SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 12/31/15- “You’re Not Encroaching, When Confidently Approaching, The Throne Of Grace!” (Hebrews 4:16)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: Double Entendre (meaning)…(1) A prescription (script) prescribed, by The Great Physician, for us to take each day, for our benefit and (2) A script written, for the purpose of giving direction and guidance to us, for our everyday life, in the way and manner we ought to be conducting our daily lives, given to us, by the Great playwright, in the sky, The Author of all that is good, right, just and holy. Blessings…
Premise Question: What is the reason we now have personal access to the very throne room of The Almighty?

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most‭‭.” (Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NLT‬)

Armed with the wonderfully liberating knowledge, of who it is that has opened up the door, that now allows us, with courage and full confidence, to gain unfettered access into the very throne room and manifest presence of Papa God, The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty; we all, members of The Company of The Redeemed, should now, therefore, fearlessly draw near to the throne of The Almighty, in order to exchange our bungled bankrupted lives for His benevolent tender mercies, and thereby, experience His unmerited gracious favor, which is the remedy, for not only our greatest need, but all our needs, and is given to us, in a timely manner, on time, every time and for all time. (Hebrews 4:16 PDCP)

Bottom Line: It’s all because of what our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, The Son of The Most High, who is The Savior of humankind, accomplished for us, upon the cross, in the grave and then, over death and in the great unknown and beyond; that we now have been granted personal access to bravely and confidently approach the very throne of grace, mercy and unfailing love of Papa God, The Sovereign LORD GOD Almighty, to receive the appropriate aid and help, at the right time, every time, in our time of need. So, you’re not encroaching when confidently approaching Papa God’s throne of grace! Be thankful for this past year and hopeful for the new year upon us! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 10/26/15- “The LORD Hears My Voice, When I Call Upon His Name For Mercy!” (Psalms 116:1-2)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 10/26/15- “The LORD Hears My Voice, When I Call Upon His Name For Mercy!” (Psalms 116:1-2)

Premise Question: In what ways can and should we, The Company of The Redeemed, respond to The LORD’s wonderful expressions of His acts of mercy, gracious favor and His loving kindness shown towards us?

“I love the LORD because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!”
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭116:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

I profoundly, with all of my affections, strongest desires and certain sure intentions, love The LORD GOD Almighty, with my whole heart, body and soul; for He, The LORD GOD Almighty Himself, inclines His ear towards the direction and sound of my desperate cry and plea for His kind, considerate and compassionate, divine favor of forbearance, to be shown towards me, which He, without fail, definitely always does. Because He, The LORD GOD Almighty, pays close rapt attention, carefully listening to my entreaty every time I call upon Him; I will therefore, continually offer up my supplications, requests and prayers to Him, when I’m in need of assistance, for as long as I have breath and continue to live. (Psalms 116:1-2 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Here are just some of the ways, expressions and actions we can take and do, in response to The LORD’s expressions of acts of mercy, gracious favor and His loving kindness shown towards us. We can and should be praying to Him, not only for ourselves and our own interests, but interceding and praying on behalf of others and their specific needs and interests. We ought to be singing songs about His magnificent mercies shown towards us and all of humankind. We can prepare and make declarative proclamations about His loving kindness. We should abandon ourselves in exultation, high praise and worship to Him; glorifying and magnifying His Name, by testifying about His marvelous acts and wonderful deeds with others. We should and can share His love, compassion, mercy, loving kindness and gracious favor, by clearly saying, then displaying and showing it towards others. We should, with heartfelt thanksgiving and gratitude, be completely thankful to The LORD for all that He has done, is doing and shall yet do! We can follow Him and then lead others to Him. We can do this by helping others as He, The LORD, has, is and will continue to help us. We need to be faithful, reliable, dependable and totally trustworthy, towards and with others, as He, The LORD, is towards and with us. Finally, we need to be patient and long suffering, inclining and bending ourselves towards others, with great compassion, by being willing to listen to them, and then following through, by doing all that we can, with The LORD’s help and aid, to help them in their plight. Thank The LORD, that He indeed does hear our cries for mercy! We must remember this: Mercy is shown to the merciful! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 09/23/15- “Don’t Be A ‘Put On,’ But ‘Put On,’ All Of These Attributes!” (Colossians 3:12)

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 09/23/15- “Don’t Be A ‘Put On,’ But ‘Put On,’ All Of These Attributes!” (Colossians 3:12)

Premise Question: Did Papa God choose us because we are a righteous, holy and pure people, or did He choose us because He loves us and desires that we become a righteous, holy and pure people, with His divine help and through His gracious provision of His Son, our redeeming LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ?

“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” (‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Therefore, since you’ve been divinely selected, because of The LORD God Almighty being favorably inclined towards you, to be one of His very own devout and cherished family members, of The Company of The Redeemed; you must make sure you are always clad appropriately, with these vitally important attributes, wearing them at all times, for all to see and personally experience. Now, regarding all of these attributes, don’t just be a “put on,” but actually put them on! Put on compassion, being moved to action, with sympathy, becoming empathetic towards others plight, by doing something that will really offer them the help needed, in order to alleviate their condition. Put on kindness, exhibiting kind benevolent favor, that’s thoughtful, helpful and cordial. Put on humility, not elevating yourself, by thinking you are superior or above others. Put on gentleness, always displaying a meek, mild and calm disposition and manner towards others. And finally, put on patience, by showing great restraint and self-control, choosing to learn and train yourself not to be reactionary, but responsive, not hot headed, but even tempered, persistent, long suffering and that, without any grumbling or complaint. (Colossians 3:12 PDCP)

Bottom Line: Oh what joy and pure delight, with an absolute certitude and a wholehearted gratitude, that’s full of exuberant rejoicing and thoughtful thanksgiving, being lifted up continually unto Papa God, His Son and The Holy Spirit, who is The King Eternal, The LORD of all, The One True and Faithful Sovereign LORD God Almighty, The Maker of Heaven and earth and everything therein, The One who comforts, heals and restores, forgives and renews, and The One who chooses and loves and gives us an abundant new life, and that, forevermore. He is The One who, with His divine enabling, asks us to clothe ourselves, each and everyday, with His divine, yet quite practical, as well as, being extremely beneficial, attributes of The LORD. He greatly desires that we be very tenderhearted, showing mercy and compassion, with great affection and benevolence, towards others. Papa God wants us to be kind to one another and others, being gracious, showing favor and generosity towards others. It is of the utmost importance that we clothe ourselves in humility, walking and comporting ourselves in lowliness and exhibiting meekness towards others. Our attitude and approach towards others, should always be characterized as being gentle, amiable and with much caring and real concern. And finally, we must exhibit the divine and unique quality of being patient, having a huge reservoir, full to overflowing, of patience, calmness, steady composure, long suffering and forbearance. So, don’t be a “Put On,” but, “Put On” all the attributes of The LORD! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 08/28/15- “O LORD! Please! Help Me!” (Psalms 27:7)

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 08/28/15- “O LORD! Please! Help Me!” (Psalms 27:7)

Premise Question: Where can I go to get the absolutely perfect soothing answer, that fulfills my desperate cry for help and then, truly refreshes and satisfies my soul?

“Hear me as I pray, O LORD. Be merciful and answer me!” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Most Holy and Sovereign LORD God Almighty, full of compassion and grace, incline Your omnipresent ear, with Your long suffering and gentle disposition, towards the direction and sound of my desperate call; at the very moment You hear Your most humble and full of gratitude, servant’s plea. Show me Your loving kindness, and Your beneficent gracious divine favor, by acting on my behalf and responding to me, with the perfect solution that will meet and solve the present situation and circumstance of my urgent and pressing call. Please, O LORD, answer me according to Your mercy and Your perfect purpose and will for my life. (Psalm 27:7 PDCP)

Bottom Line: There is an old song I remember singing quite a lot, while growing up in church many years ago; “Where Could I Go But To The LORD!” When, on occasion, I sang it as a child, it didn’t have much impact or meaning for me, as the lyrics didn’t necessarily pertain to me, in any great sense or degree; but as I grew older and subsequently experienced life on many different levels, it became extremely pertinent to me on a number of different levels, as well as, even greater, on a very personal basis. The lyrics to the chorus of, “Where Could I Go But To The LORD,” which was written by the great songwriter (J B) Coats in 1940, go as follows:

Where could I go, where could I go
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend, to help me in the end
Where could I go, but to The LORD

The lyrics in the three verses to this song are also quite powerful! So, as it pertains to the scripture verse found in (Psalms 27:7), we recognize that the only place that we can truly go, in order to have our desperate cry for help heard, and then, necessarily, as well as, satisfactorily answered, is to The LORD! There will be times and occasions in our life, though, that a friend, a family member, the church, the government or some other agency, will not have the capacity nor the capability to really hear, respond or understand our desperate cry for help, and thereby, satisfy and fulfill our deep need. But, we do have an advocate, who is willing, waiting and wanting to hear our voice cry out to Him for mercy, from the depths of a humble and contrite heart. We ought to humbly plead, pray and cry out to Him, asking Him to hear our cry for help, with the full understanding that it is only He, that can truly give us the help that we need. For He, The LORD, is our only hope! We serve a good, gracious and full of mercy Papa God! Therefore, we can humbly appeal to His beneficent mercy, great compassion and gracious favor, and with full assurance and confidence, know that He not only hears us, but will also acknowledge us, by getting back to us, with the perfect answer for us, in complete accordance with His divine purpose and will for our life. Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 06/04/15- “Have Mercy On Me, Papa God!” (Psalms 51:1-2)

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 06/04/15- “Have Mercy On Me, Papa God!” (Psalms 51:1-2)

Premise Question: Why would Papa God ever entertain hearing our request for mercy or even seriously consider answering our desperation call to be made clean and pure, by removing all our disgusting sin, stigma of guilt and every one of our transgressions of His Holy Law?

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. (‭Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭1-2‬ NLT)

Almighty Papa God, The Supreme Sovereign Creator of Heaven and earth, I humbly request that Your kind benevolent forbearance and divine gracious favor be shown towards me, the offender of Your Holy Law. May Your magnanimous mercy be fully consistent with Your inexhaustible, absolutely dependable, never failing, endless love, and that it be in complete agreement with Your remarkable, exceptionally deep empathy and compassion for me, having a strong desire to alleviate completely my desperation, by obliterating and wiping out all of my reproach and disgrace, removing every violation of Your Holy Law. Purge and purify me, taking away entirely, out of existence, every last bit of my wickedness, making me thoroughly clean and spotless of all evil, by removing every one of my transgressions of Your Righteous Law from my life. (Psalm 51:1-2 PDCP)

Bottom Line: How great is Papa God’s unfailing love, His constant care and concern, His depth of enduring compassion for us, His unique and special creation, humankind! For it is way beyond description or compare! We were in His thoughts and heart even before we were formed in our mother’s womb! He was well acquainted with us, having a strong inclination and affinity for us, knowing us intimately, every part of us in every way. It is because of His great love and affection, His strong and not to be denied intent and inclination, as well as His unyielding affinity that He has for us, that He not only hears us, but also responds to our humble and contrite requests, by answering and fulfilling our greatest need; which is to be restored and reconciled back to Him in right relationship and sweet fellowship, being forgiven for all of our sin, having all of our guilt and shame, as well as, every one of our transgressions of His Holy and most Righteous Law removed from our lives. He, Papa God, has provided us with the perfect solution to our condition and problem, our irreconcilable differences, our irreparable and irretrievable situation, our indefensible, impossible to resolve and absolve circumstances. Because Papa God, in His great love, mercy and grace, gave us resolution and absolution, through the sacrifice of His Son upon the cross, for all those who believe and receive His perfect answer and resolve, solving our greatest problem and need, by absolving us of all our sin, guilt and transgressions, with great efficiency, He sufficiently removed our deficiency, with His unfailing love, mercy and grace. Script for today: PDCP- 11/05/14- “Real Authentic Service And Worship Of God”

Posted on

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ NIV)

As a result and consequence of all things good, righteous and holy coming from Him, through Him and for Him, I urgently implore you, my beloved fellow members of The Company of The Redeemed, to take in the landscape that stretches out before you and completely surrounds you with His magnificent, marvelous mercy, in panoramic vision, beyond your ability to see or comprehend fully. Now that you have been made aware of this wonderful knowledge, I strongly encourage you to live your daily lives, accordingly, by offering up yourself to Him, The Lord, in such a fashion and manner that doesn’t focus on self-centered, self-seeking ambitions, to be spent entirely on your own pleasures and self desires, but is a life that is, first and foremost, spent on pleasing a Holy and pure God, in every area of your life, while also serving the needs of others; in so doing, you display a true and honorable, being sensible, reasonable, and the most appropriate way to show your authentic service and worship of The Lord.
