SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 10/02- “Be Joyful, Patient And Faithful To Prayer!” (Romans 12:12)

Premise Question: Is it actually possible for us to be continually filled with the joy of The LORD, irrespective and regardless of what we may be experiencing or having to go through; if we will deliberately choose to rejoice, no matter what, learn to be patient and hopeful, in our troubling and difficult times, and always give ourselves to praying about everything and for everyone, on all occasions, in any situation and in every circumstance?

“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”
‭(‭Romans‬ ‭12:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Deliberately choose to be ever joyful, by rejoicing with a glad heart, that’s filled with gratitude and thanksgiving, as well as having a fully expectant and confidently assured belief of obtaining real hope and the complete joy of The LORD, from Him, who is The Blessed and only Hope of humankind; our redeeming LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. Be patient and still, relying on The LORD, by remaining tranquilly calm, with a steadfast resolve. Do this, without any complaining, moaning and groaning, mumbling and grumbling or being quickly or easily annoyed and given to despair, during times of affliction, persistent distress, disease and misery, that most assuredly, all too often, is also accompanied by excruciating pain, along with, arduously difficult trials and hardships. And, be ever vigilant, by being completely faithful and true, keeping your word, fulfilling your vows, being consistently and constantly humble in all ways, all of your days; always choosing to do what is right and just, while being diligently devoted to prayer, by offering up to Papa God, on behalf of yourselves and others, earnest supplications, requests and petitions of expectant, believing prayer. (Romans 12:12 PDCP)

Bottom Line: There are countless historical examples of those who were continually full of joy, filled with patience and had a confident and expectant hope that came from The LORD, through their deliberate rejoicing and devotion to a consistent prayer life. They are seen in the Old Testament through The New Testament, all of the Church history to even this time that we are now presently living in. And, there will be countess more examples to recount in the future and the coming days, as The LORD continues to tarry and we wait for His certain return.

Noah prayed and received specific instructions on how to build an Ark for the coming great deluge, even though it had never rained, he did this with much joy, enduring patiently, with an expectant hope, (it took 120 years to do it) and he never stopped inquiring of The LORD.

Daniel was thrown into a den of hungry lions, and yet, he did not stop rejoicing, praying or waiting patiently upon The LORD. He also didn’t lose his confident faith or positive attitude in and during his ordeal.

Daniel’s close friends, (commonly referred to as the three Hebrew children) that were cast into a fiery furnace, never wavered in their confident hope in The LORD and His ability to deliver them, and they ended up have a wonderful meeting with The LORD in the midst of their fiery ordeal.

David went out to face Goliath, a giant that had ridiculed and mocked, threatened and filled with disabling fear, every soldier in the armies of a whole nation, as well as personally insulting and mocking The LORD GOD Almighty and His Holy Name. It was after David had prayed, praised and sang songs unto The LORD, he went out to face the giant, with just a slingshot, five smooth stones and the greatest of his weapons, his expectant faith and confident hope in The Name of The LORD! As we all found out, Goliath was no match for David, who was armed with his faith, a slingshot, five smooth stones, (he only needed one, the others were not just in case he missed, but just in case any one of the four brothers of Goliath happen to show up to fight) and The Name of The LORD!

Remember, if God is for us, and He most certainly is, who can be against us?

Here’s a couple examples from The New Testament: Paul and Silas beaten, jailed and shackled, and yet they were rejoicing, praising, praying and patiently enduring, with a joyful confident hope, that The LORD was with them and would see them through it all! They ended up at their jailer’s house in the middle of the night having a celebration party for all that The LORD had done, and they even got to eat and drink to their fill!

Paul encourages Timothy to keep his joy, by enduring hardships as a good soldier, for a good soldier never complains, moans or groans, but continues to do what he is called to do. Paul told the Philippians to rejoice in The LORD no matter what, and then, to continue to rejoice!

James tells us to count it all joy, no matter what we may experience or have to go through!

Most recently, Christians in the Middle East, young and old alike, have been beheaded, drowned, cut in two, starved, beaten, tortured, enslaved, used and abused as sex slaves, because of their faith, and yet, testimony after testimony emerges of the joy and sustaining comfort they all experienced from The LORD, during their awful ordeal!

Now, we hear of those who were shot in the head, because they stood up and were willing to acknowledge Jesus Christ as being their LORD and Savior; willing to be recognized and counted as being members of The Company of The Redeemed—those who’ve placed their confident faith and expectant hope in The LORD! Great is their reward, with much rejoicing and celebration!

So, absolutely yes! It is not only possible, but in fact, is completely validated and established, by numerous examples from ancient history, long ago history, recent history and will be, in the history of the future, because, again, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and even beyond forever! He doesn’t change, but He can and does change our hearts, filling them with rejoicing joy, confident faith and an expectant hope; one that will not ever disappoint, diminish or fade away, as long as we joyfully rejoice, patiently endure, have a hopeful expectation and continue to faithfully pray! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 02/03- “We Are Surrounded!” (Psalms 5:11-12)

Premise Question: Why is it so significantly important, that all who would choose to take refuge and solace in Papa God, are allowed and greatly encouraged, to continually rejoice and celebrate, with joyful songs of exultation and praise?

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. For you bless the godly, O LORD; you surround them with your shield of love. (‭Psalms‬ ‭5‬:‭11-12‬ NLT)

Papa God, allow all who run to You for relief and comfort, seeking a secure and safe hiding place to take shelter in; to always be glad, taking great delight in celebratory exultations of joyful praise and worship, with the ability to do this, in Your presence for all of eternity. Provide a protective covering above all those who love, honor, serve and revere Your Holy Name; a secure covering that stretches beyond their capacity to see or comprehend, filling them to overflowing with Your fully satisfying and gratifying joy. For You, Papa God, always bless, with Your kind mercy and generous favor, all those who live according to Your righteous precepts, surrounding them, with Your all encompassing, unfailing, gracious love and goodwill. (Psalm 5:11-12 PDCP)

Bottom Line: It is significantly important for us to recognize, just how safe and really secure we are in Papa God’s presence. And, it is equally as important and extremely vital that we also realize that He has conferred upon us His gracious favor, enduring mercy and everlasting unfailing love, by bestowing on each of us the unique honor and special privilege, of having the joyous ability, to enjoy His personal presence, while we worship and praise Him now, and then, throughout all eternity, without end. So then, it’s with a heart full of great gratitude, sincere appreciation and thoughtful thankfulness, that we all, who are members of The Company of The Redeemed, should continually give Papa God all the praise, honor and glory that’s due Him, as it is He, that continually surrounds us with His protection and great love! Blessings…

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: PDCP- 07/11/15- “RPG—ACT, Weapons That We Should Utilize For Good!” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Posted on Updated on

SCRIPT FOR TODAY: 07/11/15- “RPG—ACT, Weapons That We Should Utilize For Good!” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Premise Question: Why is it so important that we choose to express ourselves in the appropriate way and manner when using the spiritual weapons of RPG and ACT; and just what is an RPG and ACT?

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭16-18‬ NIV)

Rejoice and be glad, taking and expressing great delight always, on every occasion, without exception, every time, anytime, all the time, pray earnest spiritual prayers, offering up devout supplications, entreaties and petitions continually, without cessation, give, without expecting anything in return, expressing heartfelt thanks in any and all circumstances, regardless of existing conditions, events or situations; for this is Papa God’s desired purpose and will for your life, in His Son, Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 PDCP)

Bottom Line: One of the greatest and most powerfully effective weapons that we, as members of The Company of The Redeemed, have available to us to utilize is gratitude! Gratitude is hope expressed; therefore, being grateful to Papa God will produce the greatest benefits and most desired results in our lives and the lives of others. Gratitude will produce hope in the most difficult of situations and circumstances. But in order to produce a hope that will not disappoint, gratitude will have to be expressed, not depressed or repressed, perhaps though, at times, compressed, as it may be tested and pressured, put in a press, or a grinder, in order to be expressed, squeezed, heated, pressurized or crushed, but the results will extract and produce a wonderful aroma and goodness, transforming it into something that is quite useful, as it becomes a beneficial blessing to many others. Here are just a few examples to consider: the coffee bean is roasted, put in a grinder and brewed, the grape is crushed, the popcorn kernel is pressurized and heated, the orange, lemon and lime are squeezed, all of this must take place before the goodness of each is expressed and extracted out, in order to become useful and a beneficial blessing. So, here’s how we will show and express our gratitude to Papa God: we RPG and ACT…RPG—Rejoice-Pray-Give: Rejoice on every occasion; Pray earnestly and about everything; Give generously at every opportunity. ACT—Always, without exception; Continually, perpetually and without ceasing be; Thankful in every situation and circumstance, regardless the existing conditions. By doing this faithfully, we will utilize these weapons of our warfare most prudently, judiciously and effectively and also fulfill Papa God’s will and purpose for our lives, in Christ Jesus. Blessings…
