And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:6, 7 NLT)
And as His Holy Word clearly delineates, His grace will never run out, but will always be more than enough, being completely sufficient on every occasion or in any situation; albeit though, God will always be hostile towards, with great resistance, those who are full of pride, but shall ever be ready and willing to grant the full measure of His grace and favor towards those who remain humble. So then, yield yourself, in humble submission, under the power and authority of God Almighty, making this your first priority in your spiritual walk and life; then, when you revoke, not merely suspend the enemy of your soul, (the devil’s) license to operate in your life, by striving and standing against him, with the help of The Almighty, he, the devil, shall and must take flight in fright, swiftly, without delay, moving far far away from you. (James 4:6, 7 PDCP)
Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life. (Proverbs 22:4 NIV)
True humility, emanating from a heart that is meek and contrite, shows due reverential awe and respect towards Holy God, our Lord and Savior; it’s recompense is our bountiful reward, for it compensates us with an abundance of valuable possessions of wealth, health and great worth, as well as, having the distinct honor of being highly favored and esteemed, being blessed with an extended duration of our existence, here on earth, way beyond what is the normal life expectancy.
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV)
If My people, the sheep of My pasture, those I have called and chosen, setting them apart for My pleasure and divine purpose, having given them My Name to claim as there own; will reject their pride and arrogance, and bow humbly before Me in devout worship, while offering up their petitions of praise and entreaties, with a desire to have sweet fellowship and communion with Me, and will seek My Manifest Presence, repenting of all their evil practices, then, I will pay attention to them, with favor and assent, complying with their requests and I will wipe away all of their transgressions and sin, making them clean and free from all wickedness, restoring and making their land whole, by removing all conflict, settling them in the place of their dwelling, with the conditions of rest and peace. (2 Chronicles 7:14 PDCP)
