for His, with a joyful, expectant, confident and patient, hope filled faith; having an attitude and approach of servitude and submission to Papa God, our elders and to others; putting others needs before our own, by engaging in the interests, emotions, and challenges of others, being touched and moved with compassion and genuine concern, to identify with them and then, embrace them in their plight, with the love of Papa God.
Finally, I believe authentic humility entails: Our faith in and love for Papa God and His Son Jesus Christ, our redeeming LORD and Savior, which compels us to, with thanksgiving and gratitude, eagerly serve Papa God and others, as it is a necessary consequence and outgrowth of our faith and devotion to Papa God, as The Spirit of Christ now living in us propels us into action and puts a demand and requirement upon our lives that encompasses our time, talent and treasure. Our motivation though, for becoming humble, must never be to do it because of what we may derive, or are going to get out of it, but simply, that we humble ourselves before Papa God because we are eager to serve Him and desire to please Him. And we must always remember, it’s not about our perception of time, but it’s all about His perfect timing, for He does all things well, in His time. So we wait patiently, full of joy and an expectant hope, upon His never early or late, but always on time, divinely appointed and established time. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/24/15- “Humility And Awe!” (Proverbs 22:4)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/24/15- “Humility And Awe!” (Proverbs 22:4)
Premise Question: What’s the real benefit and intrinsic value that’s realized by the person who is genuinely humble, with an authentic and healthy reverential awe for The LORD?
True humility and fear of the LORD lead to riches, honor, and long life. (Proverbs 22:4 NLT)
Genuine humility, emanating from a person’s heart that is meek, contrite and shows due reverential awe and respect towards Papa God, The LORD of all; ushers in, with due diligence, its full recompense of a bountiful reward, for it compensates that person, enriching them with an over abundance of intrinsic value, along with, benefits of wealth, health and great worth, and it carries with it, the distinct honor of being highly favored and esteemed, as well as, being blessed with an extended duration of existence, while here on earth, that’s way beyond the normal life expectancy. (Proverbs 22:4 PDCP)
Bottom Line: When we, as humankind, deliberately and with diligence, walk in humility before others and have and show proper reverential awe that’s due Papa God, The LORD of all, then and only then, are we on the right path in this life. And, as a direct result, will be shown the way to go, in order to receive the real benefits and rewards and also fully realize the intrinsic value and divine destiny purposed for our lives. The LORD Himself will go before us, as our guiding Shepherd, to make sure this happens and to fulfill His Word. When the path of humility is taken, it will lead to an enriched life, one that will extend and flourish beyond this life here on earth, to being able to experience eternal life, with rewards beyond the imagination heaped upon them; for no eye has seen nor mind comprehended all that will happen and is being made ready and prepared for those who choose the path of humility and reverential awe towards The LORD. But, if one chooses not to take the path of humility, they will surely have chosen most foolishly and will ultimately be led down the pathway that leads to abject humiliation, dishonor, poverty and even perhaps a shortened life, and in the end, damnation, destruction and eternal death. Let’s choose the path of humility and reverential awe, and in effect, choose life, eternal life, filled with eternal and intrinsic value and rewards. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 03/16/15- “The Proof, That We Understand Papa God’s Ways!” (James 3:13)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 03/16/15- “The Proof, That We Understand Papa God’s Ways!” (James 3:13)
Premise Question: What is the verifying proof that we, all members of The Company of The Redeemed, truly comprehend Papa God’s holy and righteous ways?
If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.
(James 3:13 NLT)
When you are diligently prudent, being filled with Papa God’s foresight and having a full awareness and comprehension of His methods, manner, His mode and His deliberate approach and practices, with regards to righteousness and humankind; it then becomes incumbent upon you to authenticate, verify and validate it demonstrably, with acts of kindness, a life full of ethical integrity and honor, while living your life circumspectly, with the meekness and lowliness, that comes only from Papa God’s perfect and pure wisdom from above. (James 3:13 PDCP)
Bottom Line: The proof, of course, starts with our love for Papa God, but our love for Papa God is verified only when we are obedient to His commands, (John 14:15) to not only love Him, but to love our fellow brothers and sisters, (1 John 3:11) as well as, others that are also members of humankind. (John 3:16) So, our love for others is authenticated and validated when we show respect and civility, through our expressions towards others, with acts of kindness and being involved in doing good deeds, without expecting anything in return. Our great declarations and proclamations, with glowing and flowing rhetoric, is not sufficient alone, in in itself. For it surely must be followed up, with our diligent actions and efficacious good deeds, and that, with great humility, concern and care. (James 2:14-19, Colossians 3:17) Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 01/29/15- “Living A Life Worthy Of Our Calling!” (Ephesians 4:1-3)
SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/29/15- “Living A Life Worthy Of Our Calling!” (Ephesians 4:1-3)
Premise Question: Is it possible, to fulfill Papa God’s calling on our lives, by living and serving The LORD honorably and faithfully and in the process, to achieve worthwhile success and the favor of The LORD, without the presence of His Godly characteristics, values and qualities, of humility, gentleness, meekness, being forbearing, tolerant and long suffering with others, as well as, showing consideration towards them, with a constant effort, on our part, of striving and aiming for harmony and tranquility?
Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. (Ephesians 4:1-3 NLT)
I Paul, am presently being held captive, as a prisoner, because of the ministry and call of Papa God upon my life, for this reason and at this very moment, I urgently plead with you to live your life in such a way, that it will be seen and recognized by Papa God, as being honorable and worthy of the high calling He has placed upon your life. I exhort you to always show deferential respect towards others, being amiable, agreeable, gentle and kind. Also, choose to be calm and composed, ever forbearing and tolerant with others, as you make it a common practice of overlooking the faults in others. And, in all of this because of your great undying and unfailing love for others. Finally, with due diligence and effort, earnestly strive to keep a perpetual state of harmonious tranquil comfort and peace amongst you. (Ephesians 4:1-3 PDCP)
Bottom Line: In a word, NOPE! For without the presence of Godly characteristics, qualities and values, in our lives, it is entirely impossible to live, in such a way, manner or fashion, that would be counted worthy and recognized favorably, by The LORD, as achieving success in fulfilling the high calling, that He has placed placed upon each one of us, in this life. (Ephesians 2:10) The calling of God, on our lives, should never be looked upon, as being a great career move, wonderful occupation, an exciting vocation, or desirable profession or great job to pursue. But, should always be approached with great gravity and should never be entered into lightly, as it must be accepted, as being from The LORD, with humility and gratitude, and as being your life’s work, your mission and ultimate pursuit and ambition, in this life. The calling of The LORD comes with a personal TAG from Him, that with His help, we are to develop and grow up into, by maturing. The TAG is, Talents, Abilities and Gifts, conferred upon us, by Him, that enables and empowers us to accomplish all that our calling may entail. One more thing, it should never be our aim or intention, to climb the proverbial “corporate ladder,” while serving and carrying out the calling of Papa God, in our lives! Blessings…
