love for God

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/02/15- ” Love For Papa God, Versus Love For This World!” (1 John 2:15-16)

Premise Question: Is your love for Papa God pure and unencumbered, or is it a convoluted, entangled love, that has a strong attachment and affinity for the things of this world, always in competition, with your love for Papa God?

Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. (‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭15-16‬ NLT)

Don’t ever get caught up and entangled, by falling in love with the tempting proposals and the things this world pitches to you. The world will promise to satisfy all of your deepest desires and most needed pleasures to enjoy, promising to provide you with all those things you may see and think that you can’t live without; as well as, pushing you into chasing after prestigious awards and recognitions, which tend to indulge in self-importance, with an attitude of insolence and an air of superiority. This leaves you with always wanting to have and possess the latest gadget or toy. None of this is from Papa God, but emanates from the spirit of this world, which is controlled by the spirit of rebellion and pride, that stands against all that is Righteous, Holy and Good. For when you choose to love the things of this world, rather than loving Papa God, you’ll find that your love for the things of this world, cannot coexist with your love for Papa God. (1 John 2:15-16 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Your love for Papa God cannot coexist with your love for the things of this world! One love will eventually win over the other! Not that you can’t have an appreciation for, or even possess things, but as the old saying goes, “it’s alright to have things, so long as those things don’t have you!” For there is only One, that should have you completely, that is Papa God. Love for the things of this world should never, nor can it ever, replace your love for Papa God, for if it ever does, your love simply becomes misplaced! He should have your affinities, your affections, and your inclinations and proclivities should bend towards Him, after all, His word does declare that you are to love Him with your whole heart, mind, body and soul, your entire being, and that you are to extend that same love to others. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 01/19/15- “Our Walk And Talk Should Match The Walk And Talk Of Jesus!” (1 John 2:5-6)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/19/15- “Our Walk And Talk Should Match The Walk And Talk Of Jesus!”

Premise Question: How can we know and show, with certitude, that we truly love Papa God and are truly living our lives honorably and right?

But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. (‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭5-6‬ NLT)

When we, all members of The Company of The Redeemed, walk and talk, living our lives on display, for all to see and hear, in accordance to the way Papa God’s Holy Writ declares that we should live; then we can, with full assurance and confidence, know with certitude, that we are completely in love with Him and in fact are living our lives in Him daily. After all, shouldn’t all those who say they are members, in good standing, of The Company of The Redeemed, show that they truly are, by the conduct of their walk matching their declarative talk and that it then, can and should, be clearly matched with the example of the walk and talk of our LORD Jesus? (1 John 2:5-6 PDCP)

Bottom Line: First off, Papa God is always going to respond to obedience more favorably than just a sacrifice without obedience. (Proverbs 21:3) So, in order to know that we truly love Papa God and are living right, we should begin, by learning, knowing and understanding the life of Jesus, and exactly how He lived His life while here on the earth. Then, we need to deliberately, with diligence, choose to live our lives in the same way, manner and approach, as our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ did. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 01/17/15- “Our Love For Papa God And Our Love For Fellow Believers, Must Be Synonymous!”

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/17/15- “Our Love For Papa God And Our Love For Fellow Believers, Must Be Synonymous!”

Premise Question: Tell me again, why is this command, so vitally critical and most important to accept, understand, come into agreement with and into complete compliance?

And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. (‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭21‬ NIV)

This vital and most critically important command that Papa God, The Sovereign LORD God Almighty, has given to each and every member of The Company of The Redeemed is: Anyone, meaning everyone, without exception, who says they love Papa God, must also, with the same love, express, show and have love towards each and every member of The Company of The Redeemed, their fellow believers. (1 John 4:21 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Love for our fellow believers, which are our most precious and dearly beloved brothers and sisters, must be one and the same, without exception, as it is for our Papa God, Whom personally implemented this divine rule, that must be followed with strict adherence and full compliance. SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 01/15/15- “Love For Our Fellow Believers, Is Not Optional”

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 01/15/15- “Love For Our Fellow Believers, Is Not Optional!”

Premise Question: Have things so radically changed and transitioned, that it is now, today, possible to say, we love Papa God, His Son Jesus Christ and His most comforting, filled with power and joy, Holy Spirit, and, at the same time, not have love for some of our fellow brothers and sisters in The LORD, and in fact may actually have hate in our hearts for them?

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. (‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭20‬ NIV)

When someone, anyone, does’t matter who they are, declares their allegiance and undying love for Papa God, The Sovereign LORD God Almighty, but at the same time, expresses hatred towards a fellow believer, whether it be a brother or sister, in The LORD, they are not to be believed as credible and should be considered liars! Now this may seem a bit harsh to some, but, if one does not have or show love towards their fellow brothers and sisters, in The LORD, whom they can see and interact with on a daily basis, then it is an untenable situation, being completely impossible, to love Papa God, The Sovereign LORD God Almighty, whom they have yet to see! (1 John 4:20 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Here’s the short, quick and concise answer: NO! It is not possible, nor is it even an option, for The LORD clearly delineates that He is the same yesterday, today and forever and that He is not gonna change, period! (Hebrews 13:8) Some may say, “but you don’t understand how difficult this brother or sister has been to deal with, or what damage has occurred, because of their actions and behaviors!” The LORD’s response to that is, “My grace is sufficient.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) There will be times and occasions, that discipline of a fellow brother or sister may be necessary, but it should never be administered as a punishment, nor filled with vile, guile or hate, but should be administered with a great enduring love, with the ultimate goal of reconciling and restoring them back into right relationship and fellowship, with all members of The Company of The Redeemed. (Hebrews 12:5-10, Proverbs 3:12) After all, the “B” in Bible doesn’t stand for “Buffet,” whereby, one is able to select, follow and abide by, only those principles, commands and truths that are without difficulty, easy, being comfortable and tasty to one’s own proclivities and appetites! We must, as fellow believers, take the whole of God’s Holy Writ, not just the parts we like or agree with, but the whole, because, as the full of truth saying goes, “He, The LORD, is either The LORD of all, or not The LORD at all!” Blessings…
